My pc is working perfectly fine and my first monitor is set up and working, however my second monitor is not showing any signal, I have my main monitor connected to my GPU and my second monitor connected to my motherboard with a HDMI cable and it says it is connected, however my PC is not detecting the 2nd monitor? I don't know why, it says it is connected but it just doesn't show any signal and it keeps showing the HDMI logo at the top of the screen, my second monitor is a Samsung, I'm really confused on what I need to do The issue is not from the monitor either because I tested the monitor on another device and it was working perfectly fine, I think it may be a problem with the detection of the monitor because it is connected but it's not being detected? Any help? Thanks

If you already tried the above steps and it still didn't work and you know your gpu and psu are good. Check if all fans and lights turn on but mouse and keyboard doesn't light up. Also check if the hdd light indicator on your case is blinking or on to see if it is booting to windows. If it is, try changing the cmos battery as this can also cause this issue.

If it helps as well (if you have a GPU) just undo the screws that hold the GPU in place on the case then carefully press the GPU pressure thingy in take your GPU out and then put it back in seemed to work for me hope that helps anyone I think my GPU just ended up becoming a little loose

Man, this was a great video. Very thorough & straight to the point. I ended up taking my PC to Geek Squad and they’re suspecting it’s the PCU. They’re reinstalling windows to see if it fixes it, but after watching your video, the PCU being the issue makes sense. My issue happened in the middle of gaming and the system is only 2 months old. Thanks for the troubleshooting tips!
i have ryzen 3 3200g with no gpu i have dual monitor everytime i open my pc only one monitor open and if i unplug the working monitor, the other monitor will work..... what may be the problem?
sometimes its a motherboard monitor support problem, thought the cpu supports it some motherboards doesn't for some reason. what's your motherboard's model name?
thank you so much for the ram stick and eraser trick. i would have never guessed & no one else mentioned it. i would otherwise replace my graphics card but currently im living with my parents due to financials mishaps and my pc is the only entertainment i have. Thank you thank you thank you !!
🙂 it could be also because you are trying to use a Radeon Video Card, radeon is not as compatible friendly as invidia cards, try an invidia card and see if u can now see the display
I went to my bios and put smart fan settings on because my PC was getting too hot and now the CPU light is on it is there anyway I can reset it to the default?
From what I’ve found, in order to fix this problem all I do is that when I turn on my pc, I disconnect my hdmi cable from my pc and I connect it again and surprisingly it starts to work. (Not sure if this will do some type of damage on the cable in the future)
My pc display working when i remove and put back cmos battery ,but after i shutdown the pc and power on ,it shows no display again ( i replace the cmos battery but it didnt work)
I was mid game on BO6 and my entire system shut down. It’s happened before so I thought it was overheating. It’s been about 4 days since then, and reseating my GPU as well as my RAM sticks didn’t work, both monitors show no display. Any other tips you may have before I take it to a PC shop? I have no other way to test PSU or GPU. All fans are on and lights on my GPU and RAM sticks are all working, I just can’t figure it out. Thanks in advance!
Hi, I don’t have a problem rather I actually solved the problem. I don’t know if this is a beginner mistake or a dumb mistake but most ATX motherboards have 2 GPU slots and 2 Network adapter slots. I put my network adapter in but I realized that my GPU didn’t fit in the first slot because if the Adapter so I decided to put it in the second slot thinking it would work the same. The problem is IT DOESN’T WORK THE SAME. Your mother board will always prioritize the first slot because it’s directly connected to the cpu, and have more PCIe lanes than the second slot meaning there’s more connections between the the first slot and motherboard than the second slot and motherboard. I couldn’t figure this out for a good day until I realized the first slot was different color than the second slot (which is good indicator on what slot your GPU should be in). After I switched it my monitor was detected and I was happy 😊. I hope this helped some people because I definitely wish I knew this when I was building my PC.
It sounds like you've learned something important! It's definitely not a dumb mistake - sometimes things like slot prioritization can be confusing when building a PC. Glad to hear you figured it out, and I’m sure your experience will help others who might run into the same issue. Thanks for sharing your solution!
hi, my pc worked for 2 years just fine, but now, sometimes if i turn it on, there is no signal. However, i can hear the widows start sound in my headset, so I think its on. If i try to restart my monitor (AOC), it says that it gets no signal. If I try another monitor, it doesnt get a signal either. But if i hear the windows sound, it isnt my pc, right? Thank you for the video btw

