In music "shabadaba di ya" is know as........ scat !
Wikipedia: _"Originating in vocal jazz, scat singing or scatting is vocal improvisation with wordless vocables, nonsense syllables or without words at all."_

They have been noted for their stage personas, with Wajima dressing as a Meiji-era literary master, Suzuki dressing as a Buddhist monk, and Nakajima dressing as a Yakuza-style gangster.

Kreyz, I am glad you are loving them. I saw them live back in 1993 or 1994, not totally sure, but have been a low-key fan since. They are my favorite Japanese band. If I want a show, I go Babymetal, but if I am just after some solid rock, then Ningen Isu is my go to.

They remind me of Rush, which is my favorite band of all time. I also get a feel of Dream Theater, too.

Shinji Wajima's outfit theme is that of a Meiji-era literary master. Amazing band, they have so many great albums 🖤

I swear that bassist has to be related to Boh from the Kami band.
On a completely unrelated note, it seems like UA-cam likes pointing us in the same direction so I have a bit of a challenge in doing what I like to do best. Introducing to something new, but I have the perfect song for that due to how criminally unviewed/heard it is.
It's HELクライム 地獄病棟24時 feat ナマコプリ namakopuri. Unfortunately that would be both the start and end of the journey, although you may be familiar with Namakopuri if you've played Cyberpunk 2077 as they are US Crack. They actually have a live performance of Pon Pon Ish on UA-cam. I'll be honest and say I'm judging the possible likability from you based on that nice little flag in the back, even with no clue what they're saying. The tube thinks they're speaking Vietnamese, but everything about the video is Japanese so auto translate is out. Still weirdly spits out English, so IDK.
For something with more of a journey, and more popularity, I'd go with Nytt Land - U'Gra live from their Ritual show. The full show is on their channel, with some songs like U'Gra having their own videos. If you like Heilung you'll more than likely like them. And like Heilung it's best served live.
Beni Ninigawa from Wagakki Band has a single of her own called Lycoris with Machiya, the Wagakki guitarist, doing the non shamisen music. For something similar, but different, Nini Music - LongMa (Taiwanese Folk Metal) was good.
Sorry for being a bit long and rambly in places. Hope I dug deep enough to at least get new names out there, excluding Hel Climb which even youtube tries to tell me doesn't exist and do I want to watch races up Pikes Peak and Beni who should be familiar from Wagakki Band. Like I said earlier, I like bringing people to new paths. Whether you take a peek, continue down, or just go elsewhere, I'm just happy for the challenge.
