@@spiritofthetallhills2037 That's the other selling point for these. The amps I bought the STL Tonality Lasse Lammert because of the Driftwood and the Diezel amps it has.
I'm only 2 seconds in, so not sure what you think about it. I think it looks and sounds amazing. I just wish Josh could have given us some "album" themed presets. I don't care to open a preset called "Cali OS 4x12 LR HPF Dual stack Mic57" I just want a preset called "Teras" for example 😂
this is the first plugin where the amps were actually re-built component by component....its not captured after the fact......they actually re created the circuits of these amps. I have the Lasse Lammert.....also very good.
That's actually how some of the first plugins were designed, it's just that the tech wasn't as good back then. This is nothing new, but they did it better then the past attempts. But because of this, that's why for ages companies used tone captures instead, it's just easier to get a good sound that way. The draw back is that you can't tweak it as much.
I got the tonehub it’s unbelievable greatest plug-in I ever used I just tried the Josh tonality but can’t get it going tried every setting exactly same settings as my tonehub but I just getting tons of static white noise any idea wat this could be?
Is this one built for specific pickups? I bought it and my ltd with active emgs to be honest doest sound the greatest. I hsve tried my 7 string with fishmans
My biggest problem is that I have trouble finding the right tone for my mixes. how do you go about doing this. Do you record the entire song all tracks , then mess with tones after to get it to fit? I saw someone do this recently, i need to try that. I always try to get my tone first and I think i might be wasting a lot of time and effort. if you could, maybe let me know what think think is a better way.
I had the same problem. Little tip how I do it nowadays. I record my guitar with a tone I enjoy playing (record the DI). And then later I flick thru different irs in the complete mix and look for the one that fits in best. And go from there. Hope that helps.
Yeh I would record it with a tone you like then put it on a loop and tweak the tones to match. A lot of the time I have a third track that I record on and then move them up
@@JamieSlays oh like an extra track, i get it. cool idea. Thanks a bunch!!! really appreciate any help! I find mixing metal is pretty difficult compared to some other genres. Still learning.
I thought he recorded conclusion of an age through a Randall head? I’m sure I heard he was considering buying one after finishing the record before eventually deciding against it
I have this plug-in and I'm not a fan of the IRs that came with it. I prefer turning off the IRs and adding a zilla cab. The amount of fullness i get is much better.
I feel like the market is oversaturated and I'm afraid the only selling point these days is the artist name.
I got it just cause it had a triple x lmao i dont really see anyone else making plugins of that
Or price audioassault has some really good ones an most of the time their only 5 bucks

Haha that’s very true. I guess it was more tailored around architects than songs from Sylosis. But I do agree with you
@@JamieSlays Which tone sounds like All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us?

@@matttaylor1449 Yeah, I remember Revalver from Peavey being done the same way
I fucking love having a jcm800 with a hot mod in plugin form, jcm800 + hotmod + Boss SD-1 + EMG's is my sound.
...can you try to get the Sepultura Arise Sound out of that plugin?
would u be able to share your presets from the plugin u made
You are a beast! I was wondering what strings you are using? Also, is this the best 5150 plugin in your opinion?
Yeh I’d say so! This and the Nolly neural dsp are my favourites. But the STL peavey 6505 ‘meridian’ sounds epic also
I was using 10-54 and it’s way too thick for E haha

i already have the regular stl tonehub from josh. it was pretty good as my very first plugin :)
that guitar looks insane, what brand is that?
Great video man. Just got the trial the other day and think it sounds sick. May do my own wee video about it as well!

what do u think about this plugin
I love it. Hopefully I expressed that in the video :)

I think he recorded CoaA with a modural Randall head, but Scott Atkins reamped the guitars using a 6505.
@@13guitard00d interesting, didn’t know this!
