- My ridiculous soft plastic fishing lure collection. It's safe to say that I have a lot of soft plastics, arguably too many, but like all fisherman can agree, it's probably impossible to truly have too many of a particular thing.
I have spent years building up this collection, and it certainly wasn't an overnight acquisition. As the saying goes, great things take time, and even Rome wasn't built in a day. My fascination lies in gathering the most cutting-edge and exceptional soft plastic lures, subjecting them to rigorous tests against my favorite fish species.
Whether it's the ZMan, Kietech, Zerek, Squidges, Bait Junkies, Irukandji, ProLure, Berkley, Lunker City, Silstar, or Storm soft plastics, each one holds a special place in my heart and in my collection. I hope you've enjoyed taking a glimpse into my haul while I reorganised my collection!

Hahaha yeah it's quite the collection, been adding to it for so long now, can't believe what it's come to though haha! I am so excited for Flathead fishing, will hopefully be back chasing and filming the flattys next week should everything go to plan! Still have a few more uni assignments to tick off, but I'm almost there!!

I haven't tried them yet, but definitely want to try some soon! The imposter looks amazing, especially in the 'yabbie' colour. I'm heading up to Noosa later this summer and I imagine they would work really well in the river! I'm so excited for summer too! What do u think are good lures for flatty other than paddle tails
Curly Tailz zmans, jerk shads, missing at sea death tail and sluggos are all really good! Hope this helps :)

Not sure if you're allowed to fish here or not, but you could try off the end of the rock wall near the life saving club, looks pretty good on google maps and looks like there some deeper water there. I have never been though and don't know if it's safe or good to fish there, but I just looked around on google maps and it looks pretty decent. So be safe if you try it and maybe go with someone just incase! But my only tip is to use burley! The bay is a big area, but good thing is that this time of year the snapper are everywhere. So burley up and you never know what'll happen! Good luck, hope you can find some :))

Do you use fluorocarbon leader? Could make a difference in clear water
@@PootuffyFishing i usually use braided line and mono for the leader
Give fluorocarbon a go, it can help a lot in clear water because it's way more invisible in water than mono, could make a difference, especially in the Bay where the water is so clear! I reckon 15-20lbs would be enough for snapper! All the best :)

Haha too much, but like I said, I built them all up over at least 5/6 years so its really only like a few packs here and there each year, while also replacing the ones I run out of. But I definitely have bought a lot recently, I got heaps when Tackle World closed down in Melbourne last year, because everything was like 75% off and ZMAN packs were like $4 and I probably got like 30 packs which would've only been like $120 haha. But yeah Ive bought a lot of keitech and lunker city stuff recently
