    i still have issues with maf sensors. some say if you have say a 4.0 it should be close to the engine size. i have looked at lots of fords and it does not hold true. without one of those really expensive scan tools that bernie thompson uses with that ability, could you do a video on this in more detail with other alternatives? thanks

    • @electron-john
      @electron-john  2 місяці тому

      I will try to do a short at some point in the future. right now my travel schedule for my day job is very hectic. you can however, plot the MAF readings with fuel trim manually kind of like how Bernie’s tool does it for you automatically. just use move]ie mode on your scan tool and drive the vehicle. thanks for the support!

    when you say that the o2 upstream low or normal what is meant? normal fluctuating? and low? to stay at a low constant value? example 0.3 volt...?

    • @electron-john
      @electron-john  5 місяців тому +2

      Thank you for responding. What I meant was that a high voltage value on an oxygen sensor represents a rich mixture while a low voltage of say .2 represents a lean exhaust content. So a low voltage that has fluctuation represents a good sensor because it is fluctuating and a lean exhaust content. OBD 2 rule of thumb is that it should fluctuate within 100ms or less to be considered a sensor that is not biased.
