I have had my ruggable for almost 2 yrs. I wouldn’t have purchased if I knew then what I know now. I have 5 dogs. 1. When the dogs play and run across it, it sounds like plastic. 2. There have been puppy accidents and the rug pad smells and can’t be washed. 3. It has faded badly on the side that has more traffic. 4. For the cost, I would purchase less expensive rugs, clean when I can and replace when I can’t.
Hi Lizzie! Really enjoyed your Ruggable review. Thank you so much! And I super enjoyed getting to see your fur children, beautiful coats, chill demeanor, lounging about. I felt compelled to make sure you and your beautiful family know about Big Barker beds for your kiddos. As a large pet parent myself, I was so thankful to find them.
Thank you for a great review - I ordered one for under the dining table & chairs 6 x 9 ft, and a smaller 4 x 6 ft - in the Morris & co Strawberry Thief in sage and rose. Only 3 sleeps until they arrive! Your review set my mind at rest, having read so many reviews about the curling edges. I don’t have animals or kids, so hopefully that won’t be a problem…🌺
HI Lizzie, could you please address the edge curling issue? I've watched several YT videos that are 3 years old, and the reviewers had trouble with curling. You don't mention it, but then your review is more recent. Maybe they fixed that by the time you purchased?
Hi Lizzie thank you so much for your honest review video.I want to know the round rug you had in the entry way what size is that? also how long did it take for your rug to be shipped and delivered also if you've washed it yet how did you dry it? and how did it come out once you dryed it how long did it take to fully Dry? TIA for answering these questions I really appreciate it
This may be irrelevant now. But, I just purchased a ruggable rug without mat. I'm using it anchored under my bed where the base floor is dense carpet. The only thing that I notice is the rug crinkles in places. That's not a big issue for me because it's mainly decorative. I wouldn't try it on hardwood, it seems like it'd be super slippery.
Great review. I’d considered ruggables, but wound up with some of the Loloi II printed rugs. (3 cats, 1messy hubby). I can’t toss them in the washing machine, but I use my Bissell Little Green Machine and they look brand mew. So glad there are options out there for us. And I get the thin rug pads from rugpadusa, so even small ones don’t slide. BTW, your living room looks fantastic!
i can def tell difference , love the cushioned pad but would not put it in hallways. I use it on either side of the bed. It also causes the edge of rug to drape over since the pad is thicker and therefore taller.
I am curious how you manage to dry your Ruggable in the drier? How long does it take for an 8x10? When I tried to dry mine, it balled up in the dryer into a super tight ball and the inside wouldn't dry because there was no air flow. I had it in there for 3-4 hours, but the center was still soaked. I don't understand how people are having success with this. I am also having issues with the edges curling.
How many times have you washed it? I’ve had mine for about two months and I’ve watched it four times…. I also have the round six ft. Do you end up having curls on yours? That is the problem I’m having now
I have had a couple of liquid accidents and have not have that issue but it also didn’t sit there for a long time so it might if it sits on there awhile!
Yes, I wonder that too. My two small dogs are driving me crazy, constantly peeing on my rugs. I already threw away at least 5. I was about to give up on rugs altogether but now discovered ruggable. Except I am not sure about urine leaking through the rug to the pad which is not washable I suppose…
@@mmschippel I actually bought the ruggable and have it now for 6 months or so. Couldn’t be happier. Washed it many times and it looks like brand new. It doesn’t sip through. Although my dogs are pretty small, so I am not sure how would it be with big amounts of urine.
I have 2 ruggables 9/12 and 8/10 and I just ordered a 5/7. I really don’t believe that this review is not sponsored. Because, both rugs came in rolled up the opposite way. Meaning the pile was outward instead of inward. Therefore, it was a bit of work getting them down. But, I love my rugs!!! Also, my 5/7 will be outdoor but, I’m using it in my kitchen as this area is a high traffic. Which will be awesome because for food or drink spills!! But, you only showed a small round rug and you stated that it came rolled up like that but it didn’t you made it seem pretty easy but, all ruggable owners knows that’s not the case for a 9/12 or 8/10.
Wow! Could you be more negative? I don't understand why you would challenge this woman's claim that the video isn't sponsored, just because the rug was rolled differently than what you received. I doubt the rug just came out of the packaging. I assumed she just rolled up the top part so that she could show the top vs bottom and demonstrate how to roll it out. Besides she only has 414 subscribers. She does a great job; doesn't repeat herself, hits all the important points. You think Ruggable would sponsor a channel with 414 subscribers? Lastly, of course the larger rugs are going to be harder to lay down and pick up than smaller rugs, especially if they sit under furniture.
@@epona9166 wow get a life! I now own the round 6ft. Still is very time consuming to lay down but I love my ruggables. There are always pros and cons for everything. I see sponsored ads with people with less subscribers then she has. You give a paragraph on a 9 month old comment. Get a LIFE!
… so you think people who are sponsored receive their rug in special packaging rolled the other way around? I’m sorry, that’s just the most unnecessary criticism I’ve ever heard. What a dumb point to make.
I ordered mine on 13th, and it’s due on 24th - pretty good - and I’m in Australia! I’d heard of others taking 6 or 8 weeks, so that’s pretty impressive!

