As a person who wasn't born during the Wii era, I definitely enjoyed playing Switch Sports with my cousins but just preferred Wii Sports. I think that they missed out on not including Swordplay outside of that weird rendition. I definitely preferred the levels where there were a bunch of enemies. I also think Odyssey is better than Kart just because of how original, inventive, goofy but fun it is.
Super Mario 35 was so freakin’ cool. I played it Every Day when it was available, and got to know Mario 1 at a level I never would have. NINTENDO BRING 35 BACK!

Paper Mario and the Origami King (yes, yes. this is indeed an unpopular opinion. but you don't need to roast me in the replies for this.) 4. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's fury (This is mostly here because of bowser's fury, and if it was alone and the amount of play time did not matter, it would be in first place) 5. Super Mario Odyssey (even though it's a great game, I just wish it there was more dialog/story, it would be much higher on the list if it did in my opinion, I also think that to 100% the game there are WAY too many moons. like what were the devs thinking putting 880 moons in it! this aint breath of the wild's korok seeds!) Oh yeah, this does mean that the other games (5 to 9 in his list) are pushed back to 6-10
Unpopular opinion: Mario Kart 8 sucks. Really, the steering is just too hard to control without auto-steering, but your friends will make fun of you if you use auto-steering. Apparently, if you choose the right character-kart-wheels-glider combo you can actually make a 20 degree angle turn at 10km/h, but why would I invest the time to learn the perfect combo to play a game I'm not that interested in? And I guess I'll just not pick a character/kart I like.
Dude i cant beleive how diferent our opinions are! First of all i LOVE mario + rabbids saga, top 10 switch games for me, much much better than super mario party and leagues above the sports games. it’s a pretty common sentiment that Sunshine is the black sheep. it’s the only Mainline mario game that was extremely rushed and half of the game is cut content so the game could come out. it’s also the most technically poor performing as it has many glitches and weird kinks that other polished nintendo games don’t have.
@@ChillGuy1864 it literally does matter bc the game is rushed and lacks content. it literally isn’t the most creative ever either. sunshine is fun but is creatively bankrupt compared to other mario games.
In my opinion, no mario game defeats odyssey. It has SO much content and memorable moments that it's just the best mario game. I don't like or play mario kart games, so can't talk on that, but I played odyssey for 350+ hours and still play it from time to time

It’s very popular. And it’s become one of my favorite Mario party’s. Even my mom loves it. It’s unique and the mini games are some of the most fun I’ve ever played. I like it way better than Mario Party Superstars, although you could argue that game boards are better on this game. The mini games are way more fun to me on Super Mario Party and it’s my favorite currently. Weird that I kinda feel the opposite. Would have rated super Mario party close to number 1.

Agree! Finally some appreciation for 3D World! It has the best platforming out of any 3D Mario, maybe even 2D except for SMM2 which had some crazy levels, and Wonder is way too simplified and streamlined that it shouldn’t be this high! There is no challenge and the only contribution to the franchise is the visuals and wonder effect which only cover up for the lack of deep level design!
Mario Kart at #1 is bang on but I feel Wonder shoukld be #2. The mere fact that Wonder doesn't have timed levels like the other side scrolling games is a blessing. You can enjoy the environment more.

the first mario+rabbits was a masterpiece for me you need to make good choices and it wil be a nostalgic game for me and the dlc was also very good with a hole other story with dk so this is a top tier game for me
I agree. I even enjoyed the dlc challenges.
I was born in the Atari age. GOOD TIMES been gaming every since
i actualy really love mario and rabits siries.
Same. But I prefer the first game. There was elements in the second game I wasn’t big on.
''95 incredible tracks.... + toads circuit'' got me rolling on the floor
everyone is commenting this. why is this funny? i dont get it
@dukenukem7043 it just cought me off guard
@@dukenukem7043toad circuit is a trash choice.
0:37 YOOO PUT THIS HIGHER!!! ITS AMAZING
Super Mario 35 was so freakin’ cool. I played it Every Day when it was available, and got to know Mario 1 at a level I never would have. NINTENDO BRING 35 BACK!
Love the honesty and conciseness on this list, but not withy a lack of thorough review. Thank u bro
Why no one say Super mario Bros Wonder is the Best 😭😭 its my fav
Ikr its so fun

I was about to comment "You forgot Luigi's Mansion", but then I realised Luigi is not Mario
Super Mario wonder is by far the best of the bunch.
I love wonder, but I think odyssey is still better
@@SkilledHooper Facts
@@SkilledHooper odyssey is overrated imo
yes. mario 3d world and wonder are the top 2

These are all good but the best Mario game on switch is probably Super Dazzler World. Unfortunately it's not currently available on Mario Maker 2 online course world because it broke the internet
8:52 I can't believe IGN downgraded their original review of this game. It's a stone cold masterpiece and my favorite Mario game to date (I've been playing since the NES).
Super Mario Party is super underrated.

