Very neat, expensive and rather ineffective. This crap is rare because nobody in their right mind bought the world's tiniest radiator or the world's worst waterblock. Oh and the loop goes the other direction, reservoir feeds the pump, pump pumps through the radiator then through the block and back to reservoir, it works in the upright position as well🤙
A good radiator should be warmer than the air-cooled Xbox's back side where the exhaust is because they take the heat away from the processors faster. When radiators get hot you know they are working good. (Regardless of whether they are for water-cooling or air-cooling.) The fact that the radiator on the water-cooled Xbox was cooler in temperature than the Air-cooled Xbox's exhaust port, shows that this radiator design is worse than the regular air-cooled Xbox 360. If you do a 1-hour "heat test," you should see that the temperatures between the two Xboxes will be similar.
That makes sense but yeah my “test” with a cheap thermal camera and consoles running different games should not be taken as proving what is better than the other. I mostly do it because it’s interesting to just see the heat signatures

@@trinkettinkeringking Not what the thermal camera says and he didn't even let the coolant fully heat saturate. The reality is that you could use some quality thermal paste with stock heatsinks, mod a massive fan onto it and get a similar temp drop without all the liquid cooling nonsense. You literally have the world's tiniest radiator here. Doesn't do much but look cool to fanboys. There is a lot of hype about liquid cooling but it is mostly just an exercise in adding extra failure points to a mission critical system. The thermal imaging shows the stock 'box blowing out 95C air. It also shows the water cooled one as having several components at 80-90C. If your radiator reads as 90C, that means your coolant is probably at 80-85C (checks out because he checked the reservoir temp), which means your CPU and GPU are at least that hot. And I strongly suspect that temp probe doesn't actually work.

I modded my black Xbox 360 Elite with upgraded fans that had a green LED's that bled out through the back, this was back in 2010 so there really wasn't anything like it. I was only confident enough to do the job because I had opened up and fixed a few other 360's that failed on me in one way or another.
Seems like its a lot quieter than stock 360, even with the huge exposed fan. I had a 360 (Xenon board) from 2006 and it was almost as loud as an A/C unit. It rrod in less than a month.
It is pretty cool. The one thing I dislike is the massive 200mm fan on top. It would have maybe been better off with a decent 120mm to blow on the PCB. Awesome setup though - the coolant temperature sensor readout is cool as it gives you an idea of your temperature. Having this RGH'd would be ideal as it will give you the temps.
Suspect the fan came out of an Antec Skeleton which is prob the most bizarre PC case ever made and pretty awesome as it has that massive fan atop an open air case frame. My one which I regretted giving away I painted toxic green with red splatters and had a ton of UV and cold cathodes around it plus a pair of water cooling setups with one fluid dyed blood red with UV pigments and one dyed acid green also UV reactive and it truly was a work of art... My cats decided the fan was a cool place to go sleep and it caused a few issues including hair in the system, the green water system I had a very old Alphacool GPU cooling setup which used these very small fine pipes to feed the water blocks and just looked hench with the waters gurgling through. Only regret was I never got the finishing pieces which were Coolermaster "evil eye" reservoirs, 5.25 bay reservoirs with a magnifying orb set into the case and backlit with choice of LEDs to give it a really cool look. I did buy a Coolermaster V10 for the rig but that would not fit without cutting the Skeleton's legs, would have looked badass in there but the water circuits did a better job imho
Someone posted photos of a new build on Reddit yesterday and there was a cat sitting on top of the case, completely blocking the 360mm AIO. I replied, 'looks good but the airflow is a bit of a catastrophe'.
if the seller is cool with it, you definitely need to give him a shoutout, it would especially bring traffic to his store, which makes projects like that a lot more feasible for the average hobbyist
It's called a water drop effect. You spray some water and let it evaporate then paint/clear over after the water has evaporated. Seen mostly on custom cars and motorcycles.
The fans on the rad are indeed exhausting. They are reverse rotation fans. You can't just go by which side the label is on. You have to actually look at the blade shape. So the air is all flowing the way it should. My main issue is that you could get the same temp reduction simply by using some quality thermal paste and putting that massive fan on it with the stock heatsinks.
If you want the shell to glow green in the dark, then put it under an LED UV light and it will glow considerably well and even glow for a while longer when the UV light is turned off 👍

