ive heard people run like 45psi on stock k20. i literally cannot imagine anyone swapping the internals of a k series. suuuuch a beast motor i love it.

TheBalcerman The way I was grabbing the steering wheel I didn't like it myself so I corrected I adjust the steering wheel by lowering it so I can grab the steering wheel higher the right way
black07si Good. 10 and 2 o'clock is not just crap you should learn for driving test. It can save your life someday. Your own steer response on the track/street will significantly improve. Not to mention you won't look unprofessional on youtube videos. Now try to put your right hand back on the wheel after every shift. Practice, be quick. You can change the gear very fast so that's a good start to drive that nice car like it deserve to be driven. :-)

Awsome! Hard to believe their developing traction control for high(er) HP 2wd cars now. The difference between on and off is quite significant. Now for a further test, id love to see this comparison (on vs Off) at the drag strip with 60-foot numbers.
im a mustang kind of guy and i normally hate these cars but this one is pretty nice. it doesnt have that annoying toy car sound.
Some people on ClubRSX are putting down 540-580whp on bone stock K20A2.
I don't recommend it, but it's tried & proven that these engines are strong.

K20 are amazing motors. I have an Si 2007 and since bought it new I have been racing the shit out of it and now it has 180,000 miles and it sitll runs like new. I just replaced the clutch for a stage 4 fly wheel of 10 lb.. WHAT OTHER CAR LAST THAT MUCH BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF ALL THE TIME????? Go Honda!!!!!
I dont judge anyone. Just because he has a bad habit, it doesnt mean that he doesnt know how to drive... He launches just fine and shifts also not bad, he might be even a great driver on the track. Its not about where people are from...But often the drivers which are living close to a circuit are better driver. In my location once was a drag race... no one managed it to get below 10 seconds... because such a event only happens once a year, despite Cobra's Ferrari's and other cars.

The red switch is for High Boost and Low Boost, and next to it is the Hondata Traction Control Switch
hondata tc is fucking SICK when u got a high hp boosted car, holy shit. thats unreal..
k20 has 11.5:1 comp ratio, with that plus the 35r it won't need alot of boost to make good power. my friend was in the low 5XXwhp with stock k20 and pte6262 @ ~15psi

Awesome. Where did you wire your 12v source for your boost controller and traction control? Did you wire them both to the same 12v source?
TC works via ABS sensor, so as long as you have ABS then you can setup TC with Hondata.

Does this to avoid slipping the clutch too much and slowly moving forward, common technique used at drag strip in fwd cars because you dont want to trigger the sensors early.
It's the same here the USA, everything you said is right and that's what I do and that's what very body does.It's just a habit that I have to e-brake sometimes lol
Pushing forward on your shift knob before shifting into 2nd gear adds higher RPM rev for launch.

as for 12:1 compression, that would mean it's no longer a stock block, so no, those numbers are not with increased compression
well i'm pretty sure these companies aren't fudging the numbers, it's not like the customers won't find out. after installation the car goes on the dyno pretty much immediately to get a proper tune so if the numbers weren't as advertised I'm sure they'd have some unhappy customers (which they don't.. doesn't that tell you something?) and it really doesn't matter what turbo you use as long as its producing the right boost, but those numbers are with a gt3076r i believe.

I love 8th gen Civic Si, lack of torque, pitiful mpg for how peaky the powerband is, and the fact that it REQUIRES premium all keep me from pursuing one too.... The rev hang and 3rd gear TSB are things I noticed when i test drove one too. I don't want to be forced to pay $5,000+ for F/I system that would fix most of these problems.....

Hell that's a good deal they mostly they go around $550 used. Make sure the flashpro is unlocked from the owners car
its not that itredlines too fast it instantly breaks the tires loose andhasno traction so it just smacks the limiter until you shift. i have a 08 si with precsion 5857 pushing same hp and even after switching to a 4,3 final drive and 18x 8.5 wheels with 245 40 17 tires i will till break the tires loose in 3rd gear at times. definitely need the traction control to take full advantage of hi hp on this car, did help at the track though 12.3@124mph street tires i have a video too

In germany you rather push the brakes hard and utilize the ABS to its fullest so the cops cant measure your speed.... no evidance - nothing the cops can do. If the lights turn on or not doesnt matter at all..
Right out of the box J series is far superior. Take the 244 hp 3.0 liter J30a5, it has the same combined mpg rating as a 197 2.0 liter Inline 4... But has twice the torque. It gains 20 whp and 30 lb ft just from an RV6 J pipe. It is also infinitely smoother and more refined, and you don't have to ring it out to 6k rpm to move past the speed of traffic smh

he went from 60 to 35 half a second, its not physically possible for the camera to show how hard the braking was because its attatched to car (if a person held it, it would be different see?) and the reason is either because he thought he saw a cop, or because he assuming the black car was going to turn left into his path. going 60 in a 35 can be hazardous, i gave up driving fast all the time because people kept trying to kill me

You are comparing the efficiency of a performance oriented double overhead cam engine to that of a single cam unit that isn't tuned for hp, it's tuned for a solid torque curve, mpg, and refinement. The DOHC K20 displaces a whole LESS liter of displacement yet gets the same mpg and REQUIRES premium ? That's a bit ridiculous..... Lol. J30a5 runs 255 hp on premium, 244 on 87(it is in fact the recommended option, and there is no knocking). I agree with the 8500 rpm tho