YES
not really the game is just pure trash

1:11 Ok. I take it back. I thought you were like those other UA-camrs with these types of videos but you actually know the history of strikers and why this one is very disappointing
“95 incredible tracks plus toad’s circuit” 😂
Oh man so nice to find someone else with the passion for Super Mario 3D world! It's been my fave since it came out, I love playing with my kids! I've played it through like 4 times haha! Bowser's Fury was one of the most pleasant games I ever played through, so satisfying.
I do love Odyssey but I guess for where my priorities are right now (playing with my kids) the other game sticks out more for me
2:26 ...you listed both Mario Rabbids games very low...video and channel lost all credibility. I'm out.
Solid list. I don’t agree with all of it but I can understand and be won over with your decisions. Number one slot is perfect with all the TLC that Nintendo has given it. Great video!
What about Super Smash Bros 😢
that’s a “Kirby” game but u kinda right
It's not a mario game because mario isn't the main character. There isn't even a main character at all.
When you put 3D World above Odyssey, I legitimately thought it was a joke and I started laughing until I realized you were serious.
Love the Rabbids games, really good
me too
Odyssey best game ever made. I beat it a month ago and immediately started another game cause i just couldn’t put it down. Btw. Can you recommend a similar switch game to Oddysey? Does not need to be Mario. Thank you 🙏
In my opinion wonder would be at the top
Odyssey is and will always be the best
I disagree with the Mario rabbids games but I will not hate you unlike some others in this comment section. 3d world is criminally underrated
3d world's last level ended my sanity 💀 while Odyssey actually had an easy mode for beginners to be able to win the last kingdom
@@TheSaltyPirateBrawlStars I didn’t need easy mode for odyssey.
@@IcedCube0310 Yeah

Champion road made me lower my 3d world rating by a lot
Especially when you don't have freinds real life
I almost agree, except for the top 5. my top 5 is:
1. Mariokart 8 deluxe
2. Super Mario Bros. Wonder
3. Paper Mario and the Origami King (yes, yes. this is indeed an unpopular opinion. but you don't need to roast me in the replies for this.)
4. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's fury (This is mostly here because of bowser's fury, and if it was alone and the amount of play time did not matter, it would be in first place)
5. Super Mario Odyssey (even though it's a great game, I just wish it there was more dialog/story, it would be much higher on the list if it did in my opinion, I also think that to 100% the game there are WAY too many moons. like what were the devs thinking putting 880 moons in it! this aint breath of the wild's korok seeds!)
Oh yeah, this does mean that the other games (5 to 9 in his list) are pushed back to 6-10
Oki 👍
Unpopular opinion: Mario Kart 8 sucks.
Really, the steering is just too hard to control without auto-steering, but your friends will make fun of you if you use auto-steering. Apparently, if you choose the right character-kart-wheels-glider combo you can actually make a 20 degree angle turn at 10km/h, but why would I invest the time to learn the perfect combo to play a game I'm not that interested in? And I guess I'll just not pick a character/kart I like.
I really like the new Mario wonder game that came out
Dude i cant beleive how diferent our opinions are! First of all i LOVE mario + rabbids saga, top 10 switch games for me, much much better than super mario party and leagues above the sports games. Also for me odyssey is top 1, and I dont like 3D world that much. Still, I like mario kart, its top 10 for me but definitively not top 1. 😅
Bro just offended me by saying that sunshine was the black sheep of the three. How dare you say that to a mastrpiece
it’s a pretty common sentiment that Sunshine is the black sheep. it’s the only Mainline mario game that was extremely rushed and half of the game is cut content so the game could come out. it’s also the most technically poor performing as it has many glitches and weird kinks that other polished nintendo games don’t have.
@@cwega2463 it doesn’t matter it is the most creative game ever
@@ChillGuy1864 it literally does matter bc the game is rushed and lacks content. it literally isn’t the most creative ever either. sunshine is fun but is creatively bankrupt compared to other mario games.
Black sheep isn’t a bad thing at all I legit say it’s one of the best games of all time
@@SwitchStop oh wow I didn’t understand what you meant. Thanks for specifying
Bro, I agree so much with 3D all stars🎉❤😂
Odyssey should be number 1
Nah, SMRPG should be number 1 even though it’s a remake.
Odyssey should have been #18.
In my opinion, no mario game defeats odyssey. It has SO much content and memorable moments that it's just the best mario game. I don't like or play mario kart games, so can't talk on that, but I played odyssey for 350+ hours and still play it from time to time
I disagree about Mario Strikers Battle League, I think it's a great game. i loved the graphics and the way it controlled
I agree, my wife and I play it a lot and she doesn’t even like football (soccer) 👌

