I focus on power with the freestanding bag at home and then tenchnique/form on the hanging bag at the gym. With the freestanding bag, I can punch it harder without the risk of breaking my wrist, like when the hanging bag swings
great video bro…. exzactly what I was looking for… perfect… I love the old school hanging bag but I might end up getting the free standing…. thanks !! following you now 👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Hey there, I recently saw a heavy bag demo in Albuquerque with SparTech Fitness. You should definitely review them and share with us your opinion. I can DM you the guys info if you like too.
I like the freestanding bag, but I've got 300lbs of sand in the base, and it still moves too much. I've got the ring, I've even tried commercial Velcro. What else can I do to keep the bag stationary?

What about the hanging bag in the attached garage? Would it still vibrate throughout the house? Thanks.

Have you filled it the base with sand + water?
if you avoid hitting it it will be stationary
Is it hard to remove the sand from the base?
Interesting!😃
Yep ! I does shake the entire house if you hang it in your basement
