- In this video I will replace the spark plugs on a Toyota Corolla 4 cylinder 1.8 Liter engine.
Service Interval: I did not find a service interval recommendation from Toyota for the spark plugs, but I would recommend replacing them at around 70K - 75K mile range.
Parts: Spark Plugs Part #90919-01275 : amzn.to/3KjEvXd
Tools:
3/8" ratchet: amzn.to/3h9zshn
- I recommend getting a ratchet with a flex head. This provides ease of movement and more flexibility,
especially when used with other jobs
3/8" extension wobble set: amzn.to/3UGEIqo
14mm Socket 3/8" amzn.to/40MEyln
14mm Sparkplug Socket With magnetic base: amzn.to/3iLrED4
10mm Socket 3/8": amzn.to/436Yu45
3/8" Torque Wrench: amzn.to/3Pcue0V
- I used a snap on torque but you do not need this fancy one. This is a great alternative for DIY.
Pocket Screw Driver : amzn.to/3HkKHym
- This is a combo kit comes with a small Philips screwdriver. We will only need the flathead but this is the best value for the price

Are they the same as the Corolla quest 2021?
Thanks you.
Quick question.
Do you need a memory saver ( like we do for battery replacement)
To change spark plus?
Great information…
No memory saver is required to change the spark plugs. Just don’t have the key in the on position.

Did you disconnect the battery before you charge the spark plugs and coils pack
No I did not. It is not necessary. Just make sure the key is off.
@@friendlymechanic9778How long have you been a mechanic?