Rabbid and Mario franchise are my favorite games. I put them on my top 1.
Here's my top 10 (from what I've played)
10# Mario Maker 2
9# Paper Mario O K
8# Super Mario Party
7# Mario 3D World
6# Mario Kart 8
5# Bowser's Fury
4# Mario Odyssey
3# Mario Wonder
2# Rabbid Mario Kingdom Battle
1# Rabbid Mario Sparks Of Hope
Rabbid games above mario wonder/odyssey is wild but aight
@@maxwu4145 Yeah I think I am one of the few who likes Mario + Rabbid more than odyssey and wonder
I would say that kingdom battle deserves to be higher than sparks of hope… Its not as buggy and glitchy as kingdom battle and also more creative in enemy variation…

Low key, got me with the edits at 10 mins lol. Then hit me with the number one and it made me giggle
I would rank Paper Mario and Mario + Rabbids higher, but I understand that RPG games isnt for everyone.
Finally, someone that can say mario. Who tf is merry-o?
haha right. even in the games themselves, he says "its me, Mario". there is no merry-o. and people will still say it that way
idk what happened when they were making odyssey but they made a masterpiece
Super Mario Odyssey is just not the best Mario game but it’s the best game ever made. I couldn’t put my switch down when I played it.
Can’t believe he just said he hated Super Mario Party but loves Mario Party Superstars. And he didn’t even tell why he hated it so much.
Super Mario Party was the best seller if I’m not mistaken.
I do think Superstars is the better game but this guy hates Super WAY too much.
Only real issue I have with Super is you’re forced to use the joy con
Paper mario: the origami king was done so dirty in this video
So.... is just me who really like the mario+rabids games? I would easly put them after mario wonder/oddyssey as best mario switch games.
I loved them but definitely wouldn't put them that high either. I'd put them closer to maybe where Paper Mario the Origami King got
its not just you
Lot's of people's like the games. It just not what a lot of Mario fans like, so your in the wrong fanbase.
I kinda liked mario and rabbids but nowhere close to mario and Luigi games , i mean to say if someday I have to chose mario RPGs my list will be like
Paper mario > 7 stars > mario and Luigi > mario and rabbids
@@truepatriot3768 mine would be: Rabbids, Paper Mario, Mario and Luigi, Mario RPG 7 stars

Great video! Good and concise arguments. No fluff or nonsense.
Thomas, you haven’t been forgiven to Mario + Rabbids and this video proved that you refused to apologize me by still criticizing the games, then this war between you and me is still going, lucky for me, a new PAW Patrol movie has been announced after the second one been successful, one day, I’ll win against you, and you will have to apologize to me.

Mario 35 was so epic! I miss it to this day.
4:08 U Deluxe actually is one of the delixe game with the least content. Also there was already a Mario Bros U + Luigi Bros U on the Wii U. Some say it's even worse than the Wii U version because it had removed content.
Mario Odyssey is my least fav, to the bottom for me
"N64...how Mario started"...How young are you bro :D?
W list, but as most people hae pointed out, Number 1 Spot should go to Super Mario Odyssey, even tho MK8Deluxe is the best Mario Kart game of all time, it's still Mario Kart. We've played this before, but Odyssey is something completely new and original.
Mario Kart is overrated imo it
I think Mario & Luigi Brothership is gonna turn out amazing
Mario RPG at number 8 is utter blasphemy.
1. Mario Odyssey
2.Mario Wonder.
3. Mario Karts
4 Mario and Sparks of Hope.
5 Origami King
6 Bowsers fury

No, the Luigi levels are added difficulty, where Luigi plays more floaty and slippery
Love both rabbits games. And Mario party superstars agree better super Mario party but still should be higher. Mario kart is good and never r=tree super Mario Wii u dlx but I love old versions. Can’t wait to try wonder do. And try the rpgs soon oh ya 3D word fine too.
Super Mario Party is the only Mario Party I have so stop roasting it.
Hot take: odyssey was just ok 👀
Hot take: I love odyssey but some peoples are very rude about opinions so it’s fine to not like a game
Agree! Finally some appreciation for 3D World! It has the best platforming out of any 3D Mario, maybe even 2D except for SMM2 which had some crazy levels, and Wonder is way too simplified and streamlined that it shouldn’t be this high! There is no challenge and the only contribution to the franchise is the visuals and wonder effect which only cover up for the lack of deep level design!
i agree that super mario odedsey is the worst
Yea mario party superstars best
