      @@NQEOverland , I am going to have to wait until I move to a different part of this country, first. Florida doesn't have any gold deposits, except in jewelry stores, and sunken treasure ships.

    Man your a Genius. I'm gonna make one just like it. That will work perfect for slow running creeks.

    Just saw your video years later but I like the simple way to build one. The commercial ones are too expensive

    G'day Warren, No Worries Mate & thank you, Im off to the shed with a cold one & a Rocker Box to start. Were do you buy the green mat from or can you
    get it on-line ? also are there different sizes of the green rubber mat or is it a std size?.
    Thanks' very much Mate & Happy Fossicking, Steve.

      Thanks for the comment Steve, the Dream Mat is made in Queensland by Dustin at Gold Rat, it is available in 6, 8, 10 and 12 inch widths. His website is www.highbanker.com.au so you could just make the cradle the right width to suit the mat. Mine was built before Dream Mat became available so it doesn't quite fit LOL. Happy Fossicking mate! Warren.

      @@NQEOverland Thanks for the information Warren, I will check out the site & grab the size to suit the cradle. That way I can make it spot-on, I already have the mesh 6x6 & only need to grab some carpet. If you like when I have it made I can send you a photo of our handy work mate. Thanks again, Steve.

    so i am building a rocker box, for the bottom tray, what is a good downward angle for the tray to be at?

    • @NQEOverland
      @NQEOverland  3 роки тому

      Thanks for the comment - general 'rule of thumb' is 1" per 12" of box, so for a 2' box thats a 2" drop over the length of the apron. Adjustments are always necessary as the rocker tends to move around a bit with the agitation. You will soon learn a good flow rate and angle as you work in the creek, just put a pan or tray below the cradle and see if any gold is escaping, if it is, your angle is too steep. Hope this helps! Happy Fossicking! Warren.