So i need help, i bought a pc from a guy who got a ryzen 5 3600, and a gtx 750 4 gb, with 16 gb of DDR 4, and a 620w psu, The psu is non modular, so first days it worked, but when i swaped another gpu, from another guy, an rx 6600, it didn't even start to run, i thoug The problem its on The gpu, but after like 2 hours, it started running, everything was wroking but The sistem didn't read The gpu, i installed The drivers everything went okay, but yesterday i tested The gtx 750 because i wanted to sell it, and The sistem didn't made display on my monitor, even on The TV, but everything on The motherboard was working, now i spawed again with The rx 6600, and nothing works, only The usb ports, and The pc don't run, what do i do? What can be The problem? I ask this because i suspect The psu, but The gpu was getting her wattage
number one mistake is, you need to uninstall the old gpu driver first whenever you are going to install a new gpu, this is to prevent driver conflict. I suggest uninstall both driers in safe mode so go to safe mode this way ua-cam.com/users/shortsIZKc8plksDA then DDU the current drivers ua-cam.com/video/SvIJhcxZTsA/v-deo.html
what if i have two plugged in at the same time and one of my montiors works and my first one doesn't. its not the cable because it when i unplug it from my pc it shows its getting input then goes away.
Mac, my problem is really odd. I turn my computer on and the lights; fans; and drive all wurr as normal, but screen is black. When I restart the computer a second time, everything boots fine. Cables; power; monitor all seems fine when I check them. . . ?

this problem just came up today and the monitor is on and running perfectly fine but my pc screen is still black and I can’t get ahold of another pc to test it on,I did everything in the video and still nothing
how about a console or a laptop, try it with the monitor. if you don't have one then borrow from a relative or friend so you can test it with your monitor
Ill take a crack at a question: OS: WIndows 11 Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk B650 Wifi CPU:AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 3.8 GHz 8-Core Processor Ram: TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory GPU: Corsair TX650M Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply Power Supply: Zotac GAMING Twin Edge OC GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB Video Card Upgraded PC to the above specs in November with my PSU and GPU been owned since 2017 and 2020 respectively being put into the new build. The machine worked fine with regular gaming up until about Friday December 13th 2024 in which during gaming my Displays would go to black screen. Of note, Audio would function, lights from Fan, GPU, mouse and keyboard would be on, Fans would either run at loud RPM (though in some cases cease functioning) and the system would be unresponsive until it restarted after 5-10mins of idling. Troubleshooting I've done: 1) RAM Diagnostic found no error 2) OCCT and 3dMark test found no error and temperatures relatively stable with hotspot of GPU being at 83C an average at about 75C 3) I've used DDU to re-install drivers, rollback drivers, and reinstall newest again 4) I've reseated the GPU into the same lane, reseated into another PCI lane I even replugged 5) I've reseated the RAM 6) i've reset BIOS to default The system ONLY goes into error during gaming with vide oplayback off youtube at 4k running fine, and cloud gaming working fine. The error also can occur as soon as 5 mins in or after 2 hours of gaming. Event Log Viewer doesn't show any errors associated with Nvidia Driver and only shows the kernel power error and how the system unexpectedly rebooted I'm half torn between if the cause of the issue may be due to faulty PSU or GPU at this point but I don't have a PSU connector/backup PSU or GPU or friend to try out with but curious if you or anyone here has more insight

