I literally fell in love with my husband listening to this song. It came on the jukebox and he asked my to dance. He sang this song in my ear the whole time. We've been together 36 years. 🥰
I literally got a visual of a couple dancing and your man whispering these lyrics. Gave me goosies!! Beautiful story and congrats on 36 years together! ✌🏼❤️
Frampton Comes Alive is such an epic album. Three huge hits, and you've covered two of them now. Only "Show Me the Way" left. You'll love it. He's from England.
The look on your faces when a song clicks … Asia’s million dollar smile and BJs “oh yeah” look …makes my day. Cheers to both of you from rainy New England.
One of the most sincere and respected artists in any generation., Frampton has had such a varied career. This great British guitarist who played with many rock legends finally hit it huge with one of the biggest selling albums of all time in the mid 70s. His singing is underrated, but not his guitar playing. Go with the other suggestions for other songs , loved your reaction
Peter Frampton has long been considered one of the nicest artists. I saw him in concert after his next album. In the rafters behind the stage. Still great.
The reason why it sounds so different is because (correction edit) Big Mountain did a cover of this and THAT'S what's used in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. I'll take Frampton 24/7 - 365 every time.
My dad said that this album, Frampton Comes Alive was THE SHIT when he was in highschool and all the other guitar players had to learn these songs to serenade the ladies!.. RIP Dad.
My dad was just out of highschool when this album came out, he introduced it to me when I was little, my father is still alive and I am sorry for your loss. RIP your dad.
It’s worth seeing Peter singing this live. A good part of his performances come from the sheer joy and passion he takes in sharing his music and guitar playing ❤
Asia & BJ, you hit the bullseye with Peter Frampton!!! His poster was on my wall. I love him!!! Asia, I loved the look on your face while you listened to the song. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL my friend!!! LadyGator1983🐊🐊🐊
Frampton comes alive was the album in 1976 and for a long time afterwards! Soo many songs you need to listen to, saw him a couple years ago and he was smiling away while he sang and played, by the way, his playing is right up there with the greats! He’s from England but lives in the states. A great guy and all around musician! Frampton comes alive was up there with a few that sold the most albums ever!! Great music!
Peter Frampton was very popular back in the day.................. Live album was No. 1 for 6 weeks......this song was No.1 for 4 weeks...he was on all the airwaves!!!!
100% agreed!! I seen this concert in 1982 in Fresno, California at the Selland Arena!! Was such a great concert, and this was my second time seeing Peter Frampton ❤️❤️
Let me also add, that the first time seeing Peter Frampton in concert he had that beautiful long hair, the second time I saw him, he had cut off all of his hair 😭 lol 😊😊💛💛💛
If i knew Peter Frampton was doing his farewell tour i wouldve tried to go. I waa born in the 60's so i went crazy when his Live album came out with a big poster of him!! Lets keep him in his prayers that he will be healed from that disease he was diagnosed with. I love seeing the young people enjoying my era of music!! ❤️❤️
Awwwwwww great reaction you two love birds. A Peter Frampton jam for all the 80's teenagers at a gym dance.... Oh Yeah!!! Another great reaction tune is Jefferson Starships " Miracles"
Frampton is a 70s iconic superstar who genuinely loves what he does and still rocks hard to this very day. A very talented artist and a genuinely good person.
THE album Frampton Comes Alive was a big thing. I remember certain songs from the album playing constantly on the radio. I was about 10 1/2 yrs. old. Another popular song was "Show Me The Way"
I really love that you are reacting to some Peter Frampton. (he is from England) I have some odd favourites but you may want to check out his work with Humble Pie, and solo "It's a plain shame" "I can't take it no more" and "putting my heart on the line" All the best to you from here in Canada,
Great old Frampton tune... brings back so many memories. He is originally from England and speaks with a slight accent. This tune was a radio staple for the entire decade of the 70s. I used to play this on my guitar myself. Very nice electric organ in this piece.
This is from Frampton Comes Alive. Frampton is one of the greatest natural guitarists ever. Buy the lp, NOW. And then Humble Pie- Rockin' The Filmore. It's all Frampton and Steve Marriot another great from my past.
A huge selling live album, in fact the biggest live album with a great production. Thousands of young women swooned over Pete with his voice, looks and golden locks!😀👍🏻☮️
Peter Frampton began in the hard rock band Humble Pie. He left in part because he wanted to express a softer side. He remained friends with Humble Pie founder Steve Marriott who collaborated with him on some of his solo projects.
Wonderful memories of Grade 10, my first real boyfriend and driving around listening to Frampton Live. EVERYONE, LITERALLY EVERYONE had this album/cassette and was playing it in cars. SUPER talented man. Actually brilliant and ahead of his time. We had never heard any thing like his album! 🇨🇦
I am the same age, as Peter, next week, and also was born and raised in the same part of South East London as Peter and his mate: David Bowie and many others. His Dad taught them both at Art School near Beckenham:)
I wish you guys could experience the music the way we did, it was completely different than today. Raw talent of all genres on the radio, listening to full albums & seeing them live!! If you could only imagine how HUGE this album & these songs were would make you appreciate them even more. And Bob Mayo playing the keys, backup vocals, they were a force
This is Peter Frampton’s song. There have been other covers, which are terrible. I had the biggest crush on Peter when I was 14, back in the 70’s. I saw him in concert on my 14th birthday. My boyfriend surprised me with a Peter Frampton concert. A special memory that has stayed with me. Asia & BJ, thank you for reacting to this song.
