As someone who used to buy, fix, flip devices on eBay, mystery boxes are kind of profiting on a special type of buyer. It's the kind of buyers who like taking risks, or gambling. If the S21 is SIM unlocked, it'll switch carrier firmwares to match your SIM card. Alternatively, you can simply flash the US Unlocked firmware (same model number, but ending in "U1" instead of "U"). it is a synonym/alternate version for snicker but not one that people really use and this is why lmao. definitely a real word you can find in the dictionary but yeah... odd choice
The triple-charger box was by far the funniest out of the whole lot! Especially since it came right after your complaints about all the prior chargers! But yeah, this sort of thing is typical with "mystery item" things for the most part because they are essentially trying to get rid of stuff they or someone else otherwise can't sell and/or they bought it dirt cheap. They often state the value is at or higher than what you pay, but that's only if you go by what "they" value them as. So they certainly aren't going to give you a way to compare their prices to others. Assuming you are even given a list of the possible items you will get before buying them because oftentimes these mystery things give little to no insight as to what you can get.
So what we’ve learned today boss and girls is that…. You’ll get your fill of chargers from this company AND none of the accessories comes charged…not even a little bit😂
Unlocking a phone through AT&T is a horrible chore. They tell you that you need to access your AT&T account online to request it be unlocked, usually this can't be done after you terminate your service.
Yeah plug tech is not good, last time I saw in one of their tiktoks videos was they were using a tooth brush with like a soapy liquid and brushing heavily on the keyboard. Sure you'll get a clean keyboard in the expensive of liquid dripping through the keyboard and damaging the motherboard.
I ordered a MacBook from Plug tech in excellent condition and the screen had a huge bubble underneath but I was able to send it back and a replacement should be coming later this week hopefully. So far from what I have experienced their customer support is on it when it comes to product replacements / refunds.
I'm not a battery expert, but from the looks of it, what that Macbook has is just a lot of cells of different shapes stacked up. As long as they're the same capacitance and voltage, it really doesn't matter what shape a battery is.
Also, that one USB port on the 12" MacBook is prone to failure. It will just give up and then you have a 12" paperweight. Take it from a repair tech, they're never worth the money.
I honestly had no problem with them. I ordered 2 iPhone 12s and an iPhone 7 from them all good with good battery life. My mother recently bought something from there too but I forgot what. Mystery boxes I would never order from anywhere tho lol
the reason most of your items are dead is because its safest to ship lithium ion batteries with no charge in them so they dont run the risk of exploding/catching on fire while in the shipping process
This is incorrect. Lipos are safest to ship at a storage charge. The longer a lipo is at zero charge, the worse it is for the long term health of the battery.

All 3 of my phones had over 85% battery health and 1 was in eco friendly. Fun Fact: Eco-Friendly isn’t even that bad at all, it’s practically good condition most of the time.
Austin seeing how I’m still watching UA-cam with original iPad mini that no longer updates and takes about 4 seconds before the keyboard actually writes anything the 2019 iPad seems like a killer deal
To be fair those beats new are pretty good, they usually go for $160 if you just wait for best buys once a month “3 day sale” $200 msrp is unrealistic.

(after he says "Go to box number three")
wait why does it say the n word???
it is a synonym/alternate version for snicker but not one that people really use and this is why lmao. definitely a real word you can find in the dictionary but yeah...
I have a 21+ so I'd say that's pretty cool that they gave you that
I ordered a MacBook from Plug tech in excellent condition and the screen had a huge bubble underneath but I was able to send it back and a replacement should be coming later this week hopefully. So far from what I have experienced their customer support is on it when it comes to product replacements / refunds.
Update on this since I forgot: I got my replacement in another color but everything is working great!
Thank you for the update
I'm not a battery expert, but from the looks of it, what that Macbook has is just a lot of cells of different shapes stacked up. As long as they're the same capacitance and voltage, it really doesn't matter what shape a battery is.
you look like finland's new president
The look when he had 3 chargers in the mystery box was so great! Lmao
Also, that one USB port on the 12" MacBook is prone to failure. It will just give up and then you have a 12" paperweight. Take it from a repair tech, they're never worth the money.
4:08 these headphones are actually really good
Had some older models back in the days when I worked for a smartphone-shop here in Germany
So nothing was actually worth it 😂
Apart from the like 1 mystery box, sure, buying the products directly seems like the way to go.
Dude glitched out on that charger box 😂😂
He needs to leave a low star rating on their site to ruin all those 5 star ratings 😁
All dead charges 😂.Never buy mystery boxes. They will always be disappointing.
S20 and s21 do NOT look the same
There's nothing wrong with scratches if it's actually not broken, but dents could indicate more damaged internals
I honestly had no problem with them. I ordered 2 iPhone 12s and an iPhone 7 from them all good with good battery life. My mother recently bought something from there too but I forgot what. Mystery boxes I would never order from anywhere tho lol
Thank you for shopping with us! We appreciate your support! 🔌
@@PlugBetterTech 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same.
@@PlugBetterTech💀😭 Yall insanely good at trolling icl
the reason most of your items are dead is because its safest to ship lithium ion batteries with no charge in them so they dont run the risk of exploding/catching on fire while in the shipping process
This is incorrect. Lipos are safest to ship at a storage charge. The longer a lipo is at zero charge, the worse it is for the long term health of the battery.
I liked the MacBook 12in but I did regret buying it over the Pro. I used it as my daily driver for probably 3 or 4 years before I replaced it
the s20 and s21 dont really look the same at all from the back
This is the best episode I seen yet sir!! The 3 charger box got me
Hey Austin, thank you for your feedback and constructive criticism, it’s sparked an internal conversation on how we can produce a better mystery box experience. We’re honored to be featured in your content.
Dang it’s the company
ITS THEM
Welp
I totally get what is meant by "eco-friendly:" you're recycling a piece of tech that would otherwise go into a landfill. Pretty straight forward to me
I’ve bought 3 Phone within the past 2 years from them. Yall always tryna bring them down when they are better than Back market. All 3 of my phones had over 85% battery health and 1 was in eco friendly. Fun Fact: Eco-Friendly isn’t even that bad at all, it’s practically good condition most of the time.
3 phones in 2 years is kinda a bad sign lmao
@@petie027 i didn’t buy them bc they broke after
i bought them for separate purposes and they’re all fine rn
@@petie027 LOL this. I've owned one phone in the last 5 years.
@@krypticsz4154 that’s a hell of a phone right there lol. I’m on year 3 of mine but imma upgrade soon
They have good phones. Just spend a little more.
that mouse is wilddddddddd
Right off the bat you had criticism before buying, your review seems disingenuous
Austin seeing how I’m still watching UA-cam with original iPad mini that no longer updates and takes about 4 seconds before the keyboard actually writes anything the 2019 iPad seems like a killer deal
S20 and S21 don't look the same 🙄
To be fair those beats new are pretty good, they usually go for $160 if you just wait for best buys once a month “3 day sale” $200 msrp is unrealistic.
They really need to bring back a thin flex Macbook with OLED and M3/M4
