I think the most tragic moment in Kotor history is when the mass shadow generator was activated, so many people suffered because of that event. Everyone died, the Jedi exile lost all of her force bonds which led to an excruciating pain, Bao Dur suffered from immense guilt, it's where Canderous lost the war that he was destined to win and it was one of the turning points for Revan and Malak. But the most painful consequence out of all is that of Darth Nihilus, it is where his hunger was born, which consumed and tortured him and eventually entire planets.
I'm pretty sure it also created Darth Sion also. In kotor 2 at the sith academy I'm pretty sure he tells you that he awoke broken on that broken world with nothing but rage
Canderous killing his wife is kinda meaningless within kotor 2 story if you turned revan to dark side Canderous killed his wife for revan only for revan to beat the fk out of him Even tho revan novel came out later i think
I think Carth's story gets so much worse if you romance him as Lady Revan. He finally opens up and finds another chance at love only to have her leave him behind and never return. 😢
How dare you not mention the mega-chad Trask Ulgo who guides you on how to open chests and transfer your consciousness into different people temporarily!

Some people tend to hate the characters who are mean to their guy. Who remembers the forums when the game was released should remember that Kreia actually came back from being one of the characters most hated by thin-skinned players. The NPCs, like Vrook and Belaya, have it worse, but I found both of their stories tear-jerkingly tragic. It all depends on how badly your guy mishandles the situation due to malice or otherwise, and it's often not canonical. Vrook, but especially Kavar and Zez-Kai Ell, are just in the middle of it all while their world is being destroyed, stuck in their ways and unable to escape it. You can either be the one who hunts them down, like an assassin, or watches how they fail to measure up to what the galaxy needs. Belaya, on the other, resembles Yuthura in that she, too, may leave the Jedi, and she'll do the wrong thing for the right reason: she'll go from loving someone to hating you for what you did. Then you can mock her in her face and leave her dead body in the dust on Korriban.
My God... These were sad. Some of these I had no idea about. Like GO-TO was a DROID!? I thought he just used that to talk to the Exile. Also I had a massive crush on Mission cause, at the time, she was older than me. Lol.
I must admit, it did take me ages to get the "You ARE the droid I'm looking for!" achievement on Steam. But damn, maxing influence With G0T0 really recontextualises soooooo much of the game. The Restoration Project, the Exchange, the bounty and all those HK-50s, plus his actions on Malachor. It's crazy!
Now I'm no expert, but I thought the Mandalorian's revered and respected Revan - not down right hated him. That isn't to say you can't respect someone but dislike them, but the Mandalorian's are all about honor in battle and whatnot.
Tell me, have you ever heard the Tragedy of Darth Traya the Thinker? I suppose not. Its not a story Jedi or Sith would ever tell. Kreia was first a Jedi thousands of years ago, back when the Sith were still a thing. (I'll let you finish the rest)
hi, im not sure u ever talk about it, and i just think about it, what do you think about the channel "unreal cinema" how try to make a kotor series ? (if this is not a scam), i don't think u ever talk about this subject
Miraluka don't have eyes, they have flesh where their eyes should be. But he carves out holes where the eyes should be, metaphorically opening her eyes.
@@100StarWars Ahhh...that explains the gory image I saw in a comic years ago. I already knew they didn't have eyes, I just thought the sockets were vestigial.
The only thing that annoys me about kotor2, is that out of all the companions, mandalore should be force sensitive. I thought revan had that kind of power to inspire etc hanging out with him would somehow create a force connection in u. Plus with bastillas battle meditation, just thought it would have slowly made canderous force sensitive. Battle precognition etc Plus a mandalorian jedi would have been cool for the cutscenes with other mandalorians.
