exactly! the first bags base wasnt even 1/2 filled, but just enough to tell something was in it. hmmm fight camp base full, other bag less than 1/2 full
The grunting though 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 sounded like a duck, didn't look like any real hard hits on the fight camp.bag though 😬 ....Edit: this isn't a bash on the product... just saying would have been nice to see some real hard punches rather than speed
Seems this is sponsored by fightcamp bag, the kick boxer guy did not put all his force into those kicks like he did on the first two bags ✌️ could see it a mile off
They were definitely taking it easier on the fight camp but considering how much it costs, it’s definitely better made and designed than the other bags with weight, balance, and structure
Looks like you didn’t fill the Everlast bag with sand, or anything. This is a biased “review”. A youtube channel called FightCamp chose the FightCamp bag as the best, lol.
Tommy Duquette i dont doubt fightcamp is a better bag but the Everlast powercore bag can hold 370 pounds of sand, if you filled it with sand theres no way those small guys you used for the vid would knock it over that easily.
@@K0NY718 I filled that bag to the top with sand. It didn't hold 370 lbs that's for sure. You might have it mistaken for another free standing bag in this case.
The red Everlast looks like a rebranded Century Wavemaster, which if filled all the way with sand should be almost 300 lbs. There's no way the 3rd one with 350 lbs of sand was impossible to knock over, while the red one went flying. Its base had to have been empty. 🤷👎
@@dirkdiggler2379 I recommend the dripex bag if you’re on a super tight budget. It costs around 150, and while it’s not easy to move it’s still a good bag. If you can afford to spend 200 more dollars then I recommend the century wavemaster xxl. That one is easier to setup, easier to move, and it’s design allows more room for kicks than the dripex bag does
I got the everlast bag and if you fill it up with water and put it against the wall it’s perfect it doesn’t move that much cause of the wall and plus it’s like 1,100 bucks cheaper than the one their demonstrating which at that point it’s probably better just to buy a hanging punching bag this item is only for like rich people
It would be better to see a fair test done on all 3. Don’t get me wrong the fight camp one does look a lot sturdier but when you’ve got the other two right next to the edge of the stage on purpose so they go over seems a bit unfair when the fight camp ones on the other side of the stage and they were going all out on the other two with a fight camp one you could see they were hardly punching or kicking it. Which I don’t really understand because honestly I can’t see that fight come on going over even if they did go all out on it ha ha. It looks sturdy as hell But without doing a fair test you have to wonder. Is there any chance you would do another test And have all three in the same place and have the punches and kicks at the same velocity?
For the century bag. If you are just solely using it for stand up combat I recommend tying it to a ceiling or a beam with maybe Bungie cords and when you punch it whips back at you. Great for mastering footwork and knowing when to hit, it’s kind of like fighting a person.
I agree, I use it for taekwondo and to work on my form. I tied mine from the handles to the ceiling beam.. not a bag to kill or go all out on but great for strikes ,punches and kicking and to perfect your style... got a heavy bag to step it up so I switch out on them.
Nice video. Pro tip here for folks too poor to buy the $1000 fight camp bag, buy the cheap Century bag and fill the base with sand NOT water. You can get 60 lb bags of sand for $5 each. I fit 180lbs of sand into my base and it barely budges. I am 260 lb 6’2”
So, this is an ad dressed up as a review, they dog on century bags but then explain that their bag is made by century and “they make the best bags in the industry”. Go get a wave master XXL
Everlast bag was obviously empty or barely filled with water or sand. Completely not a review, just a commercial for the Fight Bag which is literally the same as some of the ones century sells. The Versy Century one they showed on this review already comes with sand in it and is actually a great work out bag, it even bounces bag so you have to get out of the way. Bottom line, this was completely bias... reminds me of the Newschannels lately.:-/ Any of these 3 bags hold up well.
Better comparison is Century WaveMaker XXL or new Torrent free standing bags. Fill with 300lbs of sand or water. Bags have proper file and don't get soft. Vinyl is durable, not cheap. Add heavy duty grip tape on bottom then place on exercise mat so it does not slide. $399, but I found a used like new one for $35 on OfferUp. Instruction: I use the Beachbody "Core de Force - MMA" video set.
So ultimately yeah, they both held their punches and kicks. If that's a professional kickboxers' kick I'd knock him the f out. However, I did notice the base of the fight camp bag didn't move at all compared to the others. It actually looks pretty solid, but I'd never but it now watching how bias this "stress" test was.
Been a member for a couple years. I already had a bag and gloves so initially just bought the wraps and trackers. How do you buy the bag just by itself? Can’t find it on the site.
These guys are barely touching the last one, so it would probably fall off easily, also the other bags aren’t filled with sand or water to make them look bad.
The guy in the red shirt walked away from the bag like it was a murder scene but all he did was nudge it off the platform they’re standing, making it fall more dramatically 😂
This is number one bullshit - Khabib Y’all obviously didn’t fill the everlast bag with sand/water. And if you did, it was like 4 pounds of sand. The last bag is the name of literally the UA-cam channel. Reading some comments people say they’re pulling their punches/kicks at the end. I think they aren’t and that they actually set this bag up properly unlike the other two. Overall, I want my 5 minutes and 32 seconds back.
The punches were hardly bending the material on the fight camp bag , for most , seemed like when they did get too much into it and the bag slid, they backed off again !! They should have had the bottom weights on the other two for sure !! Test = FAIL !!
I've had the Fight Camp bag without the base for a year. I don't have the power these guys do but I cannot knock this thing over and have a hard time believing I ever could. It will rock and slide if you give it full power (and damage your floor without a mat, I probably should get that base, but I gave up on the security deposit after I got a dog lol) but if you're throwing punches/kicks it's not going down. Is it the best heavy bag? Hell if I know. Could you do better? Probably? It's the one they sent me and I got no complaints, it's great for an apartment (might wanna get that base though), and I don't feel ripped off.
The Century fightbag DOES in fact suck if you're looking for a workout. You can get a great cardio workout by punching it and hitting it when it swings back, creating a little timing rhythm, but it'll eventually start sagging as the foam becomes squished down or the bag stretches, and then its worthless again. Just because you can do a dozen things with it doesn't mean it does any of those things well...
which one to get an 80lbs or 100 lbs? 5ft or 6ft to hung it in my 8ft ceiling garage? I will be using it for boxing and muay thai too.
