L4D2 Bunnyhop Tutorial & Advanced

- There are a lot of ways to Bunnyhop but Forward Bunnyhopping is the most common way. There are countless ways to use Bunnyhop in the Left 4 Dead franchise to your advantage and it is a cool way to show your skill and dedication!
The mouse cursor in this video is not entirely accurate but most commonly you just have to look left&right depending on what direction you are strafing!
General Important Rules for Forward Bunnyhop:
- Once you jump, let go of W immedietally and never press it again until you stop!
- Strafe in the air into the direction you are holding the button, shortly before your next hop strafe into the other direction!
When to use Crouch Bunnyhop:
- Crouching while hopping off a non-flat surface usually gives you a big boost in velocity!
Binding the jump action to your mouse wheel will not work properly because every Left 4 Dead 2 server, by default, runs only on a tickrate of 30 which is pretty low compared to most multiplayer games. Not enough time to register inputs. If you ever play on a custom server and it has a higher tickrate, Bunnyhopping will become very difficult but the jump wheel trick may or may not work!
Bunnyhop takes a lot of time to learn and master, you will not magically be able to do it after watching this video.
No cheats or scripts that make Bunnyhop easier were used in this video.

A lot of it is timing, which I am bad at. Also, nice video very HS top-ish
HS is a crap channel. They steal people's findings
You can do it!
baka
Give this man a medal, I've been practicing normal bhop for a while now and it's still not consistent yet he's doing all of those perfectly, what a dedicated player.
Its not hard to hit clips like these after like 5-10 mins, its harder to hit them in a vs game with commons etc…

A decade and a half later we still get a tutorial and an audience to watch it. What a game this really is
Those sideway hops were amazing
Thanks!! I trying this for days
Bro, amazing video and nice hops 💪
Thanks!
ADMIN HE IS DOING IT SIDE-WAYS
Thanks for these tutorials!!
it helps me a lot if I time it with when I expect the screen to shake due to the landing rather than when I land. I feel like I can predict that easier.
Well done for copying the script and idea and not indicating the original author in the video and teaching the wrong things in the comments. It’s immediately obvious how “well” you understand this topic. This deserves a like.
Very useful tips ..
Fire bhops🔥🔥🔥
LOVE THE VIDEO!!!
Totally not inspired by hs top and a certain team member
you're so talented bro, bhop is a nice feature in l4d2 an it can always come in handy when you're good at it, sad thing is people will always use scripts for this, and valve wont to anything about it.
insane half sideways and overall bhops
Ive found it best to play on 210 ish fps and youll find yourself able to do more bhops if rather use your camera height and where it is relative to the ground
monitor with a high refresh rate also helps a little bit with timing the inputs but isnt that significant
this man has only 94 subs?? here is your 95th one :)
W Bhops
Bro ur crazyy
Hard 🔥
Good video but the timing to press a+space and d+space is hard for me lol
I assume you either had the timescale at a slower pace (which oddly is harder to bhop on) or you legitimately bhopped with many attempts
aaaaand its all over my screen again 😛
any tips to enhance my jump timing? like what should i always check on when to jump?
Also, does binding the jump to mouse scroll helps on bhopping? I think I saw someone actually said that it does help.
it doesn't help in timing
cool
If i converted a mouse and keyboard to do backwatds bhop on controller then i can do this.
I think I got it right.
would be nice if you actually performed it when there are hordes or special infected to show how truly effective these bhops are.
I actually recorded one clip where I put myself below 40 health (limping) and bunny hopped away from a tank who I disabled its rock throwing ability, which means it can catch up very quickly. It is pretty effective in this scenario scenario when below 40 HP. Also when you are at a gauntlet event you can be quite fast and gain a bit of a headstart. Of course when there are a lot of common infected running at you then you'll still get stopped rather quickly. Like I showed in the video you can perform various skips in the middle of a game as well! Don't rush though, please 😅😂
depends on how good you are avoiding objects that could block your way
How do I see the tickrate of a server?
I can do everything but the spacebar.
fun fact: You can bind your scroll key to jump with
bind mwheelup +jump
and/or
bind mwheeldown +jump
That won't work. Try.
@@left4discordit worked for me tho, i found myself doing better using the mousewheel that my spacebar
I don't know what you're playing on but that shit doesn't work because of how the jumps and timing is designed. It works in some other source games but isn't reliable in l4d
Binding to mousewheel is not better in l4d2.
You still need to manually time the jump, spamming scroll doesn't work in l4d
do u really not crouch when bhopping? cuz i learned bhopping playing as an infected, so i always crouch, even as a survivor, bhopping without crouch feels slow...
there are pros and cons on doing no crouch
W
So we don't need to press our forward button at all?
Yeah, that goes for all games that allow bunny hopping, like in Quake. You have to let go of the forward key the moment you begin bunny hopping
@@OperatorMax1993 needs a expensive keyboard or what? 😂
I still can't. Maybe I doing it wrong...
he doin without "W"
does he changes the button?
@@harunozuigul55 ur not supposed to do it with "W". You only want to press "W" for momentum starter.
@@vexywexy alright
oh always thought bunny hop is jump and hold W but it's not hahaha
For some games that is exactly how it works, since different engines
just search Tutorial de Autobunny para Left 4 Dead 2 2024 on youtube, u can bhop ez with holding spacebar on all server
