My build is blasphemous blade. With mana refill tailsman for each kill with , fire increases tailsman, the 2 op tailsman. That give all the buffs to all the stats.
Mohgwyn Spear is easily S tier or even the best boss weapon right now with great moveset and a weapon art that can aoe clear all enemies (even annoying flying ones) around you. The weapon art can also be used on solo bosses as it applies bleed as well. The only weapon that I might consider over it is the Morgott Cursed Sword where you can now spam the weapon arts and you can roll after the animation pretty fast. Although I love Radahn Gs, it is honestly overrated with pretty low AR and slow moveset. I would out it around B tier or maybe A tier solely because of its looks and lore
you should try the fallenstar beast jaw's ash of war for pve. It absolutely destroys bosses like nothing and makes every enemy in the game seem trivial. Also use with alexander jar shard, magic scorpion charm, and attack boost at full hp charm
Anyone thinking Starscourge Greatswords shouldn’t be in the S Tier aren’t using them the right way. They’re what you turn to when a boss gets just a little bit too frustrating, and will get the job done.
@@oblivionriku0312 Idk I've had alot of fun with that weapon and my build. Obviously if all you do is spam the weapon art constantly yeah. But that spear is not only beautiful but has pretty good reach. Not to mention even if you do one burst of the weapon art there's still that lingering bloodflame on the tip. It has a pretty great jumping heavy attack. The weapon art I typically save for if I'm being rushed by a mob. Or I'll use the spell you get from The same boss. That has decent stopping power
One small thing - You can definitely take damage if you're in the animation for Dragon King's Cragblade, your character just won't flinch when they get hit. Very little aside from projectiles is going to hit you during the animation but it can for sure happen.
Fun fact- your hitbox while in Thundercloud form is actually a few feet in the air. I've used it a few times to dodge ground AOEs like some dragon lightning spells and the Wave of Gold WA, while attacking at the same time.
Thundercloud form just gives hyper armor but you can still take damage from all sources. Additionally, you deal a bit of damage to all enemies standing inside the thundercloud. Charging up the skill makes it so that you lunge further and have increased damage on the landing hit. Imo one of the best boss weapons, at least A tier and in certain situation even S tier
@@orion1644 I personally wouldn't call it S tier because of how unreliable it is for bosses, since it's a long animation it gives bosses a good chunk of time to start an attack that has super armor, but it at least has the trade off of being able to knock a lot of them down. It is at least A tier for sure though imo because the damage is really good and heavy thrusting swords actually attack decently quick. It's unique skill is also just incredibly good for shielded enemies, making some areas that can be absolutely brutal, like Castle Sol, just a complete pushover.
I gotta disagree with the Star-scourge being over Malikeths, Starscourge weapon art is abysmal in damage past base game. Whereas Malikeths destined death deals true damage, and percentage of a bosses hp while reducing said hp by thirty percent. On top of that, Radahnns loses the signature poke- and better move set. Even if it’s a little “slow”. Not to mention having the highest raw AR out of all colossals, Royal being second.
@@wulvenclave5821 Oh my bad, I coulda sworn it was 30. Cuz the chunking seemed huge to me on certain bosses, then again- it is percentage based so that’s probably why.
A thing that also has to be mentioned is that Radahn's swords have very low range among the collosal swords, which isn't helped by the moveset being mostly close range slashes. And what needs to be kept in mind is that due to the godly hitboxes of Elden Ring, it is entirely possible you'll end up hitting with only one of the swords not both, which can happen quite often due to the rather low range and due to the hitboxes/design of some bosses. Their biggest benefit aside from the massive cool factor, is that you get to powerstance two collosal swords for the weight of one. Making them more economical sort of. However it comes with the downside of being unable to 2 hand and thus you cannot get the 50% increased strength benefit. And if you can deal with the weight, nothing is stopping you from powerstancing two other collosal swords. They are really good swords, but they do have issues, and the low range + relatively slow speed are such notable problems in my opinion.
Maliketh's sword looks awesome on paper. But all of it's greatest strengths have massive caveats. It has the highest AR of all collosal swords, but it's split damage. Split holy damage. Which means that it's going to do way less against every single major boss (Holy damage really fucking sucks). The weapon art is very slow, and unless it was buffed in the new patch, is very easy to interrupt. The weapon art does 10%, not 30%. And unless you're fighting the Fire Giant, it probably won't out damage the Starscourge. Starscourge weapon art is great for AOE, and does good damage. At 70 int 38 strength, I was hitting 2500 damage. It's not meant to be used on massive bosses, it's meant for a human sized enemy. Starscourge will also always have a higher DPS because it's two swords in one. It will hit 1000+ damage all the time with one light. It also weighs less despite being 2 swords.
Been doing a colossal sword playthrough so I think I have the best opinions on this. In my opinion the best colossal sword in the game at +10 is 100% rahdahs greatswords. It differs on the bosses like right now im fighting Melania and im using a +25 trolls colossal greatsword and a +25 colossal great sword. Now obviously everything is depending on the boss. But malikeths ash of war is so difficult to get off and anytime ive used it I usually take huge amounts of damage
mohg's spear is easily the best boss weapon, it's op for both pve and pvp ( invasions not duels ) also Carian regal septer's ash of war deal insane damage and you should not avoid using it, other than these i agree with the rest
Mohg's spear is really really strong when invading in cramped areas, like legacy dungeons. Not great in the open world, however, since invasions usually involve multiple people, it makes them pretty ballsy, and think they can tank the weapon art. Have gotten several kills from that, sometimes I will purposely not heal when i lose some health, and use it while they are trying to finish me off. Also, great spears in general are very good for roll catching, so you arent at much of a disadvantage when it's down to a 1v1.
Aoe, high dps, bleed, Hit Behind walls, good horsemounting moveset, can be buffed via Blood exulation and successive dmg boost. It deserve higher spot.
Yo man, you missed something: Godfrey's axe has a second unique R2 that can only be performed after the first. It's slow, but launches opponents and looks really cool.

