Woman Arrested for THIRD OWI After her Divorce Party

- Around 9:17 PM on July 30, 2022, Deputy Nicholas Moro with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to Benders Bar and Grill on a report of a pickup truck which had struck a utility pole. He arrived on scene around 9:23 PM and noticed that there was a downed utility pole that had been struck by a black Chevy Silverado. He made contact with 2 women nearby and one of them admitted to being the driver of the Chevy that had struck the utility pole. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Kimberly, and she admitted to consuming alcohol while she was on the lake earlier that day.
As Deputy Moro was speaking with Kimberly, he observed indicators of impairment and asked Kimberly to perform field sobriety exercises to prove that she was safe to drive. The first field sobriety exercise involved the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test. The second exercise was the Walk and Turn test, and Kimberly failed to touch heel-to-toe on each step and turned improperly. The final field sobriety exercise was the One Leg Stand test. During the One Leg Stand test, Kimberly failed to raise her foot in the proper fashion while putting her foot down multiple times.
Based on her the car accident, her indicators of impairment, her admission to consuming alcohol, and her inability to perform the field sobriety tests adequately, Kimberly was placed under arrest for operating while intoxicated (OWI). This was her third arrest for OWI, and she told the officer in the patrol car that she had celebrated her divorce party earlier that evening before this happened. Kimberly was transported to the hospital for a blood draw, but she refused the blood draw at the hospital. After she refused the blood draw, she placed in the patrol car again until she could be released to a sober adult pending her court appearance.

I get what you're saying, but if they will drive drunk, I'm pretty sure they will drive without a license. Making dui laws stronger!! And stop with diversions & quick bond outs. Big bonds, mandatory 24 hrs jail stay, & automatic 7 days in jail for 2nd, 30 days for 3rd, 6month for 4th ect. This "traffic infraction, no big deal bs has to STOP!!! Don't coddle these selfish a**holes!!!!!!!!
Here in Arizona the 3rd DWI is automatically 7 years in prison. Not sure it’s made any difference in the people reoffending unfortunately. Stay safe and stay aware everyone 🙏🏻

Just amazes me. 3 DUI’S and this is her first . The cop sounds so happy for her????! She will be drinking and driving again because there are no penalties or jail time!!! So sad.
Every jurisdiction must have different policies because I’ve never seen a video where the person in the backseat is allowed to have their phone and continuously talk on the phone with no handcuffs.
I may of missed this but I didn’t see them frisk her to check for weapons or drugs. Way to laid back there procedures are or lack there of.

My neighbor is on his 5th and jokes the worst punishment is from his insurance company. Little wonder why there's more than one death from drunk drivers every hour 365 days a year resulting in 25% of all vehicular fatalities.
My friend chose to drive drunk going on 2nd dui she hadn't gone to court for yet she was driving drunk to get her car fixed from last dui her boyfriend following her she hit a innocent man in his 30s a dad husband son friend he died she had her boyfriend follow her to her dad's dropped off the bloody car jumped in her boyfriends car took off for a day or two until finally turning herself in to police sitting in prison now she hurt so many including her 78 yr old dad that washed n hid the car in garage 😢until police arrested him Please Don't drink n drive

I wonder why insurance companies don't drop them from their policy
@fireflyrn They put them as high risk, in my state SR-22 where rates are exorbitant often making it unaffordable to drive. Unfortunately, many of these people just drive uninsured till they get caught.

People continue to drive intoxicated because the legal system allows it by treating it as a slap on the wrist. No serious consequences until someone is hurt, killed or property damage occurs. Disgusting. Must be frustrating for officers.

Even the drunk driver can’t believe she crashed her car while drunk, and for the third time is caught drunk driving, and is still being let go.
This is embarrassing to say but I got a DUI almost 32 years ago. It scared me enough to not ever risk going through it again. I didn’t go to jail. I just had a fine and lost my license for 6 months. I do not understand people who do it over and over! Especially when you have little kids. I hope this lady learns this time.

Bruh all she had to do was get an Uber/Lyft or a taxi and not drive. If you can afford to go out and get trashed, you should be able to afford a not to drive drunk once you get wasted. When I lived in Wi my relative was on his 7-9 drunk driving ticket in 2000 and he was never put in jail, had his license revoked, nothing was done to him, I left the state and not sure if he is still drinking or finally quit, at least his wife had good sense to leave him.

What ever happened to 1 phone call back at the station? Kenosha lets you hang out in the car with a purse and no cuffs and call people for hours.
