Gonna get the expansion because I love n64 even though I have the original one 😅 still like it I'm hoping they will add donkey kong 64 because that's my all time favorite game
@@ChaseYama if i have 3 profiles on my nintendo account and if i get the individual online membership does that mean it would work on all 3 profiles esp the online save feature?
I dont think you mentioned pricing and the family membership options. family membership with 8 people for only $10 a person a year is an incredible deal. difficulty is finding 7 other people to join you
I think that the only reason to buy the expansion pack is if you really want to play N64 and game boy advance games, or if you're a sonic fan and want to play classic sonic games. With the dlc, first of all, what are the chances of being a fan of Mario kart, splatoon and animal crossing? The only one I'm a fan of is Mario kart 8. Also, I think the DLC's are only available during your membership, but you have to check that. My conclusion You should only buy the expansion pack if you want to play N64, game boy advance and Sega Genesis games
Free online is a thing of the past. Almost everyone has an online subscription. I also didn't like paying for online play when I left the PS3 for the PS4 since the PS3 had free online play (still does to this day). Online play is much cheaper on Nintendo than PlayStation and Xbox. $20 for 12 months is a steal. Much better than $80 for 12 months on PlayStation. I've never paid a monthly subscription on anything except for my phone bill. However, I'm thinking of getting a Nintendo Switch 2 when it releases and I may pay for the online as $20 for a year is affordable. I make more than that in 1 hour of work. :D
Hey! Thanks for the breakdown; quick question! If my wife and I want to play the SNES/N64 Mario Kart games against each other locally on one switch, can we do that with the individual plan?
Thanks for watching! Yes, you'll just need an individual plan to play local multiplayer on one Switch! (But just a heads up that N64 games only come with the Nintendo Switch + Expansion Pack!)
@@ChaseYama thanks! In that case I may downgrade when renewal comes up….until the “New Switch 2 Online Expansion plus Luigi” bundle draws me back in in a year or so 😓.
Please help! Ive got the online + expansion pack. I started playing Splatoon 2 but i set up a new user so my daughter could have her own splatoon 2 profile and play from the beginning. However when she trys to play online it wont let her. Is this because i need to pay even more to let her play online with her own profile? Thanks
Other players still use your family NSO service even they are connecting to different internet providers. As long as they have linked to your family NSO.
I don't believe Nintendo has ever said that there is a limit to the save data cloud. And since it is only save data that is being stored in the cloud, it shouldn't take up too much space anyway.
Thanks for watching! Which Nintendo Switch Online membership are YOU getting?
Just the regular one, I don't really need the expansion pak tbh

both are pretty terrible, missing the glory days where online playing was a thing for free

20$ a year for online and being able to play the NES/SNES… HMMMM… I’ll pay for that
This is why you should be a PC gamer

Do both versions include the “99” games? I can’t find an answer to this anywhere. Thanks.
Yes, both Nintendo Switch Online and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack include Tetris 99 and F-Zero 99.

Does anyone know if I purchase the family expansion, do the other players need to be connected to the same wifi?

Is the cloud storage unlimited?

Does the catalogue of games on the basics Nintendo online change?
They add new games every now and then, so far nothing has been removed again