Man, Cragblade is godlike, you can turn corners with it, you can cancel the cloud at any time so you can learn to aim it VERY well, and it deals tons of damage, regular and posture
The ash of war of the scepter is very strong against enemies that use shields or when you are caught in close combat. It deals great damage and stuns enemies for a short time.
It's also very good if you use a mimic tear. It'll use the spinning move on bosses and stagger then for a couple seconds straight, letting you get in a couple hits or heal
The Cragblade weapon art is amazing. The moment you press the weapon art button, you get essentially infinite hyper armor. You cannot be staggered out of it. The only way to get interrupted is to die.
It’s my favourite weapon to use in pvp right now. It one shots most people in the lvl 80 bracket all the way to the lvl 200 bracket. I use it to trade strength builds and ganks since they just keep attacking thinking they can out poise you and you flatten them. The amount of times I’ve been in a sticky situation with a 3 man gank hot on my tail only for me to turn around and get a triple kill with it’s weapon art is crazy. Not to mention you can pair it with the godskin stitcher with something like thunder bolt or glintstone pebble for massive damage.
@@thefishgolderYeah, it's really good for the hyperarmor, and the moveset is pretty decent. It's sprint R2 has deceptively long range, and you can feint by pressing dodge while charge attacking. Also the ability to yell I AM THE STORM THAT IS APPROACHING while someone panic roll is great.
@@spikemedford3490 The problem is that nobody uses it and sees that it's actually good. Especially against large bosses because every explosions caused by nebula hits. So underrated.
With Elden Ring being my second souls game after Sekiro I went with magic originally to try and make things easier. However midway through the game I really started to enjoy the Dark Moon Greatsword, which helped me be more comfortable with melee. Decided to try Blasphemous Blade with unoptimized build. Only made stats work with helmet and talismans. It was still powerful and had great survivability. So I took the dive and respeced and played with it most of rest of the game. However being successful with another weapon/build built my confidence further. I started experimenting with many weapons and builds. This game and it’s insane build variety with the colossal amount of content really is amazing and at least for me, likely will have a good bit of replayability. Recently beat game. Finishing up finding last missed night bosses and dungeons and going to farm some upgrade materials and will start NG+. I’m only missing the Elden Lord and Frenzied Flame ending trophies to get the platinum. Don’t think I’ve ever looked forward to replaying a game on NG+ this much before!
Ive found bastard stars to be helpful exploring mines or fighting crystilans, the strike damage class is basically the only thing that can make it viable
Something worth noting about the red braid whip, is the art of war is a true combo to enemies and players without super high poise. This makes it amazing for PvP if you can catch a low poise opponent off guard with it
Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear is S tier IMO. This weapon is no way slept on due to it's incredible scaling stats with strength and arcane. Plus being a great spear what's fantastic about it is that you can turtle up behind a greatshield for most amount of protection and poke to your heart's content. The only other good weapon which can do this is the same way while having a cool ash of war with good stats is the bolt of grasnax. Plus not to mention Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear also gets bleed for that sweet sweet blood loss, it is definitely not B tier by any means! Other than that I actually agree with this tier list wholeheartedly.
I implore y'all try out whips once. Not necessarily this one, just equip 2 whips to dual wield them, go to the artist's shack in Liurnia, and catch the Leyndell knight that patrols there. Upgrades don't matter for this experiment. I never even considered using whips before respeccing into an arcane caster build and looking for a fallback melee weapon. I tried out a lot of them and was really surprised by whips, because they pretty much stunlock everything! The range is also very good, you can catch dogs circling around you. If you are using an arcane build, occult, or bleed infusing 2 Hoslow whips will give you extra bleed, making up for the relatively low damage, and the strike damage type will come in handy against skeletons and imps. They are also pretty lightweight. But really, it's the stunlock potential that surprised me the most. And to do so, while you're out of range to most enemies is a big bonus. The biggest downside is that you'll be at a large disadvantage against enemies that can't be staggered, especially since the 2nd hit in the dual wielded combo is pretty long.
I love running both of the gargoyles twin blades, putting Loretta’s slash with cold on the standard one. Really fun strength build that feels like dex too
Excellent list! I'd agree with most of this, but I'd put Mohg's weapon WAAAAY higher, and potentially put Godrick's dragon arm lower. The dragon arm just takes too long to wind up, and the enemy needs to be on top of you in order for it to deal any kind of decent damage. And as for Mohg's weapon....it has just.....so many amazing things going for it to keep it at B. Even in your own video you had nothing negative to say about it
@@brandonh8944 you’re probably thinking of the regular spinning weapon, the regal scepter has a completely different one with more range, a stun lock, and int scaling that gives it huge damage (5-6 times the normal ash at least) but most people think it’s the same as the others and don’t use it. Kinda sad.
Gonna have to disagree with Bastard’s Stars. While it may be outclassed that doesn’t make it unviable, nebula alone is incredibly strong. While the flail may not be the greatest of weapon types simply saying a weapon is D tier for the sole reason of better option doesn’t make something bad
The best of the worst doesn't make it good. It doesn't make it bad either though. I used it instead for PVE because I needed blunt damage with my moonviel
Except most bosses are really resistant against holy, making it with three exceptions the worst damage type against 95% of all bosses. The only ones "weak" to it are death rite birds, the cemetery shade and the skeletons/ normal undead or "tarnished" let's be honest the normal enemies are just generic Ds undead.
And the black blade still does over 1k a light attack to bosses for perspective on its optimized damage, it’s weapon art will do upwards of 10k in the right situation. Holy damage or not, it’s one of the highest damage weapons in the game, boss or not.
Mohgwen Spear is fkn busted, perfect wave clear weapon, can melt bosses (I destroyed Melania after NG+ after actually struggling using anything else) and it applies blood loss on the fly. I also love Blasphemous blade, a great dungeon crawler weapon
I think all boss weapons and ordinary weapons are all good, because depending on your build, you can turn them from a useless item, into a god slaying item.
Are of Godfrey is one of the strongest colossal weapons in the game and the special launches almost every single non boss enemy into the air. I think you were off on that one, I was using it offhand when I beat Melania

