I’ve got a 6.2 250 as well and this is interesting. I wonder if this customer still has the truck and if there are any maintenance or reliability issues due to the tune?
Nice video without 20 minutes of yak yakking. I have a 6.2 Fordoor 350 and a 5.7 Toyota 1/2 ton. The throttle response is quite a thing between the two. I’d be right over to your dyno except you are waaaay over dere in WI dang it…
There’s another tuner on here with the same truck making almost the same HP/TQ numbers but his truck has a CAI and headers. Either his tune sucks or the truck has an issue. Nice power gains on yours
@@cotyvanlannen4919 not sure what kind of dyno he’s using. Someone in the comments of that video referenced this video and he stated that they are two different dynos and software. Could be the reason.
@@thejuiceisloose8703, yes that could very well be the case. End of the day, the dyno is a tool. Sticking with one dyno throughout the car/truck journey of mods is the only true way of knowing what the modifications are doing. Whether good or bad. lol
I have a Ford 2018 F-250 Gas truck. I was told by Ford that it will tow a Camper maxed at 12,000 Lbs. Is it possible to increase performance and tow weight (GVWR ) to an additional 2,000 Lbs so that it can pull up to 14,000 Lbs.?
You could tow more with that truck but it's just not rated for more. The manufacture takes in to account the payload, frame and suspension. Towing is more than just pulling. It's also stopping and stability. I've seen people towing 25' trailers with a Toyota Tacoma. It will do it but probably not safely.
@@glitter_fart not according to Ford and RAM Towing charts. You can have the same model truck with the same wheelbase but if the engines or gearing is different so will your Towing capacity. Also you mentioned bumper which again the part number on the bumpers are the exact same across the same model. So a Ram 2500 tradesman with either the gas or diesel will have the same bumper but with different towing capacities. And apparently you're forgetting the fact that a lot of trucks have fifth wheel mounts and the mounts don't change even when you go from a 3/4 ton to a 1-ton truck. So again it has more to do with what engine and gearing you select within a specific model, they don't make one F-250 frame beefier than another F250 frame, the only thing that changes is the length based on the wheelbase.
Consider buying 2019-18 3/4 Chevy/GMC. 6.0 motor. What kind hp/tq gains ? Ball park I hear the mpg sucks. Can u tune 20-22 mpg at 65 mph?? Hear the 10 sp auto is great transmission. Thanks
Another dyno shop, Brenspeed did the same truck but had long tube headers and a KN CAI and made the same hp gains. How does your tune make the same hp numbers has someone else’s with long Tube headers and cai intake?
@@ashtonmcveigh9830 headers would have better low end. The video I referenced about Brenspeed, the guy runs a 87 tune so maybe thats why he’s not making bigger gains. Long tube headers should be good for an extra 35+ hp easily.

Disagree. I've owned a dirt business for 20 years dragging around excavators and skid steers with diesels. The best decision I ever made was buying my 6.2 gas. I love it.
Those 6.2 are crazy tuff motors. They are proven engines. We have some at work that have 300k

Definitely keep doing these videos. Great style and informative 👍

10% improvements are pretty good. Can you give ballpark on cost to tune? I have a 2021 6.2 Superduty.

What is the difference between having this type of tune done, and just using Sport Mode...?

The newer Ford and GM engines are made to break.
Make sure you buy a tow truck the day you buy your new truck