This is a bit difficult since we don't what happened in between. power it off for now, and clear cmos ua-cam.com/video/S9hyEPTFR10/v-deo.html this is to reset things in default. if still does not work this might have something to do with the psu so if you have a spare one try it out with your pc

there are a lot of factors but check these out first, 1. update gpu driver and windows too 2. Some monitors may not support certain resolutions or refresh rates, particularly if the monitor is older or lower-end. Check the monitor’s specifications to ensure it can handle the settings you're trying to use 3. graphics card limitation, perhaps the gpu can't handle both of your monitor. You can also test the second monitor by itself with your PC, using its maximum settings without any other monitors connected.
So is it not possible the cpu could be the issue? Cause i get no display and my cpu debug light is solid, ive tried the ram, cmos etc, but i dont have a spare gpu or cpu to test, i was gaming the other day then out of no where my screen went black and fans started spinning like crazy, my pc turns on no problem, no wierd sounds or anything but no display on my monitor
Got a new PSU because the OG PSU was making noises. But my PC turns on but no image on my monitor (it's on). This happened 3x (new build since July 2024) and so far pressing the power on button again turns the PC on/image appears. Maybe a different part is faulty or I'll get worse soon? Need help! I was playing gow ragnarok then suddenly the game froze and needed to shutdown my pc. After that ive been having no display issues but sometimes it has display then after a few minutes it goes to no display again. All components are still working. Already replaced the MOBO and RAM
Can you please help me 😢 ? i have this problem i checked the cables , cleaned the ram sticks , and tried another monitor but i don't have another pc to test the gpu and psu so here is how the problem started and how it evolved to other problems 1 - A year ago when i pressed the power button , my pc kept in a booting state like the one in video ( no signal , and the keyboard and mouse don't light up ) the power button and the restart button don't work while stuck in this state , so it only gets out of this state by unplugging it , only for it to get back to the same state , so after a few pluggings and unpluggings OR sometimes by waiting to next day , the pc magically opens and the problem randomly shows up three to two times a month and for the whole year i kept doing the same thing to solve it . 2- Until two months ago a new problem emerged which is when pressing the power button nothing happens , even tho everything is plugged , so i deep cleaned my pc and it did nothing , then someone recommended me , removing the cmos battery from the motherboard for five minutes while it's unpluged from the power and it worked (for this problem and the first problem i mentioned ) and i removed it four to five times after that in those two months , he also recommended updating the bios which i didn't do because the bios weren't stable for updating ( the screen blinks and then randomly goes blank ) ( I have an aorus b450 elite updated to f41). The problem I'm currently facing which occurred almost two days ago : So i started my pc without facing problems , ((NOTE : my pc restarts when i accidentally touch/hit it with my elbow or with my foot or when i place the controller on top of it or i when try to plug something from behind , basically when something touches the computer case )) my pc restarted three times yesterday from this touching problem after the third touch , a blue screen showed up saying my pc will automatically restart and while it was restarting it stopped at the exact booting moment of my number 1 problem ((like the one in the video)) the only difference is that the restart button works (the power button doesn't) and this time after restarting ((by pressing the restart button that worked while there is no signal)) it took me straight to advanced options , so i exited them , and the pc tried to restart but the same problem happened again , so i pressed the restart button and it took me to the desktop , i thought it was solved , but after a minute the pc tried to restart again , but it got stuck during booting again , so i restarted again so i could press the power from the side of the screen since the physical one doesn't work , and remove the cmos battery but this time the pc gave me even less time in the desktop i didn't even get to press the power button so i tried again and it took me to advanced options again , so i pressed fix startup problems and waited but the samething happened so i unpluged the cords and removed the cmos battery but i found myself back to problem number 1 (the one in the video) except this one isn't fixable by removing the cmos or by waiting or by plugging and unplugging . could the problem be because i unpluged while it was stuck after pressing startup repair ? Note : the blue screen (that says it's gonna fix something and then restart but doesn't fix and gets stuck while trying to ) is a new thing it never happened to me before . Note : No , i don't have crowd strike downloaded . So could you please tell me what to do ? And sorry for writing too much , and thanks any help would be appreciated .
@@jackjason1 1st part is a power issue, this could be due to unreliable psu, psu going faulty or power fluctuation around your area. I usually test the pc using other psu to check, i hope you can borrow one from a relative or friend to test it with your pc. 2nd you don't need bios update, if the cpu is working well with the mobo no need to touch that 3rd part, i think there is a short in your pc case, double check if there is a screw touching the motherboard. or you could just remove all parts and test the entire pc without the case, i know it is a tedious work but its the only way we can check a little advice here, try going to safe mode ua-cam.com/users/shortsIZKc8plksDA and if you got lucky and enter it, i suggest start backing up your important files in C drive. Hi 👋 so I bought this pc used and it was missing a graphics card. I put a gtx 1660 super in it and I still don’t get any signal. All the fans and rgbs are on, and my mouse and keyboard light up. I don’t know the specs on it since I can’t get on it but I’ve tried everything I can think but im not very knowledgeable of pcs
let's start with the basics then follow this in installing gpu ua-cam.com/users/shorts9N_5YmJRHko then make sure to follow this next ua-cam.com/users/shorts-IMdGQKLwrg