Few reason why the black blade is at least A tier, it’s has a four hit chain, which is incredibly rare on colossal weapons. When you max it out and build correctly for it (just leveling not even talismans) it deals over 1k damage a light attack (which I’ve gotten to over 6k in four hits with talismans). The weapon art can stagger/knock back three times, while doing from 2-5k damage depending on how much of it connects, one of the highest in the game for both poise and raw damage numbers. It’s also cool, fight me. It’ll solo melania in just weapon art spam at melee range, but the sprint attack, jump attack, four hit attack chain, and roll poke makes it one of the best colossal weapons in the entire game, period, it feels like a katana that staggers on every hit.
At the end of the Day, regardless of what you're using for pve. It all depends on which one you like the most. Sure, this talks about Weapons in an objective level, but of you're playing for fun, you'll Choose whatever you like. And that's 100% fine So far im liking godrick's dragon fist
You do take damage with the DKC, it's just you have true hyperarmor during thundercloud form, and since you're in the air during it, you're immune to certain ground attacks and even some of enemies' projectiles will go underneath you. It's WA also does tons of damage and stagger. A tier, and amazing in pvp if you fight a player who never fought against the WA before. The only way you lose a trade with your WA is if you get one shot moments before you hit (if you hit)
I was hoping to see it on the list too but I guess it’s a sleeper. I maxed it out just in case I struggle with a boss lol not my favorite play style but I love it’s special attack.
I thought I was the only one that used that weapon. The beast jaw ash of war just obliterates bosses and staggers them in 3-4 hits and the range is insane!
Im sad that axe of godfrey was D tier, i love the enraged moveset. Plenty of hyper armor, and if the shockwave doesnt knock them up, the leg sweep more times then not can tumble an enemy
Absolutely sleeping on the mohgwyn spear bruh. On an strength arcane build it's a beast that can indefinitely stagger bosses and players all while causing bleed to proc in seconds. You can take it to another level by getting a second one and powerstancing, a single running L1s near guarantee a stagger and bleed proc on anything save the fire giant
If you consider death birds as bosses, death poker is pretty good IMO. Awesome frost build up and the lgiht attack with the skill has good range and the damage ticks for a fair while.
Maliketh's Sword and Radagon's hammer are my fav weapons, I just love every aspect of them gameplay and lore wise and Maliketh and Radagon are my fav guys in the game, so win win for me ig
I know this is your perspective and completely based on your experience playing with these weapons, but I disagree with some of your rankings. Mohg's spear is an easy S tier, same with the Black Blade and the spinning weapon ash of war on Rennala's staff is super useful and much more powerful than the ash of war you buy from Rogier.
Man hasn’t tried the black blade out much, with the right setup the four hit chain does more than 7k damage, with a weapon art capable of more than 10k, and that can be chained together for 7 staggers in a row and 17k+ damage. Radahns falls off late, malikeths only gets stronger.

@@vortiger9807 I do, I have 56 str, 60 fai, and 60 dex and with no buffs the first light attack does more than 1k damage, it also has better range and speed than a lot of colossal weapons and a four hit chain which is really nice. You use the weapon art point blank it will stagger twice and knock back on the last part. Meaning you can land a 7 hit stagger chain on things that can get staggered like melenia (the chain also does like 15k damage).
Dragon King’s Cragblade may be B tier for you but once you get used to the Ash of War it absolutely slaps. Upwards of 2k damage unbuffed at +10. The skill does NOT make you invincible to attacks but DOES give you unbreakable hyperarmor from frame 1 until the end. Landing it is sometimes janky in PvP but in PvE with the big bosses it’s much easier. Additionally, the Ash of War’s cloud has a hitbox-so if you use it while near an enemy you can stunlock them into taking the rest of the attack if they have low hyperarmor. Finally, the amount of staggers and critical opportunities you can get by using the afore-mentioned method is absolutely insane. In my opinion it’s at least A-tier, if not S-tier for the godly damage once it lands.
The Carian regal scepter’s weapon art is nuts. It’s completely different from the regular spinning weapon ash of war. Not only does it deal more damage than it, it staggers the shit out of enemies. If you have a dedicated int build past 70 int that spinning weapon ash of war will do 1000-1500 damage and the enemy will be staggered for the entire duration meaning once they get hit they’ll be hit for the full damage. And since no one really uses it, it’s super easy to catch people with.
You forgot Rykard's Serpent Hunter which I know you lose the wind attack but hear me out. It has great scaling on a strength build and has a very good moveset being a greatspear. The running R2 is the classic spear running attack for roll catching but on a great spear so it is unparryable and is actually an ash of war in this game normally seen on the lance. Also I know you can't buff it or add different ashes of war (which is a questionable choice) but if you are able to land the ash of war it has it does 2200ish damage with a even harder hitting follow up attack. Also since it's a spear you can hide behind a shield if you'd like. Great PvP weapon overall and solid PvE weapon as well.
I used the Dragon King Cragblade for most of my new game + play through and once I reached later areas I found this was fantastic at dealing with stronger enemies such as the banished knights at Crumbling Azula or the Cleanrot Knights. The thundercloud form I would just use and it would take them out in one hit or stagger them upon the first hit, making a second attack from the thundercloud form easy to hit. The bonus of you being invincible in thundercloud form is also good, and another thing I liked is you control the direction it goes, so you can to an extent move the cloud to create a unique pathing. It’s definitely not a weapon for everyone but I really enjoyed using it. It’s also very good (thundercloud form) against the npc invaders as well!
I love that Marika’s Hammer was so high up. You forgot to mention that not only does it have a nice hit combo and powerful ash of war, but hammers also deal great poise damage, so guard counters and it’s quick heavy attacks are devastating.
The crag blade should be S tiered from the fact you can’t interrupt the weapon art. Plus if you’re using both of Millicent’s talismans plus the wonderful physick that gives you more damage on successive attacks this weapons extremely viable against basically every single boss paired with a magic armament shield. There’s a small percentage of people who actually use shields correctly in the game lol, if you’re not using a thrusting weapon your shield build is flawed
I'm not gonna say it's S tier, Iam gonna say that heavy thrusting swords in general are incredibly underrated. Their moveset is extremely good and the play style has very high skill expression. So this having a powerful Ash with a rare damage type definitely deserves more effort to learn
@@KaaliaJeht for me personally I’m beyond irritated whenever I get taken out of my ash of war attack so this weapon not being able to have that done makes it S tier to me. I don’t use it much anymore because I can do more damage with the antspur rapier , but itd be my next best option if I wasn’t taking advantage of the Varres mask and the lord of blood talisman lol. And plus if your really good with the crag blade aiming wise you can actually dodge attacks in the thundercloud form while still coming around to hit the target, the weapon is definitely S tier in the right hands. There’s definitely a skill gap to using it 100% effectively which is why I feel like most people won’t rank it where it deserves to be. Just try getting the hang of using the ash of war without locking on to the opponent so your not always trading attacks
@@Everythinggoodstaken If you're spacing and timing correctly you're using your skill when you won't be interrupted, so being immune just increases the scenarios where you can use it. It's very dodgable and since you can only travel so far, your opponents can pretty easily predict where you'll be which can get you in trouble as well. It's a very good weapon but I wouldn't push for it to be called s tier, but definitely better than op placed it
@@KaaliaJeht that’s the thing though, it’s a spear that does thrusting attacks so you’re literally just trying to get distance to use the ash of war. Plus you’re literally only using the weapon to spam the ash of war. You don’t have unlimited mana and there aren’t many boss fights when you can constantly use that, maybe a few times but it’s not worth it. I put a summoning sign down for Hourah Loux often and half the time I see somebody using that just staying in a corner basically because that’s the only time you can use it properly lol. You have to use summons basically to use the bolt ash of war often, otherwise you’ll get rushed by bosses or fodder and not be able to use it. Once again the crag blade you only need to be about 20 ft away from the target and you can hit them, of course the range is shorter but the weapon is actually good to use without spamming the ash of war. Using ash of wars etc is honestly stupid af in most boss fights unless there’s a short period that gives you time you use it. Just gonna say I have a ridiculous amount of hours played and I respect your opinion. But... I’m gonna have to agree to disagree with you on this one.

