@@THECASUALco Hello Reggie, I hope you are feeling very well, I would like to buy a jacket or coat at Beams or Zozotown but I have problems with sizes, it is likely that my size is small, ¿How can I contact you? ¿Who can I contact to help me select the size? ¿How is the purchase process on your website? ¿Do you have an email to communicate with you? I hope you can answer me, I will be very grateful.
Rick is one of the last frontier of independence designer. He's one of the few that debut in the 90's and still remains independent without being bought out by some big corporation!
While we're talking about couples designing together, let's not forget about Christophe Lemaire. It's definitely a different sector of minimal high fashion but the craftsmanship and design pedigree are not to be overlooked.
Reggie when the whole lockdown eases up u should rly try more vlog type vids, I’ve seen a few from a few years back and rly enjoyed the style of vids, just a thought👋 Great vid tho 👍
I loved the way you briefly handled the conversation from 5:30 to 6:00. Acknowledged that both sides have issues to overcome.. then gracefully (and with positive equanimity) move on to the topic at hand. Sometimes it takes a person being engulfed in a much different culture to give an honest interpretation of what they see happening in another.
Study Hugh! I think his work will be very relevant in the future. The use of premium and sustainable materials makes him the best designer for me. I also love that his dress code doesn’t change and he sticks to it whilst still devolving. Plus: he doesn’t follow trends and comfort is absolutely important in his designs... I think comfort is often not very important to designers but it definitely should be because after all you still want to wear your clothes and feel comfortable...
Bruh Glenn Martens, Kunihiko Morinaga, Marine serre for sure. And a mass recognized OG who is such an example of persistence- Yohji himself. Damn there's so many good ones
Reggie, video suggestion if I may. You've mentionned in the past that finding your style is a journey and that once you find it, you can buy more durable pieces. Let's say I'm atthe beginning of that journey. Are there some brands you would recommend to explore, aka brands that embody style philosophies pretty well, while still being pretty cheap?
Well, you know...this guy called Samuel Ross..? Might’ve heard of him? At first glance he might seem like the typical Virgil protege and therefore his missing presence from this list seemingly justified. However, Samuel Ross’s A-Cold-Wall* is NOT Off-White! The man is an artistic visionary on the level of Rick Owens, always kicking ass in the morning and taking names in the evening. His multifaceted approach to design is astonishing in the way he manages to communicate his narrative through a number of pieces - all the way from a Nike shoe (that btw is like no other ever created), to his installation of art pieces in the shape of chairs or through his installation, “Concrete Objects.” One of the best in the game and at an astonishing age of just 29...but hey - only room for so many on a list, it’s cool, but ya’ll should read up on this man^
How many times have we invoked Sam Ross on this very channel? A ton. With all due respect, we can't keep repeating the same people all the time. This list is VERY extensive and you added your piece. No need to get defensive. We all respect the work of Mr. Ross.
@@THECASUALco Aaight didn’t mean to suggest you were neglecting the man altogether - can’t claim to be a regular on this channel but I check in from time to time, so you could say I was unaware of your coverage of Sam, but I will definitely check it out! Great content as always!
for real, reebok could really be up there in terms of collaborations. Club c collabs got me seeing them being insanely huge later on, cant believe such fire collabs like the story mfg’s and the sneeze mag 85’s are so slept on and are just so mfin clean, aye better for the wallet tho 🚶🏼♂️
I'm sorry but ever since his Fendi couture debut, something became stupendously obvious about Kim - he's been clinging WAY TOO MUCH to his artist "collabs" formula like a crutch that he has singlehandedly placed Dior Men helplessly into. The fact that there does not seem to be anything considerably creative with Kim when left to his own pure device is pretty concerning at this stage in his career considering that he has, for lack of a better term, pretty much muscled his way into Fendi where his longstanding formula does not seem to be the norm (unless he places it there). Either way, whether he flinches and reverts to collabs or doesn't, he seems potentially fucked now for exposing a creative weakness.
It's interesting video idea if you could dig up to Supreme design camp. It birthed Noah, Awake, OAMC, etc. What is 'Supreme' design that makes it famous? Appropiation? Boldness? Homage to the street?
yall my dudes and all but come on man releasing a video about male designers in Women's history month lol. At least show some love to the ladies first. This Women's Fashion Designer vid better bet HYPE.
You know what... you’re absolutely right. There was gonna be some tongue in cheek response to this but the ladies should have come first in this case. Chalk it up to being so entrenched in Japan that you forget the importance of not forgetting we’re you come from.
Fashion is so depressing right now. Race this, gender that, alien this, technology that. This problem in the world, that political agenda, fake people here, sabotage there... Lol Wanting a career in fashion is a burden Lol The thought of giving it your all & making it is a burden 😐
I don’t think that was really the point we were getting at here. Our channel is predominantly occupied by young males. Our intent to take them from a street perspective to a more fashion inclusive perspective. Starting with other males who are breaking boundaries are more likely to encourage them to do the same. There was absolutely no political agenda reflected in this episode.
Reggie-sama low key showcasing his fits even though we ain’t getting a closet tour
Never say never...

Kenzo takada. I love his vintage stuff. We lost him last year to Covid but what talent. A veteran in the game...🙏🏽

An American dude, perfecting his Americano style in Japan. 👌

Samuel Ross is a personal favourite and his conscientious approach to cultural representation is certainly a highlight of his work

Lies again? Dallas Bull S**t
Yohji/ Kansai Yamamoto? both beyond shook up the fashion world yet still had a dedication to the craft.
I’ve watched three of videos so far. I like your approach. Subscribing now

Would like to seer you talk about Demna Gvasalia or Errolson Hugh in the next one
Im a huge fan of reebok, i hope kerby can undone adidas' decade long of mismanagement of the reebok brand.

show looks so much better at 60fps
