Paul, that is so badass! I totally spaced out sending pics, now I’m not sure I want to, because I’ll be embarrassed!😂 No, I’m gonna still send some, I just spaced it out! Just understand, all I got is a dremal! No chainsaw,die grinders, 1/4 anything! Just my little worn out 20yr. Old dremal!😂 Good stuff Brother!!

Looks really good so far. I love all the interesting textures. 😊 Great idea for the wire brush attachment. I love using them for sanding work, but I've experienced the same thing with them. I definitely use safety glasses with them too. I'll have to try your hack to see if it'll make them last longer too.👍 Thanks for sharing your progress on the carve.😊
@@kjirstenboucher9682 Thanks Kjirsten. I use other brushes sometimes, different shapes. So far, those zip ties are still holding probably because I don’t use max rpm. I don’t recommend using maximum 20k
as they’re rated.🌝 Happy carving!
@@wood-psyche I always appreciate the tips.👍😊 I just ordered some different sanding brushes and sanding mops in different grits, so I'm looking forward to testing them out. But I've found those metal ones work pretty good. Lol,...I just burn through them pretty quick, and lose all the bristles, so that's kind of a bummer. I definitely know what you mean about those lil things flying off n getting in your skin,...they go everywhere!
@@kjirstenboucher9682Good to hear that. Another subscriber recommended a brass style brush which should have a different effect than the steel variety. I’m going to try them out soon. I intended to use the wire wheels to create pine needle texture but the tree rings kinda inhibited things a little. But it actually
helps by knocking down rough edges, blending things together.🌝

Paukl, why don't you use brass wire instead of iron? But it's a great idea to go to the little cracks! How did you do ? For the central crack, this is the beauty of wood, its chance and its symmetry! Love the Milwaukee tool, but, really expensive!