I will say the crag blade is s tier against anything weak to lightning ⚡️. I discovered that if you use the Ashe of war on a iron virgin and then poke them once it will stagger them making those annoying enemies easy to deal with.

The skill can be really good at bosses though, helped me melt Placidusax after a view tries with different equipment (trying to make a str/fth build, fucking around with lots of different weapons) edit: oh you mentioned it, nvm ^^
Malenia’s Kitana also can get bodied in pvp bc of lack of poise in the waterfowl dance and doesn’t have the god tier range or tracking that Malenia has when she uses it! Also it just doesn’t do enough dmg for how long it takes and most bosses and even beefier enemies are going to knock you out of the animation because of the lack of poise you have when casting/performing the move.
Without it she would probably be too cheesable. I think they want to discourage you from just shield tanking her and force you to actually engage with her in a duel. I honestly appreciate it

It's balanced by her super low poise imo. If you can consistently pressure her she barely gets to swing, you just have to watch out for the 2-3 attacks she can poise through. I think she's easiest with fast melee builds which might be part of why so many people have problems

i'm just gonna say it here. please don't use any blood weapon against Radagon or elden beast. they are immune to blood loss. i swear to god i can't count the many times i see people with moghs spear or ROB. SPREAD THE WORD!

I liked your video, it was well made an narrated, however I’ve really got to disagree with some of them. I know it’s your opinion so I’m not going to say you’re wrong, but it’s clear you didn’t test any of these in PvP. Hand of Melania for example is probably C. Low damage and easy ash of earth to dodge. Same for the giant whip, the urami objectively does better damage, has bleed and can be buffed or infused with fire. Mohgwyn’s spear is *very* effective in PvP and PvE. I like Marika’s hammer but again, in PvP it’s kinda useless. There are some others in PvE that are better or worse imo. That’s just my 2 cents, glad I found your channel!

If godriks axe gets a scaling buff or alternatively great axes get sweeping buffs I am going to make a quality build just to make good use of this axe, it's requirements are high but I love the ash and heavy animation.
i havent played this game yet, and i havent divulged myself in almost any lore at all whatsoever, but my GOD do i wanna experience this game so fucking BADDDD!!! i can infer from what very little ive gathered, and im sure im entirely wrong about all of it in some fashion, that its basically about taking on a quest larger than life itself, going to some sort of omnipotent deity and taking its place, and on the way, you become ever-increasingly powerful, eventually taking on beings like Starscourge Radahn, who from the literal 4 seconds of gameplay footage looks to be a boss fight set entirely within its own pocket dimension of this universe. and going by the name, appearance, and setting of the boss, this dude is nothing to fuck around with, lore-wise. honestly seems like my exact type of game, being a lover of open worlds with lots to explore, epic tales of cinematic proportions, existential philosophy, and cosmic/eldritch creatures and settings. once i get my mitts on this game, i really highly doubt ill see sunlight ever again. genuinely
I will say powerstancing 2 Giants Red Braid's is a real game changer. Weapon feels so much better and it's great in PvE and PvP. Honestly pushes it up to B at least A imo. Mohgs gotta be higher. Amazing in PvE and PvP. I paired it with the FingerPrint stone shield and I can't be hurt, deal out solid poke damage, and can AoE bleed down no problem. Malenia was the only boss that gave me trouble because she was able to heal faster than I could damage her by hitting my shield. A at least, S imo. I like Marika's hammer but it's got such short range to pair with not a ton of stagger so it really feels wonky to me when using in heated moments. Ash of war is fun. I don't think I could put it above B personally. I don't get why you like the star scourge so much. The damage output looks the same as what Malikeths blade does for me and the swinging looks about the same speed. Ash of war is nice for crowd control but takes so long that it doesn't seem viable for the huge boss fights or the really big enemies that you see in late game. Agree with the Carian Regal Scepter. Must use for all sorcerers. Agree with the blasphemous blade. My brother will powerstance this with the FP regen greatsword (that being in his off hand) so then he's getting HP and FP each kill. He's the ultimate cooperator because he rarely has to use flasks. Overall a nice list but does feel like you didn't use a few of them to their top potential.
The Ashe of War on the Carian Regal Scepter is the real reason it should be S rank as it instantly and consecutively staggers enemies, great damage and range. I used it for my first play through and broke the game.
About an hour ago, my mimic and I smacked and stunlocked Malania into a deep grave lol.... we used Maliketh's black blade. It was the 1st time I beat her.❤

Blasphemous blade carried me through the endgame. I used the treespear up until then and bosses like Astel fucked me up. I got the blasphemous blade and everything fell into place. Malenia took me about five tries with a mimic and blasphemous blade. Now that I understand Soulsborne mechanics much better after a 120 hour run in Elden Ring, I want to do a harder build
The thing with blasphemous blade, you don’t gain health from enemies you kill with it, you gain health if an enemy dies regardless aslong as you are holding the sword. So an enemy could fall of an edge and die ages away and you’d get the health. I remember going through the sewers and I’d just gain health while roaming, all the time
If you equip blasphemous in your left hand, you can use your right hand weapond and it still gives you the health regen when you kill with their right weapon. I started to us it with my bloodhounds fang and it's great.
Axe of Godfrey at D??? Goddamn, someone hated Colossals when this video dropped. I did a playthrough with that weapon and it’s an amazing poise monster weapon, especially with Regal Roar and its R2’s. Trading with high poise has never felt more satisfying
As others have said Mohgs Sacred Spear should be S tier, but also, the Regal scepter ash of war his like a bazillion times per second, which combos really great with millicents prosthesis
I thought Melayna was such an unfair boss, you really need that blood loss bleed up to beat her. Margott was my favorite though. And the twist of Radahn being Marika was so good. Great video and stellar pronunciation!
The prince of deaths staff is actually better than both the regal sceptre and lusats staff, it just requires added faith investment, which opens up for incantations too
Blasphemous blade will carry you through the game with just the ash of war spamming. It's one of the best melee weapon with an unchangeable ashe of war. Was gonna say the best. But with bleed in its current state the best is rivers

My build is blasphemous blade. With mana refill tailsman for each kill with , fire increases tailsman, the 2 op tailsman. That give all the buffs to all the stats.

