All of this is bullshit as a chemist this is my list
      -No heat on your hair
-Good microbiome on your head / coconut oil - no overwashing your hair with shampoo
-healthy body with high circulation / blood thinners in small doses like asprin / turmeric work so does things like niacin and he shou wou.
Vitamins in general being in balance, especially dont lack vitamin b / biotin-- dont overdo it or you might get cysts in ovaries or lots of acne.
-Low stress. Stress ruins the hair because high tension constrict the muscles and does other things like mess with your sleep and hormones.
-Microdermabrasion and Inversion Method work , massage your hair ;)
The rest is product this product that; all air. You dont need expensive products at all.

I've use the littleexttra reactivaate hair growth serum each night before I sleep. I apply it into my scalp slightly. I can see results! My hair fall has decreased a lot, and I notice new baby hairs emerging. The serum is light and doesn't feel sticky or greasy. It lasts a good time too! I've been using it for almost a month now. If you're dealing with hair fall or bald spots, you should definitely give it a shot. It really helps.

Unbiased opinion...I had a lot of issues growing my hair and in November I bought a guide from an online UA-cam guru whose audience is primarily black. Following her instructions, my hair has retained length like crazy. It hasn't been this long in 16 years. I've noticed that her detailed advice is extremely similar to his free guide. I wish I found him first so I could have saved my money. Long story short, his advice is legit.

Genuinely I used to just believe drugstore shampoos were just the same as salon products and that it was all just hype,
But I did invest several years ago and there is a difference.
I was forced to use drugstore products out of pure necessity recently and I was totally shocked at how dreadful my hair felt 😬
I prob did about 5yrs worth of damage in one wash!
How about instead of purchasing everything on your wishlist you just get the basics and gradually add to your routine to keep the expense manageable?

You are my absolute hair guru, life saver, best thing in the internet. Thanks from bavaria. My hair was a total mess and everytime i went to the salon someone asked me if Im using hair salon products and masks and it made me angry cause i got EVERYTHING at home. Olaplex, all the wella stuff, ghd everything, but I used it the wrong way and noone, no videos, nothing told me, how to use that stuff, even the directions didnt tell me that.. When i saw you first, i thought why should this athlete with no hair know that, but I liked your hosting style and than i gave it try. I didnt even have to buy anything, cause i have everything at home and the outcome is spectacular. I will replace on the long run, my products with your recommentions, but i never had the feeling compared to other content ceators that you have to sell something, I got more the vibe of use the stuff you have but the right way. Im so grateful i cant tell you how. It gave me some youth and selfesteem back and im looking forward how it will turn out on the long run. The only thing Im still struggeling, im a watersport fan and in the summer, when im in the south of france i look like my hairdryer exploded. Still have to find a way of what to do with my hair when its getting wet a lot, or when there is a lot of huminity, but thats another story. Anyhow THANK YOU SO MUCH, LOVE EVERYTHING YOU DO, YOU ARE THE REAL DEAL, YOU ARE THE BEST!

Thank you for these videos, they are very helpful and informative. My hair is most definitely in need of help and has been for years. It feels dry, frizzy and lifeless. My only problem is that I do not know exactly what my hair type is. I guess you could say that it is blonde (although it has darkened over the years especially after having kids), straight and fine but not thin. My former hairdresser said that I have fine hair but a lot of it. My hair can feel heavy once it grows past my shoulders which is why I haven’t grown it long in years. It also can’t hold a curl to save my life unless it’s teased and dowsed in holding products and even then it would eventually fall flat by the end of the day and then left feeling gross and crunchy. What’s funny is that my mother has dark, thick and naturally curly hair and my dad has has fine thin brown hair. My brother ended up getting my mother’s hair so not sure what happened to me. Lol

hey chris, i was wondering if you have some tips for how to care for hairloss caused by stress? tips on how to nurse it while its not in its best shape, and what to avoid doing to worsen it perhaps? im losing my confidence, and feel trapped almost. it's shedding, and thinning a lot, and i feel helpless. it's even turning gray, and my hairline is all rackety now.
if you have any wisdom or knowledge regarding how to nurse hair that's stressed out beyond belief, i would greatly appreciate any advice you might have.