there are actually a lot of factors that could cause that pc problem, harware issues, overheating, software and so on. check this video for a step by step fix ua-cam.com/video/dusz5P8GMGU/v-deo.html
if that one ram stick is at least 4gb the pc will still run normally, as for the dp not working there are many factors, it could be driver updated is needed, your dp cable is faulty, incompatible with monitor, or dp ports on either the gpu or monitor is bricked

i have a issue whenever i power up my pc it says no signal and the only reason i can boot it up is trough bios does anyone have a solution/ knows what the problem is?
if pc can boot to bios still then there must be something wrong with your boot drive (ssd/m2) or you might have a very old hdd, remove that first and try to boot the system with just the ssd/m2 boot drive
Can you please help me? Im having this problem after i installed new SSD 1TB to my system, after that, its not working. Also I've tried the resetting Ram, Cmos, still there's no display. Is it possible that its my PSU is the problem or the SSD ?
if your windows is installed in a slower drive it's most likely the motherboard set the new ssd as primary boot. clearing cmos should fix it but it seems like yours does not so try to remove the ssd atm and see how it goes
@@MacCoyzkie Thanks for the help! I have done the bios, and after a ton of research, i just disabled all the Boot Options except for the Boot Drive and put to the top.. that way, the computer will only boot using the BOOT DRIVE even if the BOOT drive is 256GB than my 1TB Drive.. it works..

I am having a tough issue, lately my screens go black when I’m gaming or when I watch movies. I recently got new ram and I thought this the issue, when I put my old ram back in the issue persisted. My PC stays on and I have no display so the monitors shut off, only way to get my screens back is a hard reset on my PC. Only happens on games that require a bit more juice, I can play Minecraft and lower end games. If I try EFT or Warhammer 40k it will kill the display after getting to the menu or a few seconds after loading into the game. Any help is appreciated. I have an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and I’m using a AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, this issue only started happening after I got new Ram. I don’t think it’s my GPU but I assume I over did my PSU, I have a new PSU coming soon but any ideas or thoughts are greatly appreciated.

If you already tried the above steps and it still didn't work and you know your gpu and psu are good. Check if all fans and lights turn on but mouse and keyboard doesn't light up.
Thanks for sharing your solution!

number one mistake is, you need to uninstall the old gpu driver first whenever you are going to install a new gpu, this is to prevent driver conflict. what if i have two plugged in at the same time and one of my montiors works and my first one doesn't. its not the cable because it when i unplug it from my pc it shows its getting input then goes away.
remove the main monitor and just use the 2nd monitor, if it shows display this have something to do with your driver, update it and also your windows

Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk B650 Wifi
CPU:AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 3.8 GHz 8-Core Processor
Ram: TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
GPU: Corsair TX650M Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply
Power Supply: Zotac GAMING Twin Edge OC GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB Video Card
Upgraded PC to the above specs in November with my PSU and GPU been owned since 2017 and 2020 respectively being put into the new build.
Troubleshooting I've done:
1) RAM Diagnostic found no error
2) OCCT and 3dMark test found no error and temperatures relatively stable with hotspot of GPU being at 83C an average at about 75C
3) I've used DDU to re-install drivers, rollback drivers, and reinstall newest again
4) I've reseated the GPU into the same lane, reseated into another PCI lane I even replugged
5) I've reseated the RAM
6) i've reset BIOS to default
The system ONLY goes into error during gaming with vide oplayback off youtube at 4k running fine, and cloud gaming working fine. The error also can occur as soon as 5 mins in or after 2 hours of gaming. Event Log Viewer doesn't show any errors associated with Nvidia Driver and only shows the kernel power error and how the system unexpectedly rebooted