Frampton comes alive album that made him millions has nothing but great songs. 30 days in the hole is some great guitar playing he did with humble pie before going solo.
His song 'Lines on my face" on the live album really shows his talent for song writing and the guitar work which synchronizes perfectly. This is my favorite from the live album. Check it out.
Everyone sings about brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes, but he's the only artist I've ever heard sing of hazel eyes--"I can see the sunset in your eyes, brown and gray, and blue besides..."
I lost my wife when we were 37 years old. She was absolutely beautiful in every way. The relationship we had was simply amazing. We never woke up mad. It was the best 7 years of my life and I'm 68 years old now. I could recapture that happiness again but when I see you guys it definitely brings back the great memories we once had. Thank you and hope you keep going. It's magical !
Yeah, the band was asking the crowd if they felt as good listening to the song as they were playing it. And this is a great one, too...I LOVE you guys loving the old music.
Honestly to do Peter Frampton reactions I suggest listening to the whole album would be the best way. I do appreciate the fact that you guys have a good perception of the messages and meanings. KEEP IT GOING 💯
I was raised on this song and I'm 55 years old now. I remember the very first time I heard this. My older brother had brought this live album home one day and it changed my life. And to see you both rockin' out to this just puts me back to that very moment. I used to DJ in a dancer bar in college back in 1989. These 2 tracks you covered were some of the more requested songs by the dancers. Right along with other tunes such as Whip Appeal by Babyface and Atomic Dog.. The Great George Clinton!
I am so proud that you are branching out and sharing these classics. Today's music does not compare. We need to expose our children to it. That is true love making music to the right woman who loves you.
So funny cause I had a HUGE crush on him in the late 70's and didn't realize he was my Dad's age!! Lol! Still love him and brings back great memories ❤️
You have good taste as I am the same age, as Peter, next week, and also was born and raised in the same part of South East London as Peter and his mate: David Bowie and many others. His Dad taught them both at Art School near Beckenham:)
@@Isleofskye Thank you sweetheart! That's incredible! I'm an aspiring visual artist wishing I had musical talent. At least I can enjoy their music as it has been my lifeline over the years! Bowie scared me a little as a kid but did not detour me from loving his music as well! Very interesting! Thank you for replying ❤️
You guys should really check out The Doobie Brothers, with special guest Peter Frampton doing a cover of an Eric Clapton song "Lei It Rain". It's a CLASSIC!
This song was written for his then girlfriend from the heart, love your reactions to Peters music. You should look up his Winterland concert absolutely awesome, he's from England and was one of the original members of Humble Pie another fantastic band
Check out "Show me the Way," he wrote both "Baby, I Love Your Way" and this one within the same day. Both songs were hits for him. Baby, I love your way has been covered multiple times (51 or more versions). You might be familiar with the reggae version by Big Mountain (1994) or the Will to Power version from (1988) that combines it with the Lynyrd Skynyrd song Freebird. It was even covered by Diana Ross (1983).
Peter Frampton and David Bowie were in the same year at their school in South London and were friends then. Peter toured with Bowie in the early 80's. I think he might have been better off not being quite so pretty and charismatic, he is an amazing player. Humble Pie is a great band to look into before he went solo.
I think everyone had the Peter Frampton Comes Alive album back then...I know that I wore mine out...One of the best selling records in the day and still popular..I just love Frampton!
Check out "'I'm in You" for a Frampton vocal showcase...Peter's such a good chap ---someone else might've mentioned that he hails from Bromley in southeast London, where he went to high school a couple of years behind none other than David Bowie, who was taught visual arts there by Peter's dear old dad Also worthwhile: Frampton & Bowie's live vocal duet on Dave's "Sons of the Silent Age" from his 1987 world tour ---with Pete, his career mired in a slump at the time, hired on as featured guest guitarist (and he lives in Nashville nowadays)
From a black who grew up back then I brought two albums of his .it was a double album. The whole album was great all of his songs . When the Comes Alive album came out it was 1976. I was a freshman in high school. It was a big hit
Born in Beckenham Kent UK. Formed in 1969 with Steve Marriott what at the time was called the first supergroup, Humble Pie. They became more popular in the US than the UK and toured the States relentlessly. Left in 1971 to go solo. Fabulous live album came out around that time from Humble Pie, Rockin the Fillmore.
"Show Me The Way" is another great one. "Lines In My Face" is another not so well known of his in my opinion. He has that great concert in the park voice. Nice surprise for her BJ. Don't forget to get your tickets for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness if yall into it. Happy Star Wars Eve! May the 4th be with you!
A song that should best be remembered for the surprise performance by Frampton, at the end of a Family Guy episode. Great romantic moment for Peter & Lois.
Check out the stats of this album. It was so big he couldn't successfully release anything else. This album was the most recognized cover of the decade. It was the joint rolling platform, universally used by EVERYBODY.
Ok, guys. It's time for Peter Frampton to bring more love to you. The song is I'M IN YOU. And in case you want to look at his early work check out the group Humble Pie. The song is NATURAL BORN WOMAN. He isn't the lead but shares the vocals with Greg Ridley and the incomparable Steve Marriott.

