Each cycle count represents the number of times a battery has been drained and charged. It's important to note that the decrease doesn't necessarily mean that the battery was drained to 0% -- if someone used their battery for only a few minutes and the battery drained from 100% to 99%, and then the owner charged the laptop again, that would still count as 1 cycle. Apple defines a cycle as using the equivalent of a full charge. So if you drain the the battery to 50%, recharge it, and then drain it to 50% again, you’ve used the equivalent of one full charge. That would be a cycle.

My experience has been quite good the few times have used. Just this month, I purchased an Apple Watch Ultra 2 model and the classification was "Used - Very Good". The watch was discounted from $799 to $604. Upon receipt I inspected and could tell by Apple serial number status that it was original bought in November 2023 and still under AppleCare until November 2024. Everything was in the box, in like-new condition. The only signs it was used was that the charger cable had been removed and put back into the box and could tell the band had been used for a little bit. The watch was in pristine condition with no defects at all. Was very pleased.

The one thing I find Amazon is a bit of a scam with is the fact they get a return that the person states is faulty and sends it back out to the next customer. So many times I have gotten something that looks like a return that has been sent right back out without them checking. I tested it once. Generally when I've run into problems and had a return, they just send me a brand new version of the item. Had it happen a couple of times. I think they just tend to eat the cost of a lot of stuff to avoid as much time as they can on support.

My experience with a refurbished Galaxy watch 4 classic was really good until I went swimming with it 😭 the third-party seller was tryna not give me a new one because it was after the 90 day warranty from them. But thankfully I got a new one after I had to threaten them on getting Amazon involved 💀
I bought a renewed SteelSeries Arctis Pro for almost 50% off the original price, with the caveat that the BOX was only slightly damaged and scuffed. Too good to be true. However, the product description was misleading. The device came faulty, with a non-working handset and both rechargeable batteries busted. Thankfully, being a Prime member made the return process seamless!
amazon renewed is great in my opinion ive purchased a iphone xr for like 300 bucks for premium condition phone came in pristine condition but the charger wasnt factory and recently i purchased an iphone XS max for my father in excellent condition and it too came flawless
Amazon products no longer have those “extra built-in ads” for cheaper products. I owned one a while ago and there was an update that said “you no longer have to worry about extra ads, enjoy!” 😅
I bought a refurbished razer viper v2 pro and have had zero issues with it almost 2 years later. It didn't come in a razer box but instead a amazon renewed carboard box.
I got an "excellent" Galaxy s22 refurbished and there was significant specs and scratches all around the side of the phone. I'm not to butt hurt about it since it's just cosmetic, especially since I'll just put a case over it anyway, but for it being "excellent" that's not great!
He probably either sends them back, or resells. Although everything he buys is just a tax write off for business. So, they can just throw away hundreds of dollars.
Amazon Renewed isn’t terrible when you buy directly from Amazon. However, the quality control of third party refurbishers is hit or miss. I’ve had good and bad luck buying phones from Amazon. Some have come in pristine condition and fully functional. Whilst others came in terrible condition with broken parts.
I bought an Amazon renewed iPhone 15 pro and it came with 100% battery capacity, only 1 battery cycle, 2 small scratches on the display, and there is no indication of any parts having been replaced according to the settings. In fact, I’m not even sure how it was possibly renewed if it only had a battery cycle count of 1 and no parts were supposedly replaced. But to say I’m happy with my product is an understatement. Saved me a couple hundred bucks and works like new!
I buy from the Amazon warehouse all the time. They are returns, so it’s a bit of a crapshoot - but sending back is easy if you get a dud. Good deals on non-electronic household goods especially. They usually try to confirm all the bits and pieces are included but it’s very common for small parts to be missing.
I bought a Z790 Hero that was listed as Used - Good, but as far as I could tell, it was never installed. No scratches from being screwed to standoffs or having cables connected, all peels were in place, and all accessories were included and sealed. I think someone saw the damage to the box and returned it. Saved me over $200
When building my pc I got a few things renewed. The motherboard, turtle beach wireless headset and cooler master mouse. Everything new would have been half the price of my pc, around $150 after it all.
As someone who worked for Amazon...there isn't a huge amount of work going into most products. They don't care about your quality, they care about you hitting the numbers they want. And if you don't hit said numbers, even if you hit perfect quality every time, you'll get a manager coming to tell you to speed it up, and if you don't you'll end up without a job. I would expect that the companies that just ship through Amazon probably DO refurbish their stuff, and Amazon probably will refurbish something that is actually broken and easily fixable, but I don't see them putting a huge amount of effort into repairs. Especially when they can just send you a known working product otherwise and not have to waste the extra time. Besides, they can easily afford it.