Mohgwyn Spear is easily S tier or even the best boss weapon right now with great moveset and a weapon art that can aoe clear all enemies (even annoying flying ones) around you. The weapon art can also be used on solo bosses as it applies bleed as well. The only weapon that I might consider over it is the Morgott Cursed Sword where you can now spam the weapon arts and you can roll after the animation pretty fast. Although I love Radahn Gs, it is honestly overrated with pretty low AR and slow moveset. I would out it around B tier or maybe A tier solely because of its looks and lore
you should try the fallenstar beast jaw's ash of war for pve. It absolutely destroys bosses like nothing and makes every enemy in the game seem trivial. Also use with alexander jar shard, magic scorpion charm, and attack boost at full hp charm

It has a pretty great jumping heavy attack. The weapon art I typically save for if I'm being rushed by a mob. Or I'll use the spell you get from The same boss. That has decent stopping power
One small thing - You can definitely take damage if you're in the animation for Dragon King's Cragblade, your character just won't flinch when they get hit. Very little aside from projectiles is going to hit you during the animation but it can for sure happen.

It has hyperarmor, a lot of spells and AOW seem to as well. Definitely makes them better than without at least.
Fun fact- your hitbox while in Thundercloud form is actually a few feet in the air. I've used it a few times to dodge ground AOEs like some dragon lightning spells and the Wave of Gold WA, while attacking at the same time.
Thundercloud form just gives hyper armor but you can still take damage from all sources.
Additionally, you deal a bit of damage to all enemies standing inside the thundercloud.
Charging up the skill makes it so that you lunge further and have increased damage on the landing hit.
Imo one of the best boss weapons, at least A tier and in certain situation even S tier
@@orion1644 I personally wouldn't call it S tier because of how unreliable it is for bosses, since it's a long animation it gives bosses a good chunk of time to start an attack that has super armor, but it at least has the trade off of being able to knock a lot of them down.
It is at least A tier for sure though imo because the damage is really good and heavy thrusting swords actually attack decently quick. It's unique skill is also just incredibly good for shielded enemies, making some areas that can be absolutely brutal, like Castle Sol, just a complete pushover.
I gotta disagree with the Star-scourge being over Malikeths, Starscourge weapon art is abysmal in damage past base game. Whereas Malikeths destined death deals true damage, and percentage of a bosses hp while reducing said hp by thirty percent. On top of that, Radahnns loses the signature poke- and better move set. Even if it’s a little “slow”. Not to mention having the highest raw AR out of all colossals, Royal being second.

A thing that also has to be mentioned is that Radahn's swords have very low range among the collosal swords, which isn't helped by the moveset being mostly close range slashes.
And what needs to be kept in mind is that due to the godly hitboxes of Elden Ring, it is entirely possible you'll end up hitting with only one of the swords not both, which can happen quite often due to the rather low range and due to the hitboxes/design of some bosses.
Their biggest benefit aside from the massive cool factor, is that you get to powerstance two collosal swords for the weight of one. Making them more economical sort of. However it comes with the downside of being unable to 2 hand and thus you cannot get the 50% increased strength benefit. And if you can deal with the weight, nothing is stopping you from powerstancing two other collosal swords.
They are really good swords, but they do have issues, and the low range + relatively slow speed are such notable problems in my opinion.
Maliketh's sword looks awesome on paper. But all of it's greatest strengths have massive caveats. It has the highest AR of all collosal swords, but it's split damage. Split holy damage. Which means that it's going to do way less against every single major boss (Holy damage really fucking sucks). The weapon art is very slow, and unless it was buffed in the new patch, is very easy to interrupt. The weapon art does 10%, not 30%. And unless you're fighting the Fire Giant, it probably won't out damage the Starscourge. Starscourge weapon art is great for AOE, and does good damage. At 70 int 38 strength, I was hitting 2500 damage. It's not meant to be used on massive bosses, it's meant for a human sized enemy. Starscourge will also always have a higher DPS because it's two swords in one. It will hit 1000+ damage all the time with one light. It also weighs less despite being 2 swords.
Been doing a colossal sword playthrough so I think I have the best opinions on this. In my opinion the best colossal sword in the game at +10 is 100% rahdahs greatswords. It differs on the bosses like right now im fighting Melania and im using a +25 trolls colossal greatsword and a +25 colossal great sword. Now obviously everything is depending on the boss. But malikeths ash of war is so difficult to get off and anytime ive used it I usually take huge amounts of damage
mohg's spear is easily the best boss weapon, it's op for both pve and pvp ( invasions not duels ) also Carian regal septer's ash of war deal insane damage and you should not avoid using it, other than these i agree with the rest

Mohg's spear is really really strong when invading in cramped areas, like legacy dungeons. Not great in the open world, however, since invasions usually involve multiple people, it makes them pretty ballsy, and think they can tank the weapon art. Have gotten several kills from that, sometimes I will purposely not heal when i lose some health, and use it while they are trying to finish me off. Also, great spears in general are very good for roll catching, so you arent at much of a disadvantage when it's down to a 1v1.
Aoe, high dps, bleed, Hit Behind walls, good horsemounting moveset, can be buffed via Blood exulation and successive dmg boost. It deserve higher spot.

Man, Cragblade is godlike, you can turn corners with it, you can cancel the cloud at any time so you can learn to aim it VERY well, and it deals tons of damage, regular and posture
The ash of war of the scepter is very strong against enemies that use shields or when you are caught in close combat. It deals great damage and stuns enemies for a short time.
Add a few talismans and it honestly melts bosses as well
Completely broken for pvp as well
It's also very good if you use a mimic tear. It'll use the spinning move on bosses and stagger then for a couple seconds straight, letting you get in a couple hits or heal

The Cragblade weapon art is amazing. The moment you press the weapon art button, you get essentially infinite hyper armor. You cannot be staggered out of it. The only way to get interrupted is to die.

