      I got a bridge for sale, you interested? This guy is a clown, what has he actually rebuilt? He gets off on new tires and oil changes. He bashes the backyard mechanics and what does he do? Changes oil. This guy has no clue about mechanics or rebuilds. If you tell him anything he doesn't like he will block you and cry about it.

    I agree with selling the Sebring as a parts car. It’s not worth fixing. Anyone who sells a vehicle with shoddy repair work and a compromised frame should lose there dealers license. And, if someone buys a vehicle with shoddy repair work and a compromised frame, and then perishes in an accident, that car dealer should spend the rest of their life in prison.

    • @scottkrafft6830

      Chrysler's from that era are TRASH! If I had the choice I'd force Daimler to buy back all the ones that have frame issues to prevent anymore innocent lives lost. They made it, they shouldn't have the ability to skirt the blame just because they sold the company when things went south.

      Looking to do the same thing myself in AZ. I'm starting by just following the auctions to see what cars go for and which ones are hot vs. which ones will sell but don't get the hype. Saw 3 cars go for under 1k on Tues. (04/02/19) with clean titles/run and drive that all had a kbb value of 3k-6k. Would've been a quick flip to get them sold for $500 under kbb.

      Adam Kalinowski yea I’ve been doing the same thing and I have seen a lot of steals go by that I definitely would’ve snagged up... I also read recently that you can’t sell more than 6 cars a year without having a dealership... at least in my state.

    You can buy motors and transmissions only at nicer salvage yards. They will give you a guarantee as well. Take a look online. Just a suggestion.

    • @beatglauser9444
      @beatglauser9444 5 років тому

      Yes you are right. But maybe those parts would be much more expensive than a complete copart car. With a donor car you have a lot of car parts left. And from what I have heard, in the USA the money you get for scrap metal is not so low neighter.

    • @rogerfleury9759
      @rogerfleury9759 5 років тому

      The hassle of bringing a car home just for a engine, that’s what I was meaning, is much more expensive in time and hassle taking it out of the car, rather than a engine and transmission ready to put in a car. Randy was just looking for engine and transmission. And that’s what I was talking about.

    • @beatglauser9444
      @beatglauser9444 5 років тому

      @@rogerfleury9759 The point is that Randy has a trailer, a shop and tons of place to park a donor car. If he ever plans on making some money with this shop, it is important to make smart financial desicions. Why paying double or triple for an engine and trans if you can get a complete car? The transport with his trailer will cost him a handfull of $ for gas.
      Like that he will have all the small things you must always run around for, like clips, bolts and tons of other small parts. As said you can get cash back for parts and scrap.
      And the engine and trans must also be picked up.

    • @uncleheide
      @uncleheide 5 років тому

      Agree with Roger. Buying a whole parts car is a decent option when you can sell off the parts you don’t use. Unfortunately, Randy doesn’t have the licensing that allows him to dismantle cars and sell parts. Hauling the entire carcass back to the junk yard won’t be nearly as profitable...

      Next time around, I recommend that you don't inform the seller that you are desperate to buy a particular car (i.e. the part's car Dart).
      You were asking to be bid upwards by someone who knows you are so interested in buying it.
      (Save that part of a videoed walk around for after the bidding)

    2015 GTI with a tune is super fun to drive! I tried to get my buddy to order the funky seats when he got it. Its kind of an old school gti look. But he went with the leather, its nice too. Regardless of the interior .. its a fun little hatch

    I respect the fact that you have Good Morals, that alone speaks volumes about you, that Sebring definitely isn't worth any more but being salvaged, Liked this video!!!

    You should try to pick up that F250, Randy. That was a really nice truck and I think it would be perfect for hauling a trailer with cars on it. The truck is so nice though, I'd probably go ahead and fix that right bedside. I bet it would be a super-easy repair for Weird Beard.
    I also really liked that Mazda 6 and the black Focus hatchback. I would love to see you pick one or both of them up.

    I gained a lot of respect for you @16:40. That’s the kind of dealership I would want to buy from and if I’m ever in your area I might pick one up from weird beard for the thrill of it. Keep it up.

    The person who stole the keys is not a thief but a buyer wants to distance other buyers from his rival on this car.

    I thought that the Sebring would be repairable, but then I saw the state of the frame rails. Game Over.