I’ve honestly never had a bad experience with Amazon Renewed / Warehouse / Used. Just got a used Magic Keyboard for my iPad with a borked USB. Totally worth it.
So as someone who works at an Amazon warehouse returns site, warehouse deals items, like the XBOX Series X, are barely checked for cosmetic damage much less actually tested to see if they actually work. If a customer comment doesn't specifically say that it has connection problems or power problems or something along those lines, and the item looks correct and without major damage, it will probably be resold as warehouse deals.
I've bought multiple amazon renewed devices, whether they are phones, keyboards, headsets, gpus, etc. (All in excellent tier, of course) and ive haven't had a problem with any product. Like the teir suggests, it's in excellent condition.

My first smartphone that I bought was the Note 10 back in 2020. at the time a brand new one cost $1000 and I found an ALMOST NEW Note 10 that was refurbished and unlocked for $515. I bought it and it was basically a new phone. No damage, no scratches, nothing. Lasted me up until January of this year when I upgraded to the ZFlip 5 because the battery on the Note 10 was dying within half a day of light use. Great purchase but Renewed stuff can be a gamble
I got a logi Mx mechanical keyboard and Mx master 3s for half the price of new on Amazon renewed. Came with all documentation boxes cables and dongles. Batteries are holding full charge. No visible damage. Was definitely worth it.
I bought an s21+ from Amazon renewed. "Excellent" condition and it was obvious they changed the back glass and display with a damaged frame. Insane what they can get away with...
I bought an Amazon renewed 24" 165hz dell monitor for $90 a few years ago when it was selling new for $200+. I was skeptical at first when the original dell packaging came in heavily damaged and had signs of use but nonetheless the monitor looked mint. It also had an Amazon LPN sticker to indicate that it was a returned item. I'm typing up this comment on the exact monitor today with no issues.
The Renewed Premium items offer a one-year (really!) return policy and that is all I will buy refurbished. The normal "renewed" items just seem like garbage in my experience.
I have purchased an Apple series 4 watch, Galaxy watch 4 and 2 pc towers and all have worked perfectly and were in like new condition. If you can save some money, with Amazon's easy returns it's a no brainer to give refurbished a try.
I bought a 2-in-1 laptop likely formerly used by someone in an office from Amazon Renewed and aside from a dreadfully bad battery and really ancient thermal grease, both of which were easily replaceable, it was quite good I don't recommend it for normies though
the return policy is actually the main reason why i almost exclusively buy my stuff on amazon. the customer service is excellent and they do everything in their power to help you. i once bought a monitor on amazon, around 500 euros but it was not sold by amazon directly. i used the monitor maybe a day and it started to malfunction, borderline unusable. so even tho it was a bit harder with returning the item to get a new one or a refund, because the seller wouldn't do so, amazon just refunded me anyway and told me to keep the monitor as well. idk what happened to the seller but damn they do everything for their customers it seems
Just do the display reset on the the xbox series s with the buttons, i believe it should be the power and sync button. If not then all 3 buttons until the display shows. The display is most likely set to 4k 120hz, and was returned due to there monitor not being able to receive the output thus thinking they messed it up.
Amazon has been slipping across the board. I’ve been having so many issues with shipping from them. Items heavily damaged, late deliveries, items not showing up at all. Been a problem since around Christmas last year and has been on a steady decline.
The problem with Amazon renewed is, they took extremely long time to process return, typically 2 months. I have to go through credit card dispute to get money back sooner. Overall condition is good, but their price is high. Just got an iPhone 13 mini green in premium condition. A minor scratch on the screen, but battery is 100%, so I’m good with that.
I'm hesitant, but a year or two ago, I got a 6700XT for $290 before the prices dropped that low. It came in its original box and was packaged like new. That was a good deal. But I still think it's a gamble. However, with the return policy and everything, the risk isn't too crazy. It's more or less just a matter of time of having to return it if so.
Back in 2021, I got a Samsung S20 Ultra 512GB + Galaxy Buds Pro for $700 from Amazon Renewed. Practically brand new for less than half the price. Not bad.
I'm part of the lucky few who got an even more powerful pc from renewed than what was advertised. It was supposed to be a 3.30ghz and a 1tb hardrive. I got a 3.5 base ghz cpu with a 1.5 tb harddrive
Bought a Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus refurbished from Amazon. The screen was all scratched up, had some Dead pixels, and the charging port was damaged. I'll never buy electronics from Amazon every again.
