Great video! Just wanted to add that you can get better performance with PS1 & N64 games by loading an emulator through Xell Reloaded when powering the console via the eject button. It's still not perfect though. Also since 2011 there's been LT+3.0 firmware for the DVD drives that's remained undetectable to Microsoft to this day. So being banned for custom DVD drive firmware hasn't really been a problem for over 10 years now. Also with a decent stealth server you can last on Xbox Live without being banned for well over a year before your key vault gets banned and even then getting another one is trivial.

I don't think people realize the sheer fun you can get from a hacked console or handheld. It's not always about piracy or emulation or even hacking in games / cheating. Some people just do it for fun. Some people also take the next step and use it as a way to actually earn money by finding exploits and selling them to the companies manufacturer for a bounty. Some people just like doing weird things with their consoles like custom splash images or bootloaders, etc. I have a jailbroken PS3 I never use anymore but I'd love to upgrade it with some new thermals, new fans, new HDD and some cool RGB stuff.
Having a modded 360 feels like being part of an exclusive sort of club. Like a owner’s club or some shit. Also, about that OG Xbox Emulation: The games that supported native 720p gameplay will not have that additional resolution sharpness as provided by that support when played on a 360. Crash Nitro Kart and Freedom Fighters (notice the UI being smaller when played at 720p on an OG Xbox, then somehow larger on the 360) are especially notable, alongside Tony Hawk’s Underground 1&2 (Yes, the Xbox versions of those games actually played in high definition). Bit of a bummer, but hee ho.
Could it just be some HUD element scaling issue on the built in emulator? I remember playing Rainbow Six 3 on a Xbox 360 somewhat recently, and it looked surprisingly high def even though I expected it to be around the typical 640x480 of that era. The picture was definitely higher res than 480p just upscaled traditionally. And this is kind of interesting, because I don't think the PAL versions (which I tested) of original Xbox and the games ever supported anything above 480p, and even then I think you had to enable that in-game, as the system output menu didnt allow anything high res in PAL. So that makes me wonder if 360 forces games that are capable of it into higher native resolution regardless of their region, but they don't trigger the "high res mode", leaving HUD elements and such into their default state?
I believed that until I played Soul Calibur 2 on the Xbox 360. What you said is most likely a myth. Please update your comment to reflect that reality. It simply IS rendering in a higher resolution than normal. And yes, I always use component cables with the original Xbox, so please don't ask me if I'm using composite. My theory is that it didn't on older firmware. A clue that this is probably the case is that you can find complaints about Soul Calibur 2 being forcibly stretched to wide-screen, and that just isn't the case these days (remember, Microsoft can roll out patches for the emulator that are tailored to a specific game). Therefore, it's possible that ah one time, it was standard def. It's sharper than 720p via component cables on an original Xbox though, and noticeably so, so I can't deny my own eyes.
I was still considering getting an RGH. I've always wanted one just to mod GTA Online but since it's getting shut down soon that kinda killed my interest. Might as well get a good PC instead.
Hey guys, just wanna share my happiness with you all. A couple of months ago I got constipated and, after going to the doctor to get that fixed up,my shit stayed very solid for a long time. But today my shit was so soft I shat 2 loafs and thought it was only one. Some say that you only know the value of something when it's gone and I guess that can be said about soft shit as well
Gut constipation is one of the scariest things. The thought of imploding because of your own crap, stuff of nightmares. My worst case only lasted for a week and a few days more and it was enough to change me, to appreciate the blessings of the cleansing process. Remember to eat sum fiber to help your insides roll the dough

I have a Xbox 360 rgh and it's my main console I play on. I love playing all the games on it. I know some of the games look outdated and some of the fps sucks but I've always played on console so to me I can deal with it and have tons of fun. I've played so many new games cause of this. I never played online cause I don't really care about that. I've only ever played offline and I like it that way. Edit: I really wish emulation was bigger on the 360. There really isn't that many and it sucks a lot. I love emulation but I can really only emulate things like nes and SNES and GB and GBA. I know theres a N64 emulator but I can't figure out how to make it work.
I live in Australia and I got my Xbox 360 (Jasper) in September 2010. About 5 years later, I bought a used copy of Borderlands from EB Games and it had the American disc. I put it in my Australian 360 and it worked for some reason. I later found out that my 360 is region free for most games (haven't tested a Japanese game yet) and it's also semi region locked for DVD playback. Usually, Australian DVD players can only play region 4 discs. My Xbox 360 can play region 1 discs as well, region 2 discs don't work though

Seeing that OG 360 menu gave me some 5 yr old nostalgia
All I want is to play MGS4 on my PC without it having a nuclear meltdown :(
I just bought a ps3 to mod it and play the entire metal gear saga (including portable ops, peace walker and rising) 100/10 would do again
Yo big ups on Tenchu, my G. I remember back in the PSOne days when Tenchu 2 gave level builders. WHAT?! So unheard of, back in the gap.
Who hacks a freaking console while drunk ?
What a madlad.
I would nothing more fun the drinking and hacking something together. Drinking takes the boredom of away of tedious electronic work.
god man this is so nostalgic for me. i had "legend" status on a xbox360iso and was making all my friends at school jealous playing games early
I was still considering getting an RGH. I've always wanted one just to mod GTA Online but since it's getting shut down soon that kinda killed my interest. Might as well get a good PC instead.
Muta is such a friend . Love ya Muta.
Anyone remember the kamikaze hack?
That edit at 6:35 was either brilliant or accidental. Either way I'm happy it was left in.
Muta, in my mind for at least a year I've thought about a sick ass game i played as a kid. Today my friend you have answered my longing question. Tenchu Z is so nostalgic and a great game, i spent hours and had so much enjoyment on that game and think it deserves another game...thank you muta (PS IM ALSO INEBRIATED)
Prolly one of the nicest dude on UA-cam. Liked that video. Keep it up.
By the way, you gave me so many reasons to hack my system. Might do it in an near future!

CONGRATULATIONS ON BEING FIRST MY DUDE
The day Muta starts calling himself Mr. Robot is one I can't wait for.
Hungover from all that pure intelligence. Dude will get hammered and uploaded a video called “I created the Microsoft Paper clip on GameCube”
Muta I’m eating pringles and have covid, ur making me feel much better thsnks dude
I will eat up any 360 videos, that system is such a little champ. Still got it hooked up next to my Xbox One.
OK, Muta in the thumbnail looks as if something was inserted inside him very quickly.