That's not a rug, it's a sheet with velcro... come on. You serious? This is a joke right? You can't tell me this isn't a bed sheet on the floor with velcro and a pretty design... do you feel any rug fibers?
It's definitely not a sheet. It's not going to be like a traditional carpeted rug because you can't wash those in a washing machine anyway. I have one of these under my dining table and it protects my floor because my dining chairs are heavy so I can just slide the chairs on the rug. And you can buy padded bases to make them more squishy.

Exactly. That's an honest assessment, unlike every UA-cam review I watched before purchasing ----like this one.

How do you dry your 9x12 rug? When mine is wet it gets so heavy and pushes the dryer door open. Did you ever have that problem?

Why did you heart this question but never answer it?
How big is your washer to be able to put a 9x12 rug in it???
Thanks for your honest review. Is the pad you got the thicker or the regular one?
Do you have any issues with the edges curling up? I really want to buy one but I think if curling is an issue then it’s not for me!
Sorry I’m so late! Do you need the mat? I’m thinking about purchasing the rug on its own without the mat to save money. Thoughts? 😊
This is what I wanr ro know. Can I use my own rug pad? Not sure if these are safe on LVP floors.

What about edge-curling???
Any tips on unrolling the larger sized rugs? Other than the tip ruggable has to offer? Perhaps bc I did it by myself it was extremely frustrating.
Yes I think the way they show it is helpful! I also did it by myself and it was a workout!
Did your rug make a crunching sound when you initially got it? Mine does. I feel it may be from the velcro-like pad, but hoping it goes away!
Did it's stop making this annoying sound after lots of use? Thanks
This is what I'm researching. I got a 10ft runner and it crunches. I want a living room rug too but not if it's going to make the same noise.

What do you vacuum it with?
How does the pad stick to the floor? Is it taped down? Tia
I’m debating between the cushioned or un-cushioned pad for my living room. Is the difference actually noticeable?
I really can’t tell the difference from the two!

Hi how long do you hang it outside to dry for? I have not washed mine yet and I have an 8 x 10
Hi Lizzie - enjoyed your informative video. May I ask what size washer/dryer you have; also front load or top load? Thank you!
Thank you! So glad you liked it! We have the LG ThinQ Front Load 4.5-cu ft.
instructions say either type machine will work but for larger sizes prob better to use commercial machines at laundromat

I actually hang dry mine! Takes way less time!
I hang mine and dry mine. They curl up either way.
Doesn’t slide or slip or move??? Our two I want to nail down to my floor! I have no idea why bc we have the pad and it slides everyday all day.
How many times have you washed it?
I’ve had mine for about two months and I’ve watched it four times…. I also have the round six ft. Do you end up having curls on yours?
That is the problem I’m having now
I have washed mine several times probably 8-10 and as long as you are drying it on low or hanging it out to dry it should not curl.
I’ve done all that and it doesn’t work. They still curl up.
@@marybullington4203 another UA-camr had an issue with the curling and she found running a steam mop over the edges seem to work
Ok so for liquid accidents… doesn’t it just go thru the top and end up in the pad, like a regular carpet?