Frampton Comes Alive is such an epic album. Three huge hits, and you've covered two of them now. Only "Show Me the Way" left. You'll love it. He's from England.
He sure looks different with no hair I remember back when this song came out his beautiful locks of hair
@@earlconnerley5749
For sure the younger version
.....or the best song on the album, the underrated 'Lines on my face' BTW went to the same school as David Bowie in Beckenham.
If you lived in the suburbs you were issued it.
Let's not forget all I want to be is by your side
The look on your faces when a song clicks … Asia’s million dollar smile and BJs “oh yeah” look …makes my day. Cheers to both of you from rainy New England.
Totally agree. They really understand the music and lyrics.
Peter Frampton sang to the ladies. All of the words we wanted to hear wrapped up in that beautiful voice.
Don't be fooled by that voice. Peter Frampton is an amazing guitarist that brought jazz influence to Rock and Roll.
One of the most sincere and respected artists in any generation., Frampton has had such a varied career. It's Big Mountain, not UB40
UB40 actually didn't cover this, it was Big Mountain.
I saw him in 2019 on his farewell tour and at 69 yrs of age, he still sounded the same. Great performance both vocally and guitar.
My dad said that this album, Frampton Comes Alive was THE SHIT when he was in highschool and all the other guitar players had to learn these songs to serenade the ladies!.. RIP Dad.
INDEED!
I saw Frampton live in '76 on his "Frampton Comes Alive" tour in a stadium w/ prolly 50 thousand fans! Simply AWESOME!
Your dad was spot on.
Your Dad was spot on!!!!
My dad was just out of highschool when this album came out, he introduced it to me when I was little, my father is still alive and I am sorry for your loss. RIP your dad.
True! I was a senior in high school when Frampton Comes Alive came out. It was everywhere!
Such a beautiful song. Frampton is a great artist.
Had Frampton Poster on my wall with his long blonde curly locks, and was in love. One of the best guitarist! He still has his charm. ❤
Me too!
Ditto
You should watch Peter Frampton’s live performance of this song. Pure joy!
It’s worth seeing Peter singing this live. A good part of his performances come from the sheer joy and passion he takes in sharing his music and guitar playing ❤

