@@whitefd2 No not yet. The kit costs 5000$ and to install it my guy quoted me over 1000$ and then another 500$ to get it tuned properly. Not cheap at all. Those are US dollar costs just incase your not from the US.
@@tedbear631 god damn. Ive watched some installation videos from a prl kit and it didnt seem terrible. As long as it comes with everything itd be better to do it on your own. If you're not mechanically inclined to do that its probably not the best idea to do that to your car. I made the full race kit online and it ended up being like 7k us (I'm in canada) apparently its top of the line but still thats crazy
@@tedbear631 I went with a cx racing kit. Fitment isnt the best but it works, turbo went out though so its best to just swap it out for a better T3 turbo

Is the exhaust too loud for you when driving 30+ miles on highways speeds?
I've done 2k+ mile road trips with my Full Race exhaust, not an issue at all. Pretty quiet within the cabin, especially when compared to exhausts with similar flow like the Skunk2 Alpha catback. Hardly noticeable when off throttle as you can hear in this video.

What clutch did you end up going with? I've got an 07 sedan that's only got flashpro and an intake. Going to slap on a prl turbo kit with the biggest turbo option, think it's a garrett 35/84, build up the engine and head and send it. The $ to power ratio for the FA5 is crazy cheap compared to my FK8 type R. With the new Type R I had to invest $10,000 in mods just to crack 400hp/430tq. Base minimum requirement is the hondata fuel system and a flex fuel kit, plus all the usual bolt on breathing mods. 10k on the 8th gen Si and the legendary k20z3 will get me a ton more for my money. I also need to invest in suspension and aero mods because after being used to the R, the Si feels as soft as a mini van steering and suspension wise lol.

The clutchmasters 725 is what I was looking at since it's on sale for 1k. I see you go to the shop whom hondata uses to test their products. I have only been following the type r and I know the numbers they advertise for that are very inflated. Whenever I had to reference them I had to subtract ~6-8% from their figures to get realistic numbers since hub dynos read the highest

awesome car bro !! so you get full traction in fourth even with street tires and hondata tc off? you think 500-600hp is worth it for a car that is still a daily on street tires and everything? i'm just worried about traction problems but I would be getting a 17x9 wheel with a meaty tire so maybe that would be ok?
Completely fine for a daily as long as you aren't the person that floors it at every single light that turns green

I'm not worried about stuff breaking just traction, I got cp forged internals, built and ported head, ppg trans and dss axles so basically its as bulletproof as its gonna get just dont want to spin everywhere
I actually got yokohama a052s which should grip pretty well
