19:23 that car (red 2012 Mazda 3) was rear ended at a redlight by a dump truck with 30 tons (60,000 lbs) of gravel in it that had lost its brakes driver survived with minor injuries it was amazing I thought he was dead but got out though the windshield and sat on the curb that was April 3rd never thought I would see it on your channel tho lol

The 2.7 is a Twin Turbo V6. It has 325HP and 375 LB FT of torque. It's got some good power for a little 6 banger. Great on gas too.

That 2.7 is a great motor. I have a 5.0 coyote in my 2016 F-150 XLT FX4 and love the truck but the 2.7 is very reliable and powerful 325hp and gets awesome MPG. It’s tough seeing a truck like mine in that condition but it could be fixed, the low mileage is great! Cab is perfect on that truck.

I commented earlier but, Was on my lunch break & didn't have enough time to finish so, I am now finishing your video & wanted to say, That focus is the same as mine & I have about 225k & yes, every part is new because I like to stay ahead of all needed maintenance & repairs! timing belt, tensioner, water pump, serpentine belt & serpentine belt tensioner, brake calipers, all new brake lines, rear wheel cylinders, bearings, brake hardware, rotors, heck, new quick struts, & shocks on the rear with new coil springs, sway bar links, ball joints, I went overboard & changed the main & rod bearings to ensure longevity along with the upper & lower oil pan gaskets, valve cover gasket, thermostat & housing, overflow & coolant hoses, cooling fans, cooling fan solenoid, cht sensor, both o2 sensors & much, much more, I should have just saved the money & purchased a much newer car but, I NEEDED TRANSPORTATION & IT JUST WORKED OUT THIS WAY BUT, DEPENDING UPON PRICE, That focus might be decent basic transportation? I swapped in a 4G wifi enabled 7" smart radio w/camera's. That one needs upgraded!!!

    A couple of things:
    1. The Boxster engine is in the middle. Its quite hard to get to it but its there. Fun car to drive, but not really worth that much.
    2. No one was in the crashed Mazda at 18:00, as no airbags deployed anywhere in the car.

Randy, maybe Kia and Hyundai from 20 years ago were "disposable" but nowadays they are really good cars that are holding up in value rather well. The Sportage (suv) is pretty good competition for the rav4 and the cr-v.

that F150 FX4 with the bent frame: you're not supposed to weld or re-bend heat treated frames.
It has as much HP as the 5.4 and is torquey but there are many issues with getting that much HP out of a small engine like that. Fordtechmakuloco has done all kinds of videos on the eco boost issues.

    • @matthewterry5540

The Lincoln MKZ was a dressed up Ford Fusion. Newer MKZ also has the same 3.7 V6 from the Mustang. Five Hundred only was only rebadged as a Mercury Montego. Lincoln MKS would be a rebadged Ford Taurus however.

In Australia, if a car is listed as a Statuory Write off, it cannot be re- registered in an attempt to get rid of those who woule steal a car & rebirth it.
A repairable writeoff may be re-registered if rebuilt to a suitable standard but a statuary writeoff cannot.

The white Ford Focus is a 2000-2004 model. The 2005-2007 models have different headlights, with the turn signals in the headlamp assembly, and the tail lights were redesigned as well, with the reverse lights on the top, and they weren’t quite as big.

We had to tell them what we wanted to look at and get escorted out to the vehicle(s). They said we could not take pictures or video either. The guy who escorted us said its in their "rules" that you cannot video or take pics. I could not find it in their rules, but IDK. They said about a year ago they stopped letting people come in and walk around without an escort.

I lost 2 bikes because I had a lock on the bike but didn't lock it, thinking this will only take a minute, WRONG, lol. 1st bike was brand new Trek I paid about $900 for. I rode it from east NY out to Michigan to Wichita Kansas where I delivered a vhs tape to a friend from my brother-in-law. wanted to go all the way to caifornia, but got stuck in Wichita. 2nd bike, I had a couple hundred in but still sucked. now I have an '88 Raleigh technum tri-lite I rebuilt. I keep this one locked, lol. oh, well such is life and thanks for sharing.

The black Chrysler with the front end damage of which, You could not open the hood, Shares MANY PARTS WITH THE SEBRING! Just from the driver side viewpoint that you showed, I can see several similarities like the remote battery terminal, the air box, Keep in mind, I have a sebring in my driveway & I am very familiar with it 196k & still running very strong!!! It's 2.7 runs like a champion & has never given us any issues in the 4-5 years that we have owned it!!! A lot of people hate on the 2.7 but, Ours has been great!!! bI just drove it yesterday, up a very steep hill & was pleasantly surprised at how well it takes this hill compared to my focus! I never want a 4 cylinder vehicle again!!!!!!! Id rather have a larger displacement, easy running, less stressed, & more torque having v-6 or v-8!!!

Great mix of both save and scrap vehicles. Sure makes you wonder how some of those drivers and passengers fared. (Mazda, not so well) When we used to preview these types of cars many years ago they still had blood and hair stuck in the windshield. I guess these days airbags do their job as intended.

I definitely prefer potential rebuilds video over carnage, though noticed no donation or flood cars which you love alot, but great video non the less. I would highly recommend the Kia Forte, Hyundai Elantra (the second one I think), and the Dodge avenger; these cars could be rebuilt for cheap and make good flip cars. Anyway, great work bro.

I mean u can fix a car that has been rear ended but If u didn't know when the a car rear ends another one the bottom gets pushed from the collision and causes transmission problems later then

I can’t dislike the video haha but I don’t mind the carnage

The Lincoln has a safety door latch...pull both the lock and the door handle to open..Use index and middle fingers at the same time

I appreciate your willingness to listen to your audience about the mix of rebuilds and carnage! Also, don’t drop $250 on a new mic, you can replace the puffy filter filter for pennies on the dollar

I own a 12 Gt and a 14 3.7 mustang I love em both. Saying that. The v6 with the gt floor mats and the coyote in the back really bothers me lol

Definitely agree. While the GT has the power, the V6 does well and is fairly attractive. Why rice a V6? The car is probably happier at copart now.

Does it make sense to check the oil after a startup?

The MKZ! That door handle issue is super common and also an easy fix, happened to my 2011, which I totaled in Jan and is now at the Springfield Mo Copart. :(
