It's fascinating how I could accept that the main characters aren't really nice likeable people but still be totally invested in their HEA. It's brilliant storytelling I think. Also read Ensared series some time ago because of you, and now it lives in my heart forever because Ketahn is everything...
This trope is one of my favorite. The Kindled series by Claire Kent has been my go to and I’ve reread them so much because I can’t find more books that captures exactly what I want and that series has it.

The Beyond series by Kit Rocha is one of my favorite post-apocalptic series. Have you read it? I would also recommend Driven by Eve Silver although it is an older book. Love these recs! Keep 'em coming.
I love survival/post apocalyptic books. I just recently was reading a horror novel with this type of trope, but unfortunately it was SUPER slow paced, so I ended up DNFing it. I’m always looking for these type of books.
Idk if anyone has mentioned If We Disappear Here by M Hayes but its a “kidnapped by a madman and we dont know why” romance which i lovedddd, this theme may be a new passion of mine and i dont even like the romance genre.
