    That was an excellent recipe. I’ve never seen the noodles prepared, laid out, and then layered in the lasagna like that … I thought it was a very clever way of preparing the noodles to keep them from sticking together and to ensure you use them all in the most effective and efficient way possible. I learned something new … and have been preparing lasagna for years?! Lol So Thank you for sharing your recipe!! ❤️👍😊

    If you’re using canned tomatoes always remove the basil. It’s been in that can for who knows how long and tends to be bitter. Replace with fresh basil or omit it

    • @carpathianken
      @carpathianken Рік тому +3

      I stopped buying canned tomato's with basil in them because they tasted weird & yet basil is one of my favourite herbs, now I know why that is.I learned something. Thank-you

    • @hypnoticclips82
      @hypnoticclips82 9 місяців тому

      Nothing happens to the basil all of it preserved that's why it's in the can it tastes the same as fresh basil and usually canned tomatop sauce doesn't have chunks of basil in it

      Hi Manuel, no I just put some seasoning salt in the frying pan to start. I usually use like an 85/15 ground beef mixture, and then spoon off any extra fat. Hope that helps!

      We'll, this is HER recipe. I always use fresh onion & garlic. Her recipe is likely geared for a little more simplicity. Although if you're taking the time to make your own sauce & let that simmer for an hour, why not use fresh garlic & onion?
      Peace.

    Um you’re suppose to use lean meat so it’s not too wet in the end for the same reason now you’re having to remove the fat. So many things incorrect here... red flag moving on

    • @CookingUpLove
      @CookingUpLove  2 роки тому +6

      Thanks for the note Laura B! We like to use the 80/20 blend because its got more flavor, and you're right it does end up with more fat at the end but we just scoop out the extra 😊

    A little expensive beef choice for lasagna - in one breath you say it’s great but then say you drain it (It also doesn’t clog your pipes if you run hot water and you’re not dumping like a gallon of oil). Ps are you getting props from Costco??? I’m still giggling about the wagyu beef choice. Oi vey.