My experience with Amazon renewed has been good, except for one order. I’ve ordered three products from them so far; I ordered an iPad mini 6th generation that came in like-new condition (no scratches or marks of any kind) with only some understandable battery degradation (but way above Amazon’s 80% mark). The second item I ordered was an iPhone 12 mini, and that was in terrible condition despite my ordering excellent condition. It has minor marks on the aluminum and the back looked alright, but the screen was majorly scratched up, which the seller had tried to hide under a poorly placed screen protector. I ended up sending that back and got an iPhone 13 mini instead, and I swear they sent me a brand new 13 mini, as even though I ordered the same “excellent condition”, this phone didn’t have a single mark or scratch, and the battery was even still at 100% capacity. I really feel like I lucked out on that one. My mom has also ordered a Pixel 7 renewed from Amazon and that came in very good condition, so here’s hoping the 12 mini was a fluke.
I bought an Amazon renewed apple watch ultra for just under$500 in Feb. Outside of the plain box and aftermarket charger, it was fine. Battery life was at 100%

@@belongtobill even if it's not up to standards, they have a good return policy at least
I've bought 3 renewed phones and 1 tablet and all of them were excellent almost mint. no complaints from my experience
you chose excellent condition ?
@@ZakryaThat’s the most logical thing to pick 💀
I love how the Z Flip lacking water resistance picture is literally the 3 or 4. So it has water resistance but good luck lol
that meta quest definitely got smacks on walls LOL
I got an iPhone 13 for my mom for 480 dollars, for the prices in my country was extremely cheap and it came pretty good, the battery had 100% and no damage at all just the metal ring in the camera had the paint off
My experience with a refurbished Galaxy watch 4 classic was really good until I went swimming with it 😭 the third-party seller was tryna not give me a new one because it was after the 90 day warranty from them. But thankfully I got a new one after I had to threaten them on getting Amazon involved 💀
I know a little something about Amazon renewed 😂
any renewed offers by multiple sellers across the website is automatically a red flag. just like websites like back market ect.
Listening to non-copyrighted music with earbud is crazy🤣
I bought a renewed SteelSeries Arctis Pro for almost 50% off the original price, with the caveat that the BOX was only slightly damaged and scuffed. Too good to be true. However, the product description was misleading. The device came faulty, with a non-working handset and both rechargeable batteries busted. Thankfully, being a Prime member made the return process seamless!
I've gotten Amazon renewed products before and had great luck with them
props on getting a crt on set for your old games.
amazon renewed is great in my opinion ive purchased a iphone xr for like 300 bucks for premium condition phone came in pristine condition but the charger wasnt factory and recently i purchased an iphone XS max for my father in excellent condition and it too came flawless
Amazon products no longer have those “extra built-in ads” for cheaper products. I owned one a while ago and there was an update that said “you no longer have to worry about extra ads, enjoy!” 😅
Never is. As long as you go with good to like new graded products. Most of the time the box is jacked up and they discount it
Joanna in the background claiming difficulty 2 is not difficult, then quickly proceeds to backtrack her statement 😂
that's Joanna, not Kinsey
I bought a refurbished razer viper v2 pro and have had zero issues with it almost 2 years later. It didn't come in a razer box but instead a amazon renewed carboard box.
I got an "excellent" Galaxy s22 refurbished and there was significant specs and scratches all around the side of the phone. I'm not to butt hurt about it since it's just cosmetic, especially since I'll just put a case over it anyway, but for it being "excellent" that's not great!
This man has to own at least 100 ps2s by now
And 40 z flips lol
and 100 xbox
He probably either sends them back, or resells. Although everything he buys is just a tax write off for business. So, they can just throw away hundreds of dollars.
They are just customers returns! Open box stuff.
You could say the same about eBay. At least with Amazon the returns process is simple and usually free. If you're not happy just send it back.
Pretty sure that Xbox was swapped by a customer and returned.
I've bought a renewed Surface Pro for $800 ($1200 MSRP), haven't had any issues at all and was in brand new condition, not even a scratch.
Saved me over $200
With all this renewed stuff Austin buys, he can make his own renewed tech marketplace
As someone who works at amazon, I'm surprised that anything arrived not broken, Those machines are not soft
My monitor came from Warehouse and its fine- just the model itself was faulty, my colleague also had one With similar minor issue^^
I purchased all preowned from amazon and I have had no trouble you need to be smart with your money and not smart with technology 😊
litreally every amazon renewed products have a 3-2 stars review and it isnt worth it its just like 30 dollars cheaper.
The fire tablet was solid, maybe 6 years ago. I remember I put the play store on my moms, but she switched to a Samsung tablet a couple of years ago, and that thing is miles ahead of the fire tablet.
