Thank you! The sake kasu paste looks similar to white miso but it has a fruity sake taste. It adds a sweetness to the silky & buttery black cod & melts in your mouth. One of my absolute favorite dishes!
I used Yaegaki Junmai Sake, but I’ve used other brands like Takara & Gekkeikan & they are usually available at liquor stores, Whole Foods & other specialty grocery stores.

I use honey instead of sugar, tastes better.