It’s my favourite weapon to use in pvp right now. It one shots most people in the lvl 80 bracket all the way to the lvl 200 bracket. I use it to trade strength builds and ganks since they just keep attacking thinking they can out poise you and you flatten them. The amount of times I’ve been in a sticky situation with a 3 man gank hot on my tail only for me to turn around and get a triple kill with it’s weapon art is crazy. Not to mention you can pair it with the godskin stitcher with something like thunder bolt or glintstone pebble for massive damage.
@@thefishgolderYeah, it's really good for the hyperarmor, and the moveset is pretty decent. It's sprint R2 has deceptively long range, and you can feint by pressing dodge while charge attacking. Also the ability to yell I AM THE STORM THAT IS APPROACHING while someone panic roll is great.
Astel’s flail is actually quite useful against armored/crystal enemies, esp when paired with Moonveil (int/dex build). YMMV
I couldn’t kill Elden beast with some op weapons but I used that flail and beat him first try

With Elden Ring being my second souls game after Sekiro I went with magic originally to try and make things easier. However midway through the game I really started to enjoy the Dark Moon Greatsword, which helped me be more comfortable with melee.
Decided to try Blasphemous Blade with unoptimized build. Only made stats work with helmet and talismans. It was still powerful and had great survivability. So I took the dive and respeced and played with it most of rest of the game. However being successful with another weapon/build built my confidence further. I started experimenting with many weapons and builds. This game and it’s insane build variety with the colossal amount of content really is amazing and at least for me, likely will have a good bit of replayability.
Recently beat game. Finishing up finding last missed night bosses and dungeons and going to farm some upgrade materials and will start NG+. I’m only missing the Elden Lord and Frenzied Flame ending trophies to get the platinum. Don’t think I’ve ever looked forward to replaying a game on NG+ this much before!

Something worth noting about the red braid whip, is the art of war is a true combo to enemies and players without super high poise. This makes it amazing for PvP if you can catch a low poise opponent off guard with it

Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear is S tier IMO. This weapon is no way slept on due to it's incredible scaling stats with strength and arcane. Plus being a great spear what's fantastic about it is that you can turtle up behind a greatshield for most amount of protection and poke to your heart's content. The only other good weapon which can do this is the same way while having a cool ash of war with good stats is the bolt of grasnax.
Plus not to mention Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear also gets bleed for that sweet sweet blood loss, it is definitely not B tier by any means! Other than that I actually agree with this tier list wholeheartedly.
I implore y'all try out whips once. Not necessarily this one, just equip 2 whips to dual wield them, go to the artist's shack in Liurnia, and catch the Leyndell knight that patrols there. Upgrades don't matter for this experiment.
I never even considered using whips before respeccing into an arcane caster build and looking for a fallback melee weapon. I tried out a lot of them and was really surprised by whips, because they pretty much stunlock everything! The range is also very good, you can catch dogs circling around you. If you are using an arcane build, occult, or bleed infusing 2 Hoslow whips will give you extra bleed, making up for the relatively low damage, and the strike damage type will come in handy against skeletons and imps. They are also pretty lightweight. But really, it's the stunlock potential that surprised me the most. And to do so, while you're out of range to most enemies is a big bonus.
The biggest downside is that you'll be at a large disadvantage against enemies that can't be staggered, especially since the 2nd hit in the dual wielded combo is pretty long.
I love running both of the gargoyles twin blades, putting Loretta’s slash with cold on the standard one. Really fun strength build that feels like dex too
Excellent list! I'd agree with most of this, but I'd put Mohg's weapon WAAAAY higher, and potentially put Godrick's dragon arm lower. The dragon arm just takes too long to wind up, and the enemy needs to be on top of you in order for it to deal any kind of decent damage.
And as for Mohg's weapon....it has just.....so many amazing things going for it to keep it at B. Even in your own video you had nothing negative to say about it

Gonna have to disagree with Bastard’s Stars. While it may be outclassed that doesn’t make it unviable, nebula alone is incredibly strong. While the flail may not be the greatest of weapon types simply saying a weapon is D tier for the sole reason of better option doesn’t make something bad

Except most bosses are really resistant against holy, making it with three exceptions the worst damage type against 95% of all bosses. The only ones "weak" to it are death rite birds, the cemetery shade and the skeletons/ normal undead or "tarnished" let's be honest the normal enemies are just generic Ds undead.
And the black blade still does over 1k a light attack to bosses for perspective on its optimized damage, it’s weapon art will do upwards of 10k in the right situation. Holy damage or not, it’s one of the highest damage weapons in the game, boss or not.
Moghs spear is absolute S+
Mohgwen Spear is fkn busted, perfect wave clear weapon, can melt bosses (I destroyed Melania after NG+ after actually struggling using anything else) and it applies blood loss on the fly. I also love Blasphemous blade, a great dungeon crawler weapon
I think all boss weapons and ordinary weapons are all good, because depending on your build, you can turn them from a useless item, into a god slaying item.
I used duel uchi for such a long time and it was pretty good 🤷

If you didn’t know, any of these weapons can be obtained twice in a single playthru. Remembrances can be duplicated at the mausoleums & just pick the same weapon
Few reason why the black blade is at least A tier, it’s has a four hit chain, which is incredibly rare on colossal weapons. When you max it out and build correctly for it (just leveling not even talismans) it deals over 1k damage a light attack (which I’ve gotten to over 6k in four hits with talismans). The weapon art can stagger/knock back three times, while doing from 2-5k damage depending on how much of it connects, one of the highest in the game for both poise and raw damage numbers. It’s also cool, fight me. It’ll solo melania in just weapon art spam at melee range, but the sprint attack, jump attack, four hit attack chain, and roll poke makes it one of the best colossal weapons in the entire game, period, it feels like a katana that staggers on every hit.
At the end of the Day, regardless of what you're using for pve. It all depends on which one you like the most.
Sure, this talks about Weapons in an objective level, but of you're playing for fun, you'll Choose whatever you like. And that's 100% fine

An underrated use for Bastard Stars is that its a strike weapon for mages with low strength.
After 4 hours of trying different strats, Mohg's spear got me through malenia with ease, that thing have ridiculous damage.
You do take damage with the DKC, it's just you have true hyperarmor during thundercloud form, and since you're in the air during it, you're immune to certain ground attacks and even some of enemies' projectiles will go underneath you. It's WA also does tons of damage and stagger. A tier, and amazing in pvp if you fight a player who never fought against the WA before. The only way you lose a trade with your WA is if you get one shot moments before you hit (if you hit)
Have you ever duel wielded whips? It's insane the amount of damage you can put out, and the range in them is insane when you get used to it.

Absolutely sleeping on the mohgwyn spear bruh. On an strength arcane build it's a beast that can indefinitely stagger bosses and players all while causing bleed to proc in seconds. You can take it to another level by getting a second one and powerstancing, a single running L1s near guarantee a stagger and bleed proc on anything save the fire giant

If you consider death birds as bosses, death poker is pretty good IMO. Awesome frost build up and the lgiht attack with the skill has good range and the damage ticks for a fair while.

