@GeneralEcchi Can confirm, when I first played versus, sometimes it really did feel as if there was a cheater. It's just in campaign you don't really get to see/feel that. And possibly higher skilled players mostly play versus. So can't really blame these people. You really need watch youtube content to play versus, both guides to not suck and to see that there is a super high skill ceiling where they basically can predict your spots.
@vocassen Yes you can blame them lol. Maybe they should educate themselves about what a cheater looks like before throwing the accusation around just because they got rolled and theyre shitters. Its no excuse.
I know youre trying to be positive, but even positivity can be harmful when it comes to stuff like what you said. People should have the self-awareness to realize that theyre not experienced and cant properly gage whether someones cheating or not, AND WE ESPECIALLY should not enable people who dont like you suggested

Getting a kick vote initiated on you for no reason and the team of randoms that have no clue why, vote kick... couldn't tell you how often that happened. I haven't played in a while, but at least 1/3 of the time.

I can understand why they tried to kick, from an outside perspective, it just looks like cheating, but he never gave valid evidence of cheating, which usually only comes in the form of killing random common infected through walls. Killing SI through walls just doesn't count unless it's a hunter that never revealed its location.
It just tells them they never wore headphones to even hear SI making loud growling or grunt noises.

@@doggoadexx2680 That's the point of headphones. Headphones let you determine which side and direction specific sounds are coming from letting you pinpoint where things are. If you don't wear headphones during versus then you aren't getting the most out of sound cues.
@@deceptivelight9399 in fairness headphones have come a long way from when this game first came out. Also I beileve it has minor aim assist in the games base settings as well or snap assist. But newer headphones is the main thing, since I rember playing this game with the 360 one ear headphone lmao

L4D2 for whatever reason either has the kindest or most toxic players imaginable, really just depends on luck when you drop into a lobby.
I typically keep my mouth shut and just play the game, usually go unnoticed by the raving lunatics who spam chat and call votes every minute.
Not that I don’t appreciate such things - seeing someone boast about how they’re a ‘35 year old with huge DD hamalookos and an even huger boyfriend’ on a decade old zombie game makes giggle.

I played online versus for the first time. I have shit ping so I accidentally shot and killed a teammate. I apologized profusely and helped him back up, and he promptly murdered me and told me to leave the game. Never played online since

The only time one would not be that aware where an SI is when one is playing a hunter. Then again, hunters still have that music cue which gives them away.

On Barns, the Tank was glitched as a Smoker. That’s why it’s sounds like an argument between a Smoker and a Tank, the game can’t decide which SI sound(s) the Smoker/Tank should be making