Dude that’s amazing. The dude who made this is my hero. What a modding god.
Why would someone watercool an og 360
why not lol
the red ring
e
Why not
why not blud
I made a full submersion 360 back in the day and it ran for years! It was in a 20 gallon fish tank and i used a fountain pump to push the mineral oil thru a heater core for a toyota corolla lol.
Its on my Knuckles508 YT channel with the name "oil submerged xbox 360 test"
I wish i made more videos of it when it was completed, but i was gaming more than anything lol
Not RGH is surprising
Indeed, I would’ve installed a dual nand chip and flashed the dvd drive for this type of console
This might be the first time I had an interest in an Xbox console since before the 360, i've only had 3 of the originals lol. I never cared about the brand after that, but having a decent PC feature for longevity, this is interesting :)
Where can i find one like this i wanna buy it
make sure on any new xbox 360 profile, you go to settings, account, download history, and check what games are attached to the profile.
$400 for something that came out in 2005 seems odd to me even if watercooled
Exactly.
you would be paying double if not 1k for a playstation 5 in this same way. So it makes plenty of sense.

@@linuxwillrise yea anything electronic is over priced but thats how its been for years. Im still sticking with first response u would be paying double if this was a playstation 5.
Wow back in the day I always wanted to do this, this console was an icon of the peak gaming era.
I LOVE YOU JACOB R
Bro 😂
Gay
@@muhammadislam0000 Its brotherly love, not gay love... 💀
I remember back in the early 2000s when people used to modify Xbox 360 to look crazy like that
I honestly would love this as a display piece. It looks so cool.
Bro I just got back into my Xbox 360 and thought it would be cool if there was a different way to cool them, you read my mind!
That has to be the craziest mod I have ever seen. The glowy paint was the icing in the cake xD
It is for sure, stock fans aren't the quietest, and that top fan is only set to 5 volts so it is completely silent
Thats sick bro, I still play mine all the time. I have an endless selection of games all on verbatim dual layer.
That's the coolest thing I've ever seen. Literally!
Thanks for the flashback man. Water cooled and JTAG.
The graffiti on the disc drive is not bad I like it.
Yes but this build was about being a bit ridiculous, not just efficient! Lol
@@trinkettinkeringkingunderstandable keep doing your thing
Nope it's from Amazon, 22 bucks! Thermaltake
Someone posted photos of a new build on Reddit yesterday and there was a cat sitting on top of the case, completely blocking the 360mm AIO. I replied, 'looks good but the airflow is a bit of a catastrophe'.
Fill the tank with coolant, not water. It'll run even cooler, and if you get the green coolant, it looks like toxic waste
Cool logo on the top. Seems familiar
if the seller is cool with it, you definitely need to give him a shoutout, it would especially bring traffic to his store, which makes projects like that a lot more feasible for the average hobbyist
Whoa, I made the lamp the guy is using in the background! How crazy some “random” UA-camr bought my lamp all these years later.
It's called a water drop effect. You spray some water and let it evaporate then paint/clear over after the water has evaporated. Seen mostly on custom cars and motorcycles.
Yup! Fun effect to do
For the $400 price point it should have been RGH'd with a larger HD and pre installed games.
Lol some people have no idea how much water cooling costs...
The equals 3 transition is crazy!
“Rabi D Bunny” bro😂😂
Even though the Xbox 360 stores are closing.
Were still getting people making console reskins of xbox 360's :)
(Also controllers)
The back fans are pulling and the top is pushing. Instead of the heat coming in the sides it's not being pushed out the sides making them hot.
The =3 transition really brought me back
I can tell whoever made that thing had a lot of fun building it!
You should put a little anti-freeze in the water loop so the metals don't corrode
If you want the shell to glow green in the dark, then put it under an LED UV light and it will glow considerably well and even glow for a while longer when the UV light is turned off 👍
Just imagine that in a gaming room with a ton of blacklights
Only thing missing is a goldfish swimming in the little tank! 🤭
I'll do that in the next build🤣
@@trinkettinkeringking nice! 😆😆
He has got potential. If he can jailbreak it as well, polish the console up to make it seem more legit and a few other tweaks then i wouldn't mind even paying 500 euros or more.
i remember seeing the original listing for this thing. I think the guy said he has a matching one he kept for himself
Yup, an all blacked out version, reservoir is in the hard drive shell🤙
Imagine going through all this instead of just building a PC
In 360 time this console was way to go for gaming this console was insanely awesome i wish i got my own at that time unfortunately we didnt have money for console since back then they were more expensive than regular pc not like nowadays
I saw the listing a few days ago and knew you were gonna buy it😆👀
🧢
All that work and not even rghed is actually crazy 💀
Awesome console the amount of work and time involved is incredible. I'm thinking that block just shifted slightly in shipping. Lucky you caught it and didn't just attribute it to eh just has loud fans. Seems like that besides the noise would wear the bearings on the fan motor out fairly quick plus slow it down.
Hella dope that whoever made put Mishka sticker on top fan Mopsters for life
