Hey luke, you're incredibly articulate and fluent with your words. I appreciate your manners, as well, saying something critical and remaining polite is an exceptional talent. This is one of your best videos!
I just love how people think that things like ruffles, colors, silhouettes, etc. are actually gendered. There is no scientific rule that pink is feminine and that dresses belong to women. There is no scientific rule that men in dresses make them unmanly. We only associate it as feminine because we are used to seeing women in dresses not men. That’s why trousers were considered too manly for women in the early 1900s but now are considered genderneutral, because we frickin got used to seeing them on both genders. It’ll be the same with men and dresses. In a hundred years people will look back and think how close minded we were for thinking man in dresses are unmanly, just like women in pants a hundred years back. It’s actually laughable how these conservative people think like that. Knowing all this these people seem like little children to me who don’t understand the world yet and need a bit attention.
I mean, as a woman, I love having the ability to explore my feminine and masculine side but I really do feel sad that men aren't allowed to explore feminity without being blasted off by society.

Also, when I first heard the rumblings of "conservatives" naysaying Harry wearing a dress, my first thought was "which time?".
I found your channel via Hannah, and am excited to stick around!
@222ckc exactly
I liveeee for this, sharing this everywhere immediaaateeeelyyyyy
thank you for the in-depth analysis
You are the smartest guy when it comes to fashion critics and everything you said was well said, and well received!! ❤️💯❤️💯❤️
*i've never clicked on a video faster in my entire life*
Love this video!!! You hit all the points that are essential to this story, and adding historical references really added to your arguement
I mean, as a woman, I love having the ability to explore my feminine and masculine side but I really do feel sad that men aren't allowed to explore feminity without being blasted off by society.
Thank you for making this point so thoughtfully. I would have just started screaming 2 minutes in about how nothing they said makes any sense. You have compiled an intelligent response and delivered it well. Thank you!
A Tatianna “Thank You!” to you for making this video.
Choices!
This is probably your best video yet!! Ill be dropping a link to this every time someone wants to complain about men wearing dresses
let's hope that masculinity is not just defined by what one wears, what a sad definition of masculinity that would be
Also... I love the fact you've decided to comment on the historical aspects of men´s and ceremonial clothing, and there's a side of me that would love to discuss it with you. Of course, I'm not a famous youtuber, I'm not part of the industry, but I do believe that the way you've approached the topic opens a door to new discussions about this phenomenon.
And can we please talk about Scotsmen in kilts? Sexy BEYOND sexy.
Thank you for making this video, Luke!
"Slow and steady wins the race...in my life at least" same hun...same
Amazing video, among my favorite of yours. Loved the focus on history and culture. Truly educational. Keep it up!!! It doesn't matter to be late to a topic if you are doing the homework and coming forward with informed views and arguments
Being a cis woman, I have to say. This cleaver and educated breakdown is so good that I literally almost cried 😭 I can't even explain. Also let's take a moment to appreciate a fashion channel that's not vapid, a channel that discusses art and ties in history. HauteLeMode is a rare gem on UA-cam.
Cis is a slur.
Just say "woman"
Eloquent, well spoken, had HYSTORICAL OBJECTIVE facts while also elegantly roasting the conservatives, I love you so much Luke
As a seamstress, you really broke down EVERY thought I had about this. Basically, clothes are fluid.
Thank you for all your informative videos 💕
"reject modernity, embrace tradition.
Harry wears a dress
"Wait not like that!"
Would love to see you make a video about how to build the perfect wardrobe, i.e what pieces you need, what brands are the best for certain pieces. Everything you wear is so chic! 🥰♥️
I’m proud of Harry✨
I’ve been waiting for this video sis. Lemme send my parents this link for that ✨education✨
*gasps in homosexual* lmaooo

Let's just talk about facts. He looked damn good!
Thank you for shining light on the hundreds of years of fashion behind us. Culture and societal norms around the world changes all the time! What good does it do to put people in boxes?
I love how you dragged through the mud all of these clowns talking out of their asses YOU DID BEAUTIFULLY
I love you soooo much for adressing this in sucn an amazing way! I get furious seeing awful comments and cannot keep my cool sometimes. I agree with everything you say ❤️
I was waitinggggg
This video is magnificent! Keep up with the good work Luke!