I am facing a issue where my second monitor is not working but changing resolution and refresh rate to minimum it is workinng what could be the issue
there are a lot of factors but check these out first,
1. update gpu driver and windows too
2. Some monitors may not support certain resolutions or refresh rates, particularly if the monitor is older or lower-end. Check the monitor’s specifications to ensure it can handle the settings you're trying to use
3. graphics card limitation, perhaps the gpu can't handle both of your monitor.
You can also test the second monitor by itself with your PC, using its maximum settings without any other monitors connected.

Can you please help me 😢 ? i have this problem i checked the cables , cleaned the ram sticks , and tried another monitor but i don't have another pc to test the gpu and psu so
here is how the problem started and how it evolved to other problems
1 - A year ago when i pressed the power button , my pc kept in a booting state like the one in video ( no signal , and the keyboard and mouse don't light up ) the power button and the restart button don't work while stuck in this state , so it only gets out of this state by unplugging it , only for it to get back to the same state , so after a few pluggings and unpluggings OR sometimes by waiting to next day , the pc magically opens
and the problem randomly shows up three to two times a month and for the whole year i kept doing the same thing to solve it .
The problem I'm currently facing which occurred almost two days ago :
So i started my pc without facing problems , ((NOTE : my pc restarts when i accidentally touch/hit it with my elbow or with my foot or when i place the controller on top of it or i when try to plug something from behind , basically when something touches the computer case )) my pc restarted three times yesterday from this touching problem after the third touch , a blue screen showed up saying my pc will automatically restart and while it was restarting it stopped at the exact booting moment of my number 1 problem ((like the one in the video)) the only difference is that the restart button works (the power button doesn't) and this time after restarting ((by pressing the restart button that worked while there is no signal)) it took me straight to advanced options , so i exited them , and the pc tried to restart but the same problem happened again , so i pressed the restart button and it took me to the desktop , i thought it was solved , but after a minute the pc tried to restart again , but it got stuck during booting again , so i restarted again so i could press the power from the side of the screen since the physical one doesn't work , and remove the cmos battery but this time the pc gave me even less time in the desktop i didn't even get to press the power button so i tried again and it took me to advanced options again , so i pressed fix startup problems and waited but the samething happened so i unpluged the cords and removed the cmos battery but i found myself back to problem number 1 (the one in the video) except this one isn't fixable by removing the cmos or by waiting or by plugging and unplugging . could the problem be because i unpluged while it was stuck after pressing startup repair ?
Note : the blue screen (that says it's gonna fix something and then restart but doesn't fix and gets stuck while trying to ) is a new thing it never happened to me before .
Note : No , i don't have crowd strike downloaded .
So could you please tell me what to do ? And sorry for writing too much , and thanks any help would be appreciated .

@@jackjason1 1st part is a power issue, this could be due to unreliable psu, psu going faulty or power fluctuation around your area. I usually test the pc using other psu to check, i hope you can borrow one from a relative or friend to test it with your pc.
2nd you don't need bios update, if the cpu is working well with the mobo no need to touch that
3rd part, i think there is a short in your pc case, double check if there is a screw touching the motherboard. or you could just remove all parts and test the entire pc without the case, i know it is a tedious work but its the only way we can check