I know this is your perspective and completely based on your experience playing with these weapons, but I disagree with some of your rankings. Mohg's spear is an easy S tier, same with the Black Blade and the spinning weapon ash of war on Rennala's staff is super useful and much more powerful than the ash of war you buy from Rogier.
Man hasn’t tried the black blade out much, with the right setup the four hit chain does more than 7k damage, with a weapon art capable of more than 10k, and that can be chained together for 7 staggers in a row and 17k+ damage. Radahns falls off late, malikeths only gets stronger.

@@vortiger9807 I do, I have 56 str, 60 fai, and 60 dex and with no buffs the first light attack does more than 1k damage, it also has better range and speed than a lot of colossal weapons and a four hit chain which is really nice. You use the weapon art point blank it will stagger twice and knock back on the last part. Meaning you can land a 7 hit stagger chain on things that can get staggered like melenia (the chain also does like 15k damage).
Dragon King’s Cragblade may be B tier for you but once you get used to the Ash of War it absolutely slaps. Upwards of 2k damage unbuffed at +10.
The skill does NOT make you invincible to attacks but DOES give you unbreakable hyperarmor from frame 1 until the end. Landing it is sometimes janky in PvP but in PvE with the big bosses it’s much easier. Additionally, the Ash of War’s cloud has a hitbox-so if you use it while near an enemy you can stunlock them into taking the rest of the attack if they have low hyperarmor. Finally, the amount of staggers and critical opportunities you can get by using the afore-mentioned method is absolutely insane. In my opinion it’s at least A-tier, if not S-tier for the godly damage once it lands.
The Carian regal scepter’s weapon art is nuts. It’s completely different from the regular spinning weapon ash of war.
Not only does it deal more damage than it, it staggers the shit out of enemies. If you have a dedicated int build past 70 int that spinning weapon ash of war will do 1000-1500 damage and the enemy will be staggered for the entire duration meaning once they get hit they’ll be hit for the full damage. And since no one really uses it, it’s super easy to catch people with.

You forgot Rykard's Serpent Hunter which I know you lose the wind attack but hear me out. It has great scaling on a strength build and has a very good moveset being a greatspear. The running R2 is the classic spear running attack for roll catching but on a great spear so it is unparryable and is actually an ash of war in this game normally seen on the lance. Also I know you can't buff it or add different ashes of war (which is a questionable choice) but if you are able to land the ash of war it has it does 2200ish damage with a even harder hitting follow up attack. Also since it's a spear you can hide behind a shield if you'd like. Great PvP weapon overall and solid PvE weapon as well.

I used the Dragon King Cragblade for most of my new game + play through and once I reached later areas I found this was fantastic at dealing with stronger enemies such as the banished knights at Crumbling Azula or the Cleanrot Knights. The thundercloud form I would just use and it would take them out in one hit or stagger them upon the first hit, making a second attack from the thundercloud form easy to hit. The bonus of you being invincible in thundercloud form is also good, and another thing I liked is you control the direction it goes, so you can to an extent move the cloud to create a unique pathing. It’s definitely not a weapon for everyone but I really enjoyed using it. It’s also very good (thundercloud form) against the npc invaders as well!
I love that Marika’s Hammer was so high up. You forgot to mention that not only does it have a nice hit combo and powerful ash of war, but hammers also deal great poise damage, so guard counters and it’s quick heavy attacks are devastating.
Blasphemous blade has been my go to since I got it
i love how every weapon is actually viable and usable, there’s the better weapons but none are particularly bad
We need some sugar after so many bad weapons in past games
The crag blade should be S tiered from the fact you can’t interrupt the weapon art. Plus if you’re using both of Millicent’s talismans plus the wonderful physick that gives you more damage on successive attacks this weapons extremely viable against basically every single boss paired with a magic armament shield. There’s a small percentage of people who actually use shields correctly in the game lol, if you’re not using a thrusting weapon your shield build is flawed
I'm not gonna say it's S tier, Iam gonna say that heavy thrusting swords in general are incredibly underrated. Their moveset is extremely good and the play style has very high skill expression. So this having a powerful Ash with a rare damage type definitely deserves more effort to learn
@@KaaliaJeht for me personally I’m beyond irritated whenever I get taken out of my ash of war attack so this weapon not being able to have that done makes it S tier to me. I don’t use it much anymore because I can do more damage with the antspur rapier , but itd be my next best option if I wasn’t taking advantage of the Varres mask and the lord of blood talisman lol. And plus if your really good with the crag blade aiming wise you can actually dodge attacks in the thundercloud form while still coming around to hit the target, the weapon is definitely S tier in the right hands. There’s definitely a skill gap to using it 100% effectively which is why I feel like most people won’t rank it where it deserves to be. Just try getting the hang of using the ash of war without locking on to the opponent so your not always trading attacks
@@Everythinggoodstaken If you're spacing and timing correctly you're using your skill when you won't be interrupted, so being immune just increases the scenarios where you can use it. It's very dodgable and since you can only travel so far, your opponents can pretty easily predict where you'll be which can get you in trouble as well. It's a very good weapon but I wouldn't push for it to be called s tier, but definitely better than op placed it
@@KaaliaJeht that’s the thing though, it’s a spear that does thrusting attacks so you’re literally just trying to get distance to use the ash of war. Plus you’re literally only using the weapon to spam the ash of war. You don’t have unlimited mana and there aren’t many boss fights when you can constantly use that, maybe a few times but it’s not worth it. I put a summoning sign down for Hourah Loux often and half the time I see somebody using that just staying in a corner basically because that’s the only time you can use it properly lol. You have to use summons basically to use the bolt ash of war often, otherwise you’ll get rushed by bosses or fodder and not be able to use it. Once again the crag blade you only need to be about 20 ft away from the target and you can hit them, of course the range is shorter but the weapon is actually good to use without spamming the ash of war. Using ash of wars etc is honestly stupid af in most boss fights unless there’s a short period that gives you time you use it. Just gonna say I have a ridiculous amount of hours played and I respect your opinion. But... I’m gonna have to agree to disagree with you on this one.

I will say the crag blade is s tier against anything weak to lightning ⚡️. I discovered that if you use the Ashe of war on a iron virgin and then poke them once it will stagger them making those annoying enemies easy to deal with.