This is a bit backwards, Canderous is actually the least likely to be Force Sensitive. And no, he cannot "become" Force Sensitive, no matter how many Jedi he hangs out with. Revan did not create Force Bonds with people, apart from his one bond with Bastila, and no Jedi can actually "create Force Sensitivity" in another being. Not Revan nor Bastila. That's not how Force Sensitivity works at all. That's not even what the Exile does in KOTOR 2 with their companions either, to be accurate. Rather, the Exile had their connection to the Force completely broken by Malachor. They couldn't feel it all. Instead, they regain their connection to the Force by forming bonds with other Force sensitives. Hence why they form a bond with Kreia and why she theorises that the Exile can feel the Force through her, like a conduit. This also applies to the other party members you meet who can become Jedi, they all had Force potential and the Exile rebuilds their own connection to the Force by training and building these connections. Bao Dur learning to control his rage, the Disciple was the Exile's former padawan, the Handmaiden being the daughter of a Jedi (Arren Kai), Atton was practically trained as a Sith Assassin and Mira being able to attune to the sheer force of life on Nar Shadaa (she can literally feel the Living Force on Nar Shadaa like how Visas finds it overwhelming.) These are all extremely powerful connections to the Living Force; on Malachor, Kreia even calls all of these individuals "the Lost Jedi". But this does become rather sinister when you realise that the Exile isn't actually rebuilding their own connection to the Force, they're leeching off of others. This is why the Jedi Masters wanted to sever them completely on Dantooine. It's also why the Sith Assassins become more powerful with the Exile, they are doing the same thing through them. It's also why the Exile can absorb the Living Force from living beings. And it's why Nihilus nearly died trying to feed on the Exile. There was no Force Bond to feed on, it was like two black-holes trying to swallow each other. Canderous never had this type of connection to the Force and neither did Hanharr (he's in a life-debt, he's screwed anyway.) Canderous follows the Exile out of his past experiences with Revan, and the Mandalorians' previous experience with Jedi like Exar Khun. He doesn't have the same kind of connection to the Exile that the others do. He's there for his own ambition, to build Clan Ordo. The fact that we gain influence with him at all is part of the broader game mechanic. But notice how relatively shallow the influence system is with Mandalore, you don't get a lot out of him. Not like the Lost Jedi.
Visas Marr Already didn't have eyes Miraluka's uses Force sight cause They are born WITHout eyes. nice research bud, Nilius didn't do anything by removing her eyes. she already didn't have eyes.
I wasn't sure how to articulate the actuality. But there was like... flesh where her eyes should have been. Nihilus then basically carved that flesh out, leaving gaping holes where her eyes would be to mimic eyes. But in hindsight I shouldn't have said eyes explicitly, or should've been clearer in the metaphor of carving out her eyes.
The biggest issue in Kotor 2, the gender locked companions. Mikal is hands down the worst companion of the bunch. The least compelling story, and very creepy.
@@Nikelaos_Khristianos But he wasn't her Padawan. He states that he'd picked her as his master, and left the order when she didn't return from the war. He then proceeds to be very condescending to the woman he wanted as a master, upon meeting her again. All the way around, pretty creepy guy. And honestly, not terribly useful, you get just as much value if you only barely brush past him and leave him behind in Khoonda.
T3-M4 and Exile: Die because SWTOR has to exist. Me: I HATE SWTOR and will never recognize it as canon in any form; not KOTOR 3 and until I get a KOTOR 3 the story stops at KOTOR 2. I'm serious by the way; damn though T3 and the Exile dying thru BS is just nonsense, I mean the Exile is pretty much on Revan's power level by KOTOR 2 and you expect me to believe that she was killed by some mid-range power level Sith. Nah not happening also nobody tanks a flamethrower to the face in Star Wars and walks it off. So yeah I mean no offense to fans of SWTOR but you are never going to get me to recognize it as canon even by EU standards its as dead to me as the Sequel Trilogy is along with the Vong War and Darth Caedus elements of Star Wars that I don't like will be forever regarded as non-canon in my humble opinion

1:15 how could you do Trask like that? 😢
It's crazy!
Waiting patiently for the Mand’alor video
The most tragic for me is that i can never replay it (since i remember everything all too much and there's nothing new waiting for me there)
Now I'm no expert, but I thought the Mandalorian's revered and respected Revan - not down right hated him. That isn't to say you can't respect someone but dislike them, but the Mandalorian's are all about honor in battle and whatnot.
