      Aww your so welcome! I didn't mention much about the sauce I used, but just a tip, use a high quality marinara sauce for best results. I used a brand called Rao's Homemade Marinara Sauce, I should've mentioned that in the video.

    • @LadyLeeBird
      @LadyLeeBird Рік тому +7

      I've never tried Raos sauce, but have seen it in stores. It looks good, but pricey.
      I discovered Mids sauce years ago in a grocery store, and it's pricey as well ($5 per jar on average, but I buy when on sale) but WELL WORTH IT!
      I use the Mids meat sauce in my lasagna every time, and I'll use a cheaper brand like Aldis meat sauce cuz one jar will not do a whole pan.
      I also have a secret ingredient that takes my lasagna to the next level.. cream cheese instead of ricotta.
      I used to be very intimidated by lasagna too, but it's a very simple and easy meal that goes a long way. Leftovers are even better! Freeze it if you have a small family, and you've got dinner ready on nights you don't want to cook!
      P.S. this lasagna looks good, I'll have to pick up some raos sauce up on my next trip and see how it compares to my Mids! 👍

The cheese on top wasn't gooey like yours but it had just enough browning where it gave it a great crunch and taste still. My son and I loved it!

I love how it's made with ground beef instead of mixing it with Italian sausage (not a fan of the sausage, but to each's own) and I love that most of the products came from HEB which is my FAVORITE grocery store to shop. @@formatique_arschloch Italian sausage is simply a sausage made with pork (sweet sausage). Traditionally, Italian dishes such as this are with combined meats, veal, pork, beef, even lamb. Sausages are usually the most common way to add ground pork into dishes. I usually just squeeze it out of the casing. Cucina italiano.

    Add a lil warmed milk and melted butter together to your ricotta to have more of a béchamel sauce 🙌🏾
    Add your noodles to hot water in a dish and just let the soak while you’re making the sauce that way when you cut noodles to size the noodles are more viable/soft to tear.

    Can I just say that anything you make from scratch from soup to cakes tastes 199% better than shop brought. So give cooking a try. I am surprised that there are so many that cannot cook 🙄

    Put Cajun seasoning on frozen french fries in my air frier. Gives a little tasty zest.

    Hi you can also use honey to neutralise the acidity, it’s healthier than sugar. With love from Australia 😊
