Any chance to make a technical tutorial about 3ds max paths, texture paths, missing textures, units, merging meshes and missing textures, running scripts, hotkeys, max ENU gets corrupted how to restore custom hotkeys etc, max preferences dialog from gizmos to gamma, Thanks! Proper way to set up paths, texture paths, how to keep textures(separate texture folders or each 3d mesh keeps textures within its folder even though max limits to 1200 external paths) I am shocked a giant autodesk didn't make for 3ds max search for missing textures option!
HELLO, THANKS FOR YOUR POST I just want to help you on how you should record your computer screen. The screen resolution is too high and this makes the fonts too small. I have a notebook and a 27" full hd screen and even so it was with great difficulty that I visualized the commands. This greatly hindered the speed of learning. As for the subject, it was great. As for the content, it was excellent. I've signed up for other tutorials. Thanks
Hi Jessie How to export Phoenix liquid from 3D Max to Unreal Engine ?🙄 I tried to export the file alambic but it didn't work😩 I really need advice from you 🙏
for games, do you have to be careful about the performance for this stuff? does this require a lot of optimization down the line? or is something like this mainly geared for concept art or film?
How do you export this for Ue5? When i try import my vdb in unreal is empty, I guess beacuse the particle in the sim node goes to scene and not into volume processing node, so how I can export my emitter? With the node export particle i can have only an abc file and every time i try to import it in my ue5 file , unreal failed instant the import.
He can't answer .. I am also having these issue ... Bcoz unreal can't import point Alembic ... We convert point Alembic to mesh alembic .. after unreal accept it.. use any 3 d software like blender .. convert point to mesh by node then try ... But it is heavy process taking too much time for convert ___ so I am searching another method ..
Excellent tutor but I have a question when I put a fbx from mixamo into embergen , it shows that's an unsupported file,is that an error or something? I can't find any solution 😢
I have a ryzen 9 5950x an rtx 3060ti I don't know why the simulations are slow on the PC the same thing happens in Houdini fx I only have 16 GB of ram I only do 40 speed simulations and it uses up all the ram
No is not solution... Say I don't knew.. I will tell solution .. convert point abc to mesh abc by any 3d software like Blender ... After import unreal.. but it's not easy .. taking too much time for conver
Really?? Tyflow has so many more operators etc. EG is pretty simple in comparison. I think in the beginning it's good to ignore 90% of embergen's sliders and just focus on the 3-5 that matter (fuel & smoke emission, forces...) and slowly add more.
It’s harder than Phoenix fd in 3ds max. It’s too awkward from 3D navigation to just using it. I wish they made it as 3ds max plug-in. That’s the main reason Phoenix is still number one choice.

Great tutorial. I think I might want to use emergen to make flipbooks for unreal engine niagara
Thanaks for EmberGen tutorials
Cool dude will surely work on this
I just Love you.., this Tut is a life-saver thank you
Great tutorial. Helped me get my head around an idea. Thanks.
Awesome, thanks
Thanaks for Embergen Download link
Really cool. Thanks.
Amazing job, thanks for sharing!!
Great job 👏

Is it possible to make fire, water and air bending vfx with Embergen?? If yes could you please make tutorial??
Hi Jessie
How to export Phoenix liquid from 3D Max to Unreal Engine ?🙄
I tried to export the file alambic but it didn't work😩
I really need advice from you 🙏
Amazing, will your course go through the actual rendering so you can make the sims look amazing (Vray etc)
Yes. Full vray workflow is included for both volumes and particles
I tried to render this project but after rendering i cant see emission in my particles which were visible dusring preview. please help
thanks Master

you wouldnt use this in a game its more vfx stuff, maybe a flipbook of lightning ?
@@3DMVR says real time vfx in the title. so thats a bit misleading then
It runs in real-time inside EmberGen. Nobody said anything about game dev.
Awesome.

But how does one export particles though???
Alembic format?
unable to import the lughtning to blender?
Luar biasa mantappp

Depending on where you’re exporting it from you need to adjust the export settings to get it to import into EG
Make more tutorial about exporting in BLENDER
Nope
@@RedefineFX why please
Can i also import an alembic file?
now, what can you do with this made in embergen? can you export it to use on another software? how does it work?
You can export the smoke as VDB and particles as alembic and use in any other 3D software. What makes embergen special is that it's real-time.

Your GPU is the only thing that matters for EmberGen and mainly the amount of VRAM. I recorded the tutorial on a 4090
how do i import it to blender now?
cus it doesn't have any colours and lightings qare invisible
Maybe import as a png on an image plane?
sorry but my mixamo anim just loop rather than running in place any idea why?
You may have to check “in place” in mixamo before downloading
They have liquid software in realtime or just fire and smoke?
Just pyro and particles for now. I heard liquigen beta is coming late this year
Do u have guts to reply my Question... How GPU particles ABC import to unreal Engine 5 .. plz research and give best way to import

What’s the point if you cannot export gpu particles with vdb to your own rendering software.
you can export the particles as alembic
@@RedefineFX can you please make a tutorial how and how to combine them all: vdb and particles? I use octane and 3ds max. Thank you.
sorry this isn't the tutorial I was looking for I was trying to set up a different gpu particles for vrchat avatars

i can not able to export my scene into blender from embergen anyone can help me

@@GD15555 so it's usable only to 3ds max users?
A lot of my audience are 3Ds max users but embergen is a standalone app and the VDB it exports can be loaded into c4d, unreal, Houdini, max, blender…
