    The sad reality is that our schools dont teach us about mental health and mental development when it is made to make us knowledgeable

      This is probably why I suffered so much on school. My mental health plummeted more than you could imagine back then.

      I am sure it's more important than higher mathematics. Because everyone needs to be mentally healthy, but 1% at max needs higher mathematics

      Mental health is taught to many by family and spiritual connection. Why are we asking teachers and schools to now teach not only math, science and literary skills….but now also emotional regulation, coping skills, basic manners and empathy. Parents need to take on more of these responsibilities, teachers are burning out now more than ever because students are increasingly needy of things previously handled by parents, family and community. 1 teacher teaches up to 130 kids a day 30-33 kids per hour, how can 1 person with 2 minutes per kid be in charge of teaching them every aspect of life. Parents need to get kids off devices and social media until they are taught basic coping and social skills by their family. I think the sudden upturn in negative mental health outcomes coincides with the rise of social media, constant use of smart devices and the general parenting movement. Life is anti fragile, to keep it protected at all times from adversity is proven to make all living things weak. Whether you agree with this statement or not it is Just food for thought….we need to put screens down more and do just that….think, read, learn from those that came before us.

    I make myself move even though I have no energy or motivation. It usually ends up I feel better after. But if not, it’s still an accomplishment to be proud of!

    Thank you. I sometimes go in digital detox just because I need to spend time either in nature or reading a book for example. This is not something bad as your mind & body also needs time outside of screens. Then you can connect again with more power & passion ❤
    Connection is incredible but you need physical stimuli as well so I recommend to try this and coming back recharged.

    I have found that finding one thing a day to be thankful for is very helpful too. It's a reminder that not everything is bad.

    really been needing this these days. I realized my college term right now is so much more difficult than what I thought it would be and I've been trying to build better habits with no good progress so far.

    Online interaction is not all removed from human interaction, most of my human interaction is done online and I don't really get that from physical interaction. It depends on the community, if you use Twitter, you're probably going to have problems, but there are probably many places to get actual interaction online

    I had to put a boundary at work because one the dry humor was geting to me mentally. Two i know i was drying to use dry humor which made feel like a bad person as well.

    2. Get depressed because you doesn't know how and always end up making mistake because overthinking about making friend

    This is unrelated to the topic of this video but i figured this comments section would be busy because f that. I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem of being indfferent about lots of things. I dont have many strong opinions on things. I think its because i Realize that many of these things dont matter but it has led to me feeling like i dont have any emotions. Im not sad by any means, im actually quite happy, but i feel like my indifference is making me a bit of a hinderance to be around. People ask my opinion on something and it is almost always going to be that i dont really care or that im neutral in the matter (this has led to the running joke with my friends that im just super uninteresting) i also have been trying to get into writing songs again and this has become a major hinderence for me. I do have aphantasia but i dont think that would be related tho

    Psych2go I have a question I laugh about a lot of my issues since everywhere I go I constantly keep feelings bottled up and I know it’s not good but i can’t ever fully express it everyone always says it’s not about what you say but how you say it and I can’t ever just let it out it’s gotten so bad to the point where I laugh at hide that I’m depressed and just agree because I feel alone and like there’s nothing I can do no matter where I go it’s my fault please help me out