if it still does not work then this is probably a psu issue, if you have a spare one try it out with your new build. or you could also buy a psu tester like this ua-cam.com/users/shortsYrC3PlflLq0 to test it
@MacCoyzkie thank you I'll do that
@MacCoyzkie I have been lost. It's my first pc that I built 🥲
@@jaeminarkae3977 its ok, this happens and we just need to try our best to fix it. hopefully it goes well for u
Yo bro I just restarted the whole pc and it went black the monitor working and pc is working
same thing bro, try the suggestions in the video
I got a gaming computer and I plugged the display port into the computer and monitor then it said no signal
let's try the basics ua-cam.com/users/shorts-IMdGQKLwrg
Been havning this issue for the past 2vweeks . I have narrowed it down to the riser cable and the psu .
moved the PC and after that it has not been able to connect to the monitor, all the lights in the PC light up and the keyboard and the mouse also light up, I have tried connecting my laptop to the monitor and it works. Does anyone know what is wrong?
if you have a gpu make sure the hdmi/dp is connected to it. if you already done that double check the hardware and cable connections make sure all are connected all the way
In my case screen suddenly truns black (no signal) sometimes it's running and other time restart by it self. After restarting holding the power button fixes the issue but when it turns on my gpu driver keeps getting disabled. I have a rx570 gpu and 550 watt 80+ bronze corsair psu. Tried all of the steps shown but still having the same issues. I can't tell if it's the gpu or the psu.
can you try this out ua-cam.com/video/bsivwuSlPL4/v-deo.html skip to 4:08
I used to use 1650 gpu then after 7-8 months issue of no signal started to show. Seemed that the gpu got damaged and then I got myself another gpu 5600 xt and after using it for 2 months now the issue started to show up again. I have tried cleaning the ram and reset the CMOS as well. Please help me find the issue.
what's your usual cpu and gpu temps while on heavy workload? The GPU is likely to fail only if you experience repeated shutdowns while gaming then you just start the pc again and again without trying to know what could have caused it

@@MacCoyzkie I am a noobie in terms of computer knowledge. Never really checked temperature.
@@SabbirAhmed-lp8zs ok no problem, check this out ua-cam.com/users/shortsoHIQTSTSDfg and let's see the temps. looks like your build is just fine assuming the psu is from known brand with 80+ cert then it shouldn't be causing low power draw. for now let's check the temps in idle and gaming
I hope u reply but I just built my pc today 16gb ram with the b450m ds3h WiFi motherboard and I have it it’s first boot tried 3 different hdmi cables because I don’t have a gpu plssss help me idk what to do
what's the entire pc specs? perhaps your cpu does not support integrated graphics
@@MacCoyzkie my full specs are a ryzen 5 5500 16gb of ram b450m ds3h WiFi mother and I don’t have a gpu yet
@@MacCoyzkie thanks bro for pointing out the obvious that my cpu does not have intergrated graphics I really appreciate your help I searched it up thanks bro

I have a 3060 ti ftw paired with intel i5-12600k motherboard MSI MAG B760 tomahawk, it works but when I try to run a game my monitor goes completely black and my fans start spinning like crazy what could it be
let's check the basics first, have you udpated windows and gpu driver yet? if you already have try checking the cpu and gpu temps ua-cam.com/users/shortsoHIQTSTSDfg make sure they don't go beyond 90c, if its overheating try to lower game graphics settings and open pc case side panel for more airflow. if your game is online try this out ua-cam.com/video/Azf79t1vkaU/v-deo.html
This always happens to me when I unplug my pc and replug it back in. The first time I just brought new ram sticks and now when I unplugged it, the same thing happened and I brought new sticks and it still isn’t working. What do I do bro 😢
can you tell me the pc specs and also tell me how the pc problem started?
Mine, while I'm playing some demanding game, the monitors shuts down and, after a while, the PC restart (maybe gives a bluescreen? dunno). Do you think it may be power supply?
It could handle normally, it just started a couple of days ago
I have the same issue …smh
i replied to your first comment 😁
@Liltryhardfn I already replied to @DhiegoLucio , i'll let you know what could have cause this. three things, your pc might not be able to run the game or you haven't updated windows and gpu driver yet or you are using windows 11
@MacCoyzkie It’s runs really well but only turns and off when I’m playing fortnight that’s it other than it does that when I’m on the internet too I’ve updated window 11 and graphic drivers
@@TwoSodas since the game is fortnite you might want to try this out then ua-cam.com/video/Azf79t1vkaU/v-deo.html