My hair has improved so much just by following Chris’ advice - my hair was quite frizzy and damaged because of stress poor nutrition and non existent hair care routine. I used to use a claw clip for a few years to keep my hair up and didn’t realise the damage it was causing! The back of my head had shorter damaged / twisted hair and it looked awful. This is what transformed my hair :
A blood test which showed low iron. So I was started on iron tablets.
Better nutrition ie more protein like eggs and protein shakes and vitamins (multi plus vit D).
Trinity hair care routine - Olaplex 3 - use on wet hair , leave for 10 minutes ONLY. Then wash with a herbal non commercial Neem shampoo (no chemicals / sulphates etc). Then a regular conditioner on mids.
Dab hair with towel and use Pureology leave in conditioner on mid lengths.
Hair dryer the hair (no hot irons).
Jojoba oil rub tiny amount in hands and apply to the ends.
The result after 3 months of iron and 1 month of this above hair routine - healthier shinier less frizzy hair.
Its changed my hair from looking dull and frizzy to full of health. Although my hair is thinned anyway i dont have much, but its texture has definately improved :-). I had cut my hair to above shoulder to get rid of the damaged ends and no growth, and since following this routine my hair is actually growing longer! Thank you Chris

Hi Chris, I love your work, thank you. I do have a very quick question though if you don't mind. I have fine hair (took your quiz), and it literally gets greasy the day after I've washed it so I already know I'm not using the correct products for my hair type at the moment. So I will be purchasing the Redken Volume Injection shampoo & conditioner, and then before I blow dry my hair I would usually use the Pureology colour fanatic spray then just blow dry and straighten my hair. But watching this video, should I also be using a blow dry cream after the leave in conditioner and then another heat protectant spray before I straighten, finishing with a hair oil on the ends? Thanks :)

Personally, I did start with the Revlon Blowdryer brush. At Christmas time, I got the Amika blowdryer drush. I never listened to my hairdresser about using professional brands. I am a bit obsessive on my shampoo, conditioner and all of my products, but never thought much about only using professional stylers. Let me tell you, that Amika hairbrush changed my life. My hair looked so much much healthier and shiner. I got it with 2 free products at Christmas on sale. I paid $40 for the Revlon and $79 for the Amika which came with their full-size dry shampoo and a mid size bottle of the wizard detangler and heat protectant (I love this heat protectant more than Pureology and Bumble and Bumble. It almost feels oily when it goes on but it does not leave your hair looking or feeling oily. I usually leave my hair naturally curly in the winter and dry it is the winter. I have no more split ends. This brush has been a gamechanger for me.

    • @chanelly
      @chanelly Рік тому +4

@@lindakoberna3465 i love amika products, especially the wizard and their dry shampoo! i’ve never tried the amika round brush because i had the revlon and invested in a drybar dryer brush (which worked great but broke after a month) and dyson air wrap (which i don’t like). i also have a revlon plus now which i find works better and has a medium setting and a detachable head for rough drying. unfortunately, i’ve had dry ends with all of them. my hair isn’t unhealthy and i don’t have split ends but my hair is on the drier, frizzier side (it’s thick and curly naturally). i don’t mind oiling my ends after styling but a regular dryer and round brush has given me the best results and no dry ends :)

@florinacovaci8703 so I'm finding that the shampoo definitely helps with keeping the oil at bay for longer. I returned the olaplex oil because I felt like it wasn't working for me, and I had another kind, but I've been wondering if I should get it again. I'm actually at a transitional point right now trying to figure out which styling products work for me, so I'm not thrilled with my hair at the moment, but I do recommend the Pureology leave-in conditioner and the Redken Volumizing S&C. It feels nice, I just end up messing my hair up with styling products. Lol I might have to go back to just the basics for a while.

Thank you for your videos, they are quite helpful. I’ve been attending this super expensive hair save because apparently they’re the best. Basically I went to them to help my hair, it’s thin and frizzy..curly I’d say. But every time I go I come out with a bunch of products, I asked for a heat protectant but they sold me a mist hair spray and gloss. None of them have heat protectant. My hair is weir, so where the bangs are it’s always wavy/curly the only safe place is on the salon chair. If it’s hot out it gets so wavy/crunch. I swear I’m saving money to go to your salon. Would you mind helping me with a product that can help, I rock the thin bun 24/7 and I wish i could do something for my hair to help it look normal.

Chris - you are a wealth of knowledge. My hair is SUPER fine and thinning on top. I want more volume, but my hair gets very oily, like after day 2 of shampooing and conditioning I can’t leave the house it is so noticeably greasy. I have some work to do with tips (double washing, etc) you have put in other videos. One thing I notice, though, is the models, like the one in this video, seem to have nice, healthy hair.
You dont need expensive products at all.
oh and try to do hot and cold like sauna ending with a cold dip or end showers with cold water / rice water works to grow hair quick too.
