If you're a girl into anime i really suggest you take a look to Mahoutsukai No Yakusoku, it's not an anime but a game and the stories are all translated. There's a lot of tragic stories but also a lot of happy endings on this game's stories, its about magic, wizards and its wonderfully made.

I’ve been hopelessly depressed over the last year and am just now starting to do some of these habits to help improve myself. I’ve always tried journaling but failed to keep it up. Now I use the notes app on my phone instead of pen and paper because it allows me to write anywhere, anytime. I used to read like crazy when I was younger but haven’t in years. I’m just starting to read again. It’s amazing what small things can do to improve your mood. Even over short periods of time.

I have adopted the journaling habit for more than 1 year, but for some periods of time I didn't do it as often as I should. However, being through a tough time of experiencing a breakup made me do it every day and I can recognize how helpful it is for me to go over the period. I write down every thought and wondering my mind comes up. I allow them to flow out and I actually realize underlying problems and solutions burden deep down.

    4. Get at least 8 hours of sleep and try to keep a regular sleep rhythm
    5. Eat healthy. Having some sweets or fast food now and then is fine but try and norish your body with good food. I like the color rule: Try to have as many colors as possible in your meals. And learn to love veggies.

Hi Grace- how about begin your day by looking at the mirror and see the beautiful YOU. How about begin expressing gratitude for things that you have. Many a times we feel depressed, unhappy and empty because we are focusing on what we miss instead of what we are left with whatever bit it is or however small it is. I am not advising you but this is what I do. In the end Self- love is the most important factor. Nobody will remain with you except your body so first learn to love yourself and care about your body and health. You will be most happiest person in this world. Sending you lots of positive vibes and light in your life 🦋🌈🌹

Hi grace. I'm a 32 yrs old lady doctor. I suffered from depression for 3yrs. I did everything I could to just stay alive. I think I have a good idea how you feel. I know sometimes you think no one can understand your devastation and hopelessness. That may be true. But please hear me out.
There are health care professionals that are beyond kind and understanding. Some of them will know exactly how to help you.
Maybe you think you'll never be happy again, that's what I thought when I was depressed. This is not true. Please believe me.
I'm sure you can ask for help from someone. A friend. A relative. Or a doctor.
Take it slowly and keep going.
A couple of pills can do wonders sometimes, they did for me .
Just seek help from a professional.
May you be healthy and happy. This is from the bottom of my heart.

    4. Make it a habit being around happy people - This is possible. . . . But it seems rare even nowadays. And I'm also the socially awkward which makes it nearly impossible to make new friends and my weird reputation also says the same thing but my reputation is mostly in school.
    5. Join Clubs/Cultural activities - As I said in the 3rd I don't really feel like I have something fun to do but maybe.

You know, I can seriously vouche for coffee. My family is notorious among my inner circle for being “the free coffeehouse” because we’ve always got a fresh pot brewing. With three anxious women (plus my husband) all in one house, the coffee disappears quickly so we have to keep brewing it for everyone to get their preferred amount. Maybe stuff like this is an example of “appreciating the small things”. I can honestly say that no matter how bad a mood I’m in, I can ALWAYS walk down the hall and have a perfectly made cup, even late into the night (the pot gets turned off at 10:00 p.m.) I highly support the idea of a good cup of coffee!

    5. Eat breakfast before 9.
    6. Practicing one day at a time, also focusing on one task at a time.
    7. Watch cat&dog videos.
    8. Don't eat spicy food.
    9. Write down how I feel, what makes me happy, sad, the reasons why, and things that I'm grateful for.
    10. Trying to sleep early.
    Instead of 6, I wrote 10. 😆❤️

I have been writing journals since I was 9 yrs. old. Been 8 years now, I still write a new journal every year. Really makes me laugh reading my old experiences and feelings. Makes me stay the happy person I am ^o^

I can take everything with all my experiences while watching these, and differentiate the reality of things from my mind's reality.
Make more awe moments.. life needs more awe and wonder. Thanks for the advice.

Y’all I got some tips to make you more happier, I used to be sad and emo but now I’m doing a lot better. The first major tip is enjoying little things, it might sound dumb or whatever but when you enjoy little things you start to appreciate things more, like for example I get happy whenever I see bright green grass or a nice blue sky. I used to always not be sad but just bland bc I thought that if something amazing didn’t happen everyday that the day was boring but now I realize that a mediocre day is still good :) Second, thinking of things more positively. Third, ok so I have a big problem w/ just sitting at home all day on my devices so what I do is just doing little things to make me feel more productive so I feel better abt myself like writing in a journal, going on a walk, doing random crafts, going on errands, etc. Fourth, y’all do skincareeee plsss it makes you feel so productive and it also is good for you and it feels AMAZE

This is actually true! All of what you've just said!😊 It'll really makes us happier if we became grateful & focus first on the small things, instead of finding something big realquick. It's some of the things you can have without a cost.💗

    -Read stories of wonder
and after i finish them i feel depressed my life isn't as interesting as theirs
-Drink a healthy amount of coffee
    literally can't because of gastritis
    -Don't focus on materialistic good
    i already don't
-Make it a habit to be around happy people
    i tried, i can't make friends
-Join clubs + Participate in cultural activities
    i tried, i don't fit anywhere
-keep a journal of your feelings
...actually, i started doing somewhat this, i made several notes on my phone with feelings names like "Sadness" and every time i bottle that emotion up i add a "/" to the note, it doesn't really help me feel better, but at least i can track how much i bottle up

I knew it. I knew my life lost all joy and meaning the day my book slump started. It’s going on 5 years now. I was an avid reader. I loved books. I had a freaking bookstagram. Now I’ll just be happy if I can make it through one book in a span of 2 months. I’m trying to get back into journaling too. I can’t tell if it actually helped or not because all I did was writer how sad I am, which after awhile bores and annoys me. Meanwhile I knew having a quiet morning with a cup of coffee made me happier 😊😅🥲

      > When you read articles about financial freedom, you may hear people talk over and over again about how they spend next to nothing to be able to retire at a younger age like 30. Instead, they may have already achieved financial freedom and boast about how frugal they were in order to retire well before the typical retirement age.
