Soft Plastics VS Hard Bodies | Which Lure Will WIN?

On this episode the boys go fishing on the Tweed River and decide to make it a competition for the ages, Bergie loves his hard body lures and Rodney loves his soft plastics. So the boys decide to see what lure performs the best on the almighty Flathead, very different from the traditional Mark Berg's Fishing Addiction episode.
The boys spend a large amount of time explaining how to catch Flathead on soft plastics as well as hard bodies so if you're looking for tips then this video is for you.

This was great to watch! No question in what is first choice, for preference of not having to deal with trebles, a placky with a single is far better for releasing fish. there’s only a few places on the east coast where hard bodies smash softies and tweed isn’t one! D bay flats is one, Swansea channel is another, any system you can run into situations where noise and big action makes the difference but the willingness to eat a softie vs just a chase or hit is the difference most of the time. there’s plenty of instances where I’ve given up jigging flathead and switched to top water then to have a crocodile swallow my sugarpen rigged on 4lb!

Scorpion 52 pink or zman 2.5 motor oil will catch better fish than the tiny flatheads you guys caught. Tweed is hard to find descent size fish
