Me too man! I won't get much good fishing in for a few months I think, luckily I have a few videos banked up to keep them rolling out for now, thanks for watching brother! Means a lot :))
Nice salmon bro! I catch tons that size and tailor too. 40-50gram halco twisty in chrome colour and a medium speed retrieve is the best lure for sure 😉
Thank you man! I appreciate you watching! I love halco twistys, will definitely give them more of a go this winter! Should be seen in future vids so keep an eye out for that!
It's such a nice spot for sure! Thank you for the sub! Welcome to the channel! I go to the UK quite often but haven't fished much around the country since I was young. I would love to head down to Jersey some day to chase some pollack or maybe even sea bass! All the best 😊
Hey mate, first off great video, plenty of fish around and how about that double hookup!! just wondering what you use to edit your videos from one youtuber to another who's trying to find a better app?
Absolutely love your videos bro, they are so entertaining and I love watching them. I need help I want to catch literally anything on lures and I can't catch a cold do you have any ideas of where to go at all bro thanks
Thank you so much legend! That means a lot to hear :)) learning how to tie a good leader to braid knot is probably one of the best things I did when I first started getting into using lures, braid makes working lures/detecting bites so much easier! Another tip is to incorporate a lot of pauses in your retrieve, fish often attack a stationary lure. Where abouts are you located? I could help you find some spots in your local area 🫡
@@Pootuffy Thanks so much bro yeah I definitely fish with braid I tie a double uni at the moment and I have a coupple of good combos For plastics Im based in like the CBD of Melbourne but my parents live in werribee and I don't mind a drive anywhere within about an hour is awesome so any ideas you have would be really appreciated I can DM you on insta if you don't want to broadcast spots for everyone Thanks so much mate
Awesome brother! Definitely send me a message and I can point you in the right direction for some spots you can have some good success around your area!
I recently made a light setup for the surf here in puerto rico is a 3k ugly reel and a medium daiwa 7 foot rod 15 pound braid and id super fun i caught a 8 pound snapper othe other day i was laughing cause he was taking line like a 20 pounder 😂
That's awesome! And yeah it's sooo fun using super light gear in the surf, I'm going to go do it again this week, so hopefully I get some good action! Hope you have some good fishing adventures soon!
Thank you! From memory I think the jig is around 20grams and the diving lure is 9grams! The metal jig was quite a bit over the weight rating for this rod but it seemed to handle it well haha! Hope this helps
Hahaha 'tadpole sesh' thank you for the kind words, was still fun to get one that big on 6lbs, most people chasing salmon use 30lbs line on a 5-10kg rod haha
@@Pootuffy Thanks! My wife & I love to fish a number of the beaches on the Sth coast of NSW, and have had some fun with Australian Salmon, including the odd monster one. We're encouraged by your style & action you've shared. Appreciated!
That sounds awesome! I'm actually up in south coast NSW as I type this, just up here for a wedding, wish I could've got some fishing in though haha! Glad to hear you enjoy the videos, hope there's more great fishing on the horizon for you and your wife! All the best :))

What part of Australia is this.
East Coast :)
where is this spot!?
North Vic near Marlo, but any beach south of Byron bay through to Western Australia will have good salmon like this to be caught!
@@Pootuffy okay thhx
what (general) part of Australia is this?
Near NSW/VIC border :))