Thanks Adam! Black blade is solid, I personally think the normal attack animation are too slow so that's why I knocked it down a bit
@@norzza did you take in mind the recent patch that buffed colossal weapons somewhat? The skill can be really good at bosses though, helped me melt Placidusax after a view tries with different equipment (trying to make a str/fth build, fucking around with lots of different weapons) edit: oh you mentioned it, nvm ^^
Malenia’s Kitana also can get bodied in pvp bc of lack of poise in the waterfowl dance and doesn’t have the god tier range or tracking that Malenia has when she uses it! Also it just doesn’t do enough dmg for how long it takes and most bosses and even beefier enemies are going to knock you out of the animation because of the lack of poise you have when casting/performing the move.
I played through an entire ng+ with the dragon cragblade as my main weapon, I powerstanced it and it was really cool

Everything was good until he failed on mohgwyns spear. He's definitely regretting that decision but no one's perfect.
Malenia is a GREAT boss… she’s just very hard. Honestly would have been better without her healing with every hit but either way
Without it she would probably be too cheesable. I think they want to discourage you from just shield tanking her and force you to actually engage with her in a duel. I honestly appreciate it

It's balanced by her super low poise imo. If you can consistently pressure her she barely gets to swing, you just have to watch out for the 2-3 attacks she can poise through. I think she's easiest with fast melee builds which might be part of why so many people have problems

i'm just gonna say it here. please don't use any blood weapon against Radagon or elden beast. they are immune to blood loss. i swear to god i can't count the many times i see people with moghs spear or ROB. SPREAD THE WORD!
You aren't invincible when in cloud form with the crag blade...
I've never been hit in that form... Maybe it's cause of the positioning?

I liked your video, it was well made an narrated, however I’ve really got to disagree with some of them.
I know it’s your opinion so I’m not going to say you’re wrong, but it’s clear you didn’t test any of these in PvP. Hand of Melania for example is probably C. Low damage and easy ash of earth to dodge. Same for the giant whip, the urami objectively does better damage, has bleed and can be buffed or infused with fire. Mohgwyn’s spear is *very* effective in PvP and PvE. I like Marika’s hammer but again, in PvP it’s kinda useless. There are some others in PvE that are better or worse imo. That’s just my 2 cents, glad I found your channel!

If godriks axe gets a scaling buff or alternatively great axes get sweeping buffs I am going to make a quality build just to make good use of this axe, it's requirements are high but I love the ash and heavy animation.
i havent played this game yet, and i havent divulged myself in almost any lore at all whatsoever, but my GOD do i wanna experience this game so fucking BADDDD!!! i can infer from what very little ive gathered, and im sure im entirely wrong about all of it in some fashion, that its basically about taking on a quest larger than life itself, going to some sort of omnipotent deity and taking its place, and on the way, you become ever-increasingly powerful, eventually taking on beings like Starscourge Radahn, who from the literal 4 seconds of gameplay footage looks to be a boss fight set entirely within its own pocket dimension of this universe. and going by the name, appearance, and setting of the boss, this dude is nothing to fuck around with, lore-wise. honestly seems like my exact type of game, being a lover of open worlds with lots to explore, epic tales of cinematic proportions, existential philosophy, and cosmic/eldritch creatures and settings. once i get my mitts on this game, i really highly doubt ill see sunlight ever again. genuinely

I will say powerstancing 2 Giants Red Braid's is a real game changer. Weapon feels so much better and it's great in PvE and PvP. Honestly pushes it up to B at least A imo.
Mohgs gotta be higher. Amazing in PvE and PvP. I paired it with the FingerPrint stone shield and I can't be hurt, deal out solid poke damage, and can AoE bleed down no problem. Malenia was the only boss that gave me trouble because she was able to heal faster than I could damage her by hitting my shield. A at least, S imo.
I like Marika's hammer but it's got such short range to pair with not a ton of stagger so it really feels wonky to me when using in heated moments. Ash of war is fun. I don't think I could put it above B personally.
I don't get why you like the star scourge so much. The damage output looks the same as what Malikeths blade does for me and the swinging looks about the same speed. Ash of war is nice for crowd control but takes so long that it doesn't seem viable for the huge boss fights or the really big enemies that you see in late game.
Agree with the Carian Regal Scepter. Must use for all sorcerers.
Agree with the blasphemous blade. My brother will powerstance this with the FP regen greatsword (that being in his off hand) so then he's getting HP and FP each kill. He's the ultimate cooperator because he rarely has to use flasks.
Overall a nice list but does feel like you didn't use a few of them to their top potential.

The Ashe of War on the Carian Regal Scepter is the real reason it should be S rank as it instantly and consecutively staggers enemies, great damage and range. I used it for my first play through and broke the game.

mogh spear is insanely good S tier after patch bro lol, it’s L2 got a time decrease so now it’s even faster then it was before, ive gotten 10k+ damage before
Marika’s Hammer and The Bull Goat Armor have been my go to build.
Blasphemous blade carried me through the endgame. I used the treespear up until then and bosses like Astel fucked me up. I got the blasphemous blade and everything fell into place. Malenia took me about five tries with a mimic and blasphemous blade. Now that I understand Soulsborne mechanics much better after a 120 hour run in Elden Ring, I want to do a harder build
The thing with blasphemous blade, you don’t gain health from enemies you kill with it, you gain health if an enemy dies regardless aslong as you are holding the sword. So an enemy could fall of an edge and die ages away and you’d get the health. I remember going through the sewers and I’d just gain health while roaming, all the time

If you equip blasphemous in your left hand, you can use your right hand weapond and it still gives you the health regen when you kill with their right weapon. I started to us it with my bloodhounds fang and it's great.
Axe of Godfrey at D??? Goddamn, someone hated Colossals when this video dropped. I did a playthrough with that weapon and it’s an amazing poise monster weapon, especially with Regal Roar and its R2’s. Trading with high poise has never felt more satisfying
You can definitely get hit while on the cloud form, I've killed plenty of people using it. You have hyper armor but that's it
As others have said Mohgs Sacred Spear should be S tier, but also, the Regal scepter ash of war his like a bazillion times per second, which combos really great with millicents prosthesis
As a person that just beat malania I like the hand of malania I find it fun to use.
Personally Hand of Malenia is S tier for me and I'm using it right now 🙂

I beat her no summons with just destined death. That’s all. Just used malikeths weapon art and beat her.

The prince of deaths staff is actually better than both the regal sceptre and lusats staff, it just requires added faith investment, which opens up for incantations too

Blasphemous blade will carry you through the game with just the ash of war spamming. It's one of the best melee weapon with an unchangeable ashe of war. Was gonna say the best. But with bleed in its current state the best is rivers
