Sylvania 3157R Zevo LED compared with stock taillight bulbs in a C5 Corvette

This video compares the Sylvania 3157R LED bulbs with the stock incandescent bulbs. The LEDs put out a lot more light than the stock incandescent bulbs in both the taillight and turn signal filaments. I have the Corvette Envy HyperFlash harness installed in this car to prevent hyper flash (and to keep my dodgy hazard light switch from making the turn signal malfunction even with the stock bulbs). The Corvette Envy harness does not make the hazards work properly with LED bulbs though. Overall I am happy with the upgrade to LED.

To fix the LED hyper flash change the brake and or turn signal relays to LED Compatible ones. You can find them at any auto parts store. I actually heard about them from another UA-cam video😄 but I've done it to both my vehicles and it works! They flash at normal speed and work like before just with brighter LED lights now👍

they make a led flasher ,, that has a little knob on the turn signal that slows or makes it flasher fast ,, i use one on my sylvania zevo mini bulbs

Just curious, these new leds are the same for each light (4)? Meaning all 4 taillights take the same kind of bulb? Not 1 bulb for breaking and 1 bulb for turn signal? Have been going back and forth between getting just the bulb or all 4 taillight replacement.

Each bulb has two circuits, one for tail light and one for brake light.