16:10 Austin managed to say like more times then i could count.
The Samsung Watch I bought on your livestream was Amazon refurb and it was mint. ❤
Crazy how a $55 Tablet has a mic that's better than laptops 10-40x its price.
I bought a 2-in-1 laptop likely formerly used by someone in an office from Amazon Renewed and aside from a dreadfully bad battery and really ancient thermal grease, both of which were easily replaceable, it was quite good
I don't recommend it for normies though
Send me your extra Zflip! Haha... love the videos as always
the return policy is actually the main reason why i almost exclusively buy my stuff on amazon. the customer service is excellent and they do everything in their power to help you. i once bought a monitor on amazon, around 500 euros but it was not sold by amazon directly. i used the monitor maybe a day and it started to malfunction, borderline unusable. so even tho it was a bit harder with returning the item to get a new one or a refund, because the seller wouldn't do so, amazon just refunded me anyway and told me to keep the monitor as well. idk what happened to the seller but damn they do everything for their customers it seems
Just do the display reset on the the xbox series s with the buttons, i believe it should be the power and sync button. If not then all 3 buttons until the display shows. The display is most likely set to 4k 120hz, and was returned due to there monitor not being able to receive the output thus thinking they messed it up.
my biggest gripe is the renewed vs new price a lot of times is not much different than the full price of a new item
Amazon has been slipping across the board. I’ve been having so many issues with shipping from them. Items heavily damaged, late deliveries, items not showing up at all. Been a problem since around Christmas last year and has been on a steady decline.
You sniff earbuds, but someone elses face being on a VR Headset is where you draw the line.
At this point I think Austin owns more z flips than samsung
I'm hesitant, but a year or two ago, I got a 6700XT for $290 before the prices dropped that low. It came in its original box and was packaged like new. That was a good deal. But I still think it's a gamble. However, with the return policy and everything, the risk isn't too crazy. It's more or less just a matter of time of having to return it if so.
Back in 2021, I got a Samsung S20 Ultra 512GB + Galaxy Buds Pro for $700 from Amazon Renewed. Practically brand new for less than half the price. Not bad.
I buy Amazon Renewed all the time. No issues so far.
@@Zakryathat’s the most logical thing to pick 💀
Battery life was at 100%
What happens to all the tech after you buy it? Do you return everything or does it go to people or do you just have ten z flips and ps2s lying around? Genuinely curious
But do you know what WONT have what you're looking for from A to Z?

Renewed earphones is crazy 😂😂
ive purchased Renewed items from amazon and always got them as new but also depends on the seller. sold and shipped by amazon you will always get it with its original packaging in as new
I recently got a paired of Amazon renewed AirPod Maxs…. They were SUPER corroded and were returned within weeks. I was soooo disappointed. The outside and everything looked great, but the second I took it apart I realized that they sent me an almost broken product. Shame shame shame.
Oled pixels burnout, they dont burn in. I really wish people would stop saying this.
I've had pretty good experience through Amazon renewed, the big thing being the 30 day return policy by Amazon themselves whether it's a third party seller or not. I've bought from ebay too, it's really just the seller. As is anything refurbished, it depends on the person, you either get Hugh Jeffreys or some dude with a hot glue gun and a dream....for a quick buck.
bought a 15' m2 macbook from the warehouse, box came little rough charger opened
laptop was super clean had one charge cycle in it , saved abt 200$ from the new one
Dear editor, the Bezos water bottle was hilarious!
I have bought a few amazon renewed products and I've found quality is all over the place. The reason for this is the 3rd party refurbished sellers that all have different standards. FWIW though, any time i had an issue i had no problems getting a refund or exchange, so there's that.
I have always been told to be wary of buying TVs “renewed” because you dont know if its the original panel, would be interested to see a video on those
I am buying almost everything refurbed or warehouse deals. You have to watch out that it is coming from Amazon and not some third party.
No it is not - I've ordered several smartphones along with Bluetooth speakers and tablets as Amazon Renewed items, and all of them have been virtually brand new.
I just yesterday received a Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra that was refurbished excellent from Amazon and this thing is effectively brand new (like 9.8/10 new) 👍
I've actually gotten a few things from Amazon renewed and I'm very satisfied. I have a first generation surface book that I got from Amazon renewed for $650 about 5 years ago. I still use it today And I have no issues with it. When I got it it had no .nicks are scratches. It was as if it was new. In my current daily driver cell phone is a Samsung Galaxy fold 3 that I got from Amazon renewed for $430. It seemed to be a new condition, The battery was as it normally should be.
