Ann, you do such beautiful work with clay. I hope you have a slab roller to use when you are not demonstrating. You definitely deserve one!!
This isn't something I've heard of before. The results are so interesting! Yet again, however, your beautiful watercoloring with the underglaze is stealing the show.
HI Em! Aww...thanks so much!!
Just bought some tar paper last week for this very purpose. And here you are! Wonderful, as always!
That so sweet Thanks Fruitless!!
I truly love your videos!! You come up with so many clever techniques for achieving beautiful pieces!!! Your pieces are truly remarkable on their own, but your hand painted designs are truly beautiful x 100!!!! I love seeing your finished pieces with their original and gorgeous designs meticulously painted on with such skill!!!
Looks like I’m marking another trip to the hardware store. LOL I feel like I’ve seen that black mug with the hidden bottom somewhere else recently. 🤔🤣 Thanks for the fabulous content & templates! Hoping they’ll fit on a standard size piece of printer paper! Have a great week guys! 💜
Haha! Thanks as always for watching....Be careful going out.... Jim and I put all the dimensions of the templates this time, so hopefully they will work for you and you can size it the way you want on your printer.
Love your demos and the art work on those pieces are amazing
Thanks so much Betsy!! I appreciate that!!
Unbelievable! Thank you so much for sharing! ❤❤❤
Your watercolors are amazing!
Aww....thanks so much C!!! That is so sweet of you. Thanks for watching.
Stunning, as always !
Wow, thanks so much for the kind words and for watching the video
I love these!
Wonderful presentatiin, informative and inspiring🎉
A curious thought has occurred to me. Your twisty vessel...could you get more of a twist if you centered it on the wheel and pulled from the inside? Sometimes that really works. I loved the video of your phantom potter, and I have been intrigued by tar-paper templates for a long time. Thanks for the demo.
Hi Tari. Good thinking. I think I would have to start from scratch by making a piece on the wheel and redesigning it then cutting it apart to make a new template that is more twisty. . Once the piece is hand built, due to all the vulnerable connections that could come apart , I think it would would be difficult to do any more twisting if that makes sense. But hey, I havent tried it so you never know. Thanks for the idea Tari!!
Great templates Wow 👌 do you have a video how to make the beautiful paintings on your ceramics?
Yes - a few (Underglaze Painting 101 - search on my channel) - and I also have in-depth painting courses available - link in description. Thanks!
Wow!
Thanks Shaun!
I’ve been using tar paper for ever for templates but never like this……..interesting and I really like….gonna have to give it a go. What is the diameter of your tube?

Hello, I don’t know if you will see this Anne. I don’t know how to download the templates! kind regards. Anne
❤
Thanks for watching Sabine!! Glad you liked it!
Sadly the Uk doesn't have an equivalent to US tar paper.
Hey Cariad. That is interesting....Hmmm, on a hunch, I looked this up on the internet to see if there is an alternative. Check out the term "roofing felt". When I searched that, this statement came up "Felt is a traditional flat roofing system. It is very robust when installed correctly. In the UK is remains a popular choice of waterproofing a roof." It is called either one here in the states. Perhaps it is just called Roofing Felt where you live?? Good luck.
@@annruel1982 Thanks so much for looking. I have researched it in the UK and spend money buying different types but nothing is similar to the US version. I'll just have to come tot he US for a vacation and bring some back with me LOL
@@cariadwales1979 Oh wow Cariad. Im sorry about that. Well, the way shipping prices are these days with international shipping rates, it might be cheaper to come over here for a vacation and purchase them, haha....and you get a nice vacation in the process. Good luck.
@@annruel1982 Thats a good idea! I could do with a vacation 😉
@@cariadwales1979 hahaha!
It would have been nice if you had offered some tarpaper patterns that we could download. Without them, this video is useless for me. I can't express how disappointed I am.
Templates are in description.
you are so talented!
That is so nice of you. Thanks for watching