Asia & BJ, you'll love his "Show Me The Way"!!!, best from 'Frampton Comes Alive' album. (live)

100% agreed!! I seen this concert in 1982 in Fresno, California at the Selland Arena!! Was such a great concert, and this was my second time seeing Peter Frampton ❤️❤️
I prefer "Doobie Wah"
Let me also add, that the first time seeing Peter Frampton in concert he had that beautiful long hair, the second time I saw him, he had cut off all of his hair 😭 lol 😊😊💛💛💛

I wish it was live.. love Peter Frampton
That was from Frampton comes Alive.
“Im In You “. A great under rated song of his. I’m sure you would enjoy.
White Sugar is an underrated belter from Mr Frampton.
I really love that you are reacting to some Peter Frampton. (he is from England) I have some odd favourites but you may want to check out his work with Humble Pie, and solo "It's a plain shame" "I can't take it no more" and "putting my heart on the line" All the best to you from here in Canada,

Not a fan of the studio version, but the live version is magical.
I love the studio one. Because of the electric guitar. Hard to find on streaming services though
I agree

Peter was born in the UK. Wikepedia lists him as both an English and American artist. Always loved his voice and music!

Truth be told a lot of today's artists are covering our generations hits(60's and 70's) because those hits are just that immensely gooooooooooood!
He's from England, that might be why you hear an accent. I love his music!!
Thx y’all! He was in the band called Humble Pie. You can hear him singing background on “I don’t need no doctor!”
Peter is from Bromley near London England, he Rocks🎸🤗🧚🏽♂️
I am the same age, as Peter, next week, and also was born and raised in the same part of South East London as Peter and his mate: David Bowie and many others.

This song is another one that gets better with age. I find myself saying that more and more about the music from the 70's and 80's.
Don’t forget that Peter Frampton came from the band Humble Pie. He knows how to rock for real.
In 2007, Peter did a PBS Chicago Soundstage Special. The whole concert is " magical ". If you get the time to view it, you will love it.
His song 'Lines on my face" on the live album really shows his talent for song writing and the guitar work which synchronizes perfectly. This is my favorite from the live album. Check it out.
My favorite from him- I had it on the old 45 record!!!😊
You should watch the live version of this. The girls were literally weeping, gazing up at him, lol!
I saw him live in 1974, third row center stage, one of the best concerts ever. Peter now lives outside Cincinnati Ohio.
Everyone sings about brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes, but he's the only artist I've ever heard sing of hazel eyes--"I can see the sunset in your eyes, brown and gray, and blue besides..."
If you enjoyed the song, the cover done by Big Mountain is also excellent. Peter Frampton is from the UK.
That was a nice feel good song back in the day!
I lost my wife when we were 37 years old. She was absolutely beautiful in every way. The relationship we had was simply amazing. We never woke up mad. I luckily got to see Frampton in concert for his Farewell tour a few years ago & let me tell you, his voice has not changed at all.
I remember driving around on a summer night with my new license, playing this 8-track
Great song and one of the best live albums ever released, I saw Frampton with the group YES in 1976

This will always be a great summer song. Thanks Pete!
Frampton Comes Alive, awesome album, a must have album yeah 🤘😆👍🎤🎸🎸
This song is so great and being recorded live in front of a audience, you don't find that kind of artistry anymore
1976 was THE year of Frampton
This was a Huge album
Made him a star

Peter Frampton is originally from England, but he's lived in the US for a while now-- California, Ohio, and now in Nashville.
He was so huge!!
Love this song. He had a lot of great ones. I looked it up and he was born in the UK.
Yes, he’s definitely British (English, specifically). He only applied for American citizenship in the early 2,000s.
He was also a schoolmate of David Bowie. They were besties.
Check out "'I'm in You" for a Frampton vocal showcase...Peter's such a good chap ---someone else might've mentioned that he hails from Bromley in southeast London, where he went to high school a couple of years behind none other than David Bowie, who was taught visual arts there by Peter's dear old dad

There were a lot of good albums in 1976. Frampton Comes Alive was the #1 selling album that year and was the # 1 selling album for 10 weeks.
Another great Frampton song. Would have liked to seen the live version.
A song that should best be remembered for the surprise performance by Frampton, at the end of a Family Guy episode. Great romantic moment for Peter & Lois.
iM 55 been playing drums since I was 8 so cool to see how music puts a smile on Asia's face! I Love it!
A group called " Will to Power " also sings this with a freebiyrd melody in the middle. Very nice
Frampton is great
Those lyrics are what i call Waxing poetically. Great song brings back memories of the 70's. Great choice again, thanks
