It’s kinda silly that most don’t, snipers have highest penetration in the game and get quite the lot of ammo I barely even knew abt this til maybe a month ago
Fun fact: In L4D2, most Tier 2 weapons can penetrate walls.
Funnier fact: Most players don't know that.

@@robotmudkip4408 Yup, tier 1 is SMGs and pump-action shotguns, tier 2 is assault rifles, snipers, and auto shotguns.
There is also a tier 3 for weapons whose ammo can't be replenished, like HMG, grenade launcher and chainsaw.

@@thewiseowl8804 EVERY weapon can shoot through wall, however the damage is reduced.
Hence why weapons with low damage per bullet (like smg or shotguns (individual pellets)) will do very low damage through walls while weapons with high-damage per bullet (snipers, AK, magnum,...) will fare better.
However, equipping Fire Ammo or Explosive Ammo will remove the bullets' ability to go through walls.

Shooting through walls is a normal strategy in L4D, it discourages infected players from spawning too early and giving away their position. When did people get so complainy?
I was unaware of this strategy until I started watching videos of noskill, and that was very interesting that first time I found out about it. This game never fails to teach me something new, whether it's mods or not LOL.
They got complainy because they think ur hacking for shooting through walls.

@@RodrigoFlores-ls1kq depends on the game, some multiplayer requires more aggressive approach while some requires calm and focus, l4d2 versus is more on the later part so raging just make you lose concentration

Ever since I saw this trick I tested places in wich wallbang was posible, its been a blast finding this spots during co-op, one that really surprised me were the walls sorrounding the stairways at the end of the parking lot near end of the 3rd map of Dead Air.
Shooting through walls is very satisfying and watching your teammates react like "How tf dude?!"

I guess some people do play FPS games without wearing headphones. they'd be surprised how distinct the sounds are with a proper gear.
7:47 that type of melee has been happening to me a lot recently where i get the hit sound and blood spray but no damage
Jockey's hit box + Left 4 Dead 2 latency = Bullshit. Jockey is very hard to hit close range plus with the latency. Thats how the game is I guess

I've been shooting through walls through numerous Versus matches I've had since some players spawn early. Totally not cheating if your ears are good, SMH. 🤦♂️
I'm new at versus but what does shooting through walls do exactly? Does it just stop the special infected from spawning in the room through the wall of where you are shooting?
@@BartholomewTheIII Mostly you shoot through walls so that you can save whoever is constricted/pounded/lunged/pounced from afar. Nothing wrong with that since it's a mechanic in the game.

pairing the "headphones" audio configuration
with a good set of audio drivers can give
you pinpoint hearing of where special infected spawn. All you have to do is look in the direction you heard the sound and start firing.
Obviously with practice, you'll develop muscle memory; thus making you look like a "cheater".
This applies to CS:GO as well.
