First rule with RVs: STOP TURNING EVERY VALVE AND FLIPPING EVERY SWITCH! 😊 Trust me; at some point you will wish you could have seen how it was configured before you arrived.

What an amazingly well preserved rv. If one can get past the dated ness of it it's a really good usable RV. PS do not drive with the propane on and make sure the refrigerator is not running while you're driving. Extreme fire hazard!

I would spend a couple bucks and switch all the lights to nice warm LED's. It would probably help ease the stress on the generator and would help minimize that extra bit of heat. It looked like the generator wasn't super well ventilated but I suppose it's either ventilation or noise. This is 10000% one of the coolest rigs you've snagged in a hot minute

Randy, your electrical gremlins that you're experiencing is probably due to weak HOUSE BATTERIES (the 6 Volt Deep Cycle ones). Get your batteries checked at your earliest convenience. Before you do any extensive time on the road, check the production dates on the tires (all 6) and check your tire pressures all around. RVs tend to blow-out the inner dually tires with regularity when not inflated properly. Harbor Freight has an attachment for your cordless drill that spins and can be used to remove those graphics that are peeling. I've had 6 RVs since 1985, all types and sizes of motorhomes. Just about anything that can happen to an RVer has happened to me! Looks like your tailpipe mounting bracket is disconnected where you're experiencing the fuel leak.

For your oven, push the knob in and to light the pilot in your oven. Make sure you use a water pressure regulator anytime you are hooked up to city water so you don’t blow the water lines in the RV.

I think you’d easily get $7500. Power wash the outside and possibly try to buff it. Peel off the worn out vinyl stickers and maybe get some new ones printed. If you’re at a campsite and running on plug in power you should be able to sleep much more comfortable without the noise and heat of the generator. Maybe dynamat the generator compartment?

I suggest that you read all of the manuals before you start just trying to use everything. As for the refrigerator, it may be unplugged which is accessible from the exterior of the RV through a hatch right behind the refrigerator. The oven will only light once the pilot is lit which requires the oven knob to be pressed in and held in until the pilot is lit and stays lit which takes about a minute. You have a lot of learning to do about RV’s even if you plan on selling it right away.

First turn off your hose to the RV the pipes can not handle city pressurer. You need a RV city water pressure regulator. It will blow out your water pipe valve. Second fix your ⛽ leak ASAP. I know tons about motorhomes as I am a RV technician. . The generator will cut off when your gas tank falls to 1/4 a tank. Check the breaker's for the generator. The fridge can run off 110 or propane. You need to have your RV level for the fridge to properly work. Also consider switching all the lights to LED. 2700 is a great deal you can easily get 8000 - 20,000 for her a good median price is around 14k. If you sell it. list it for 20k let them talk you down to 14k. No less. Good luck Randy

That’s a excellent time capsule. The Motorhome was Built by Georgie Boy and you got a well built deal. It should last.

Some people find the hum and vibration of the generator to be soothing and puts them to sleep. As for the gas leak, if it’s that far back it’s not going to catch on fire from the exhaust temperature but still needs to be fixed asap for obvious reasons

That was an awesome score on that RV. Hell of deal and it's nice too. You scored big! Congrats man. All you have to do now is fix the gas leak and she'll be good to go.

You have a 3 way fridge, it can run on propane, 12 volt or 120 volt. It needs to be perfectly level to run on propane. The switch under the sink is to turn on the water pump.

You lucked out with that aluminum roof. That was an upgrade option when it was new. You'll likely never have any problems with it, unlike composite roofs of that age.

I drove a bus in the Army with a similar set up. 1991 chevy 4500 454 3speed cut away. Drove great, got us back to the ranges and back at Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri.
