I mean, Ii knew people who could behave this way but this wasn't an epidemic of behavior like we see today. In the 80's and 90's you just didn't see OR hear about people trashing a fast food restaurant just because their fries were cold. At any age... Ii would have been SO modified and scared of my parents finding out I acted like this. The cops would have been the least of my worries. Perfectly stated and articulated!! I couldn't have saiid it better myself and I was thinking the same thing! You actually didi it better then me because you covered things I hadn't thought about or would have thought to include. I'm not super old... but I am in my late 40's and more often than not when I see these videos I am at a loss at what to say. When I was this young I was either just oblivious to wide-spread behaviors like this or... we just didn't act this spoiled, entitled and undisciplined. I mean, Ii knew people who could behave this way but this wasn't an epidemic of behavior like we see today. In the 80's and 90's you just didn't see OR hear about people trashing a fast food restaurant just because their fries were cold. At any age... Ii would have been SO modified and scared of my parents finding out I acted like this. The cops would have been the least of my worries. Too many parent these days, it seems to me, are absolutely frighted or completely indifferent when it comes to discipline and holding their children accountable. If my father had heard or found out that I spoke to my mother like this girl did... I'm telling you now... it would never had happened again. And if I had spoken to my father like this girl spoke to her mother... well, that never would have happened. I am so blessed to have been raised my amazing parents who created such a loving environment but yet imposed rules and more importantly, consequences. I've never had the kind of relationship with my parents that would have even opened up the thought of me speaking or acting like this towards my family. My wife and I are not perfect parents but we absolutely strive in every way to teach and MODEL respect, responsibility and accountability to our children.
