Great review I want to read this book so bad.
I enjoyed reading this book. 100% recommended
Really great review! I have never heard of this one, but I did really like Ready Player One. I will have to check this out! Thanks!😊
Thank you. I enjoyed Ready player one, I reread it before the movie. Ready player one is more like into gaming world, while Otherland is more like into virtual world, (but videos games are also shown). So the story is bigger, with more characters. If you liked Ready player one, then you will certainly like this book too. Oh, thanks for the sub, I just noticed, thank you so much.
30 cents, how lucky!! I've read this series twice, once in Dutch and once in the original English. Agreed about Otherland being better than Ready Player One! I read this series for the first time when I was a teenager, and I loved it. I re-read the series in English, I think when I was in my late twenties (my brother wanted to re-read it too, I gifted him my Dutch copies and kept my English copies. Sometimes I regret it but other times I know it makes my brother happy to have this series on his bookshelf too). And yes things are confusing at first but it gets explained later on! Well done on reading it in English which is not your first language (I read it in Dutch the first time (my native language), as a teenager my English wasn't great (in comparison to now), then second time in the original English). I hope you can find the other 3 volumes too and that you enjoy them all as well!!
Yes, it was that cheap. It was used but still in good condition. But for some reason, I managed to make it worst by peeling the color of the cover hehehe. I don't know how hehehe. I already got volume 2 and 3. So I hope to continue reading soon.
The best part is that there’s no movie adaptation and it is never licensed. Except for the game.
It would be a great movie if they can make it.
@@livriomer By the way. This series is Gamelit, right?
@@jmachero5852 I am not sure, but I think there is a game about it.
@@livriomer You know what a Gamelit is, right?
@@livriomer And of course that knowing this series came out way before Ready Player One. It is needless to say the genre concept has been around longer than anyone realize. Unlike, Ready Player One, this has an overarching storyline.
No spoilers please, I haven’t read it yet.