Another fact about Carth. When he died, he was reincarnated as a human named Kaiden Alenko
How is Saul Karath on the Ebon Hawk talking to Carth like their friends??? Did I miss something? That never happened when I played the game 🤯🤯🤯
Magick
You are a good SW channel among many hack frauds. There, I said it.
Haha, Thank you.
kotor is kinda tragic especially when you find out what happens to revan and Meetra Surik
Carth the FIRST kotor companion?! This is Trask Erasure. You guys must be on opposite shifts
Kotor is perfect star wars
Amen
I didn’t now that about Atton… that’s rough
Poor t3, I remember reading the Revan book and being thoroughly annoyed at that books ending chapters.
Actually the entire SW universe is dark and sad and tragic.
True dat
hi, im not sure u ever talk about it, and i just think about it, what do you think about the channel "unreal cinema" how try to make a kotor series ? (if this is not a scam), i don't think u ever talk about this subject
I covered it a couple of years ago when it was announced! Seems to have gone dormant though.
Can't believe you left out trask
100% Star Wars: Let's start wirj the first.companion . . .
Me: Trask
100% Star Wars: Kaidan Alenko!
Me: . . . Ok, i guess 😭.
Miraluka are born without eyes, so Nihilus didn't take the eyes of Visas Marr
You need to play 2 again, Visas didn’t have her eyes removed by her former master.
I've replied to many comments that I made a mistake in the specific wording.
I love kotor content but now I’m depressed af😭😭 why can’t they all be happy ugh
Then my job here is done :P
Nice
Carth wasn’t truly the first if you don’t recall
Aren't Miraluka already blind?
Also, the most tragic moment of KOTOR is that Trask Ulgo wasn't included in this video.
Miralukans don't have eyes. They have skin over their shallow empty sockets
Battle precognition etc
Plus a mandalorian jedi would have been cool for the cutscenes with other mandalorians.
What never lived cannot die
What abt trask??
What about Trask?!?
#ript3
Im the real exile
If Disney was smart, they’d start a tv show with this and get a new trilogy out of it.
What so Kreia was graped? Or went through body harassment?
It could be a conclusion one comes to based on her wording.
@@100StarWars ewww ..... Like don't do that shiii to nobody but why her outta all people tf 🤢
T3-M4 dies?? ;(
Please narrate my life :)
For real 🤭
:O
Visas Marr Already didn't have eyes Miraluka's uses Force sight cause They are born WITHout eyes. nice research bud, Nilius didn't do anything by removing her eyes. she already didn't have eyes.
I wasn't sure how to articulate the actuality. But there was like... flesh where her eyes should have been. Nihilus then basically carved that flesh out, leaving gaping holes where her eyes would be to mimic eyes.
But in hindsight I shouldn't have said eyes explicitly, or should've been clearer in the metaphor of carving out her eyes.
@@100StarWarsThats how the Miraluka's look .
The biggest issue in Kotor 2, the gender locked companions. Mikal is hands down the worst companion of the bunch. The least compelling story, and very creepy.
He has potential on paper, just wish he was a bit more... Bitter. He was the Exile's former padawan and was left high and dry.
Carth's tragic fact is that he was boring.
Revan captured and Exile killed? What kind of a shitty fanfiction are you talking about here.
There was no sequel to kotor 2 silly. Can you imagine the backlash if what you said here happened?
Not on my watch
It's written in the book Revan by Drew Karpyshyn. It did happen. It's as much canon as KOTOR is.
@@leventebardossy5962 books written by fat idiots have zero canonity, it's pure fanfiction made out of spite for Chris Avellone's superior work. I'm not gonna elaborate further
Have you been under a rock for the last 11 years? That's precisely what BioWare went with for the Old Republic MMO. 😂😂 Like it or not, that's their canon.
@@Nikelaos_Khristianos SWTOR isn't any sort of canon, one of the writers for the game wrote the Entity and thought it was Kreia's spirit. Even JJ Abrams wouldn't fuck things up so royaly.
Mission is annoying
😵
Alot of choices in this world and you chose to be wrong lol. She's nice and always is thinking of others
