Despite the madness of the past 3 years and watching her journey in this video, it is...just nice to watch her great spirit, might as well enjoy the craziness of it, having fun with it by all those special effect and supporting music for each scene. Indeed a compelling video, story...this comment come after watching her latest Yunnan outing...
WOW! I've been watching your videos and following your footsteps whenever I could. I cannot begin to express how happy I am that you finally reached home. The scene with your mom, and later with your dad, and the laughter brought tears to my eyes. As a nomad traveling nonstop, I'm amazed by your journey and how you carried yourself. Most of all, I am so grateful for your honest impression and all the lessons you gave in your videos. Rest. Enjoy your time at home and hit the road to make more videos. The world needs more road warriors like yourself. A billion likes and bows to you❤️❤️🙇♀️🙇♀️
The joy of watching your mom of your arriving home is worth the hassle and inconvenience of this long journey. Additionally, all the tests ensure you are protecting your parents.
Well done for getting through all those rigorous procedures! I think the toilet paper machine might just be a technological step too far though…crazy! I could really relate to your hotel room routine - I’ve just finished 3 weeks (and 300 hours) of editing photos for a client’s book. I have the tv on but sometimes I look up and realise I’ve not looked at the screen for hours! It’s worrying to see the paranoia (your taxi companion) but I think we’ve all felt like that at some time in the last 3 years. Your return home was a joy to watch, and I love the way you use music in all your videos - very cinematic. How you managed to learn such perfect English is also incredible. By far my favourite UA-cam discovery this year - you have phenomenal communicating and presenting skills. Keep up the wonderful work 💜
It's incredible that you've been to so many countries and met so many people yet you've avoided COVID! So happy for you, now that you're home. We've watch many home coming videos for mainland Chinese but you still managed a different perspective. Your videos are getting better for sure.
@@kapochi007 Sweden here. I have not been sick in covid since the beginning of this madness, not one single sick day away from work. ;-) It's all a chinese orchestrated scam from day one.
I'm enjoying your travel videos but skipped forward to watch your homecoming before going back to watch the rest. I'm impressed how efficient China is with the quarantine hotel and the regular scanning. Shame the taxi had a passenger that wasn't happy but you had a special meeting with your mother. 😂x
So happy to see you home . A big thank you for showing us the process of how China handled covid situation . Amazed with the high tech scanning . Thanks Yan💟
After watching couple of your videos. Can't believe you describe yourself as an introvert! Really enjoying your videos and looking forward to watching more of them! Thank you for your unique view of your world! Stay safe!
The last leg of the journey that you walked back home and saw your mom.........the feeling is indescribable. It is just so raw, and you captured it so nicely.
I'm glad to see you reached home safely. I've been following you 2 weeks ago. You shoot a great videos by introducing Malaysia esp the East Malaysia, Sarawak.
So glad you are home OK. It was an absolute privilege to be allowed to share the journey with you. I can understand that your parents were so happy to have you home: you are a total delight! ❤
I am German and I have been in China from May 2021 till April 2023 and I went trough good and very tough time during Covid period in Shanghai. Btw my quaranteen after landing in Shanghai was 14 days in strict confinement like you have done and additional 7 days in loose conditions in one other hotel (can go out and walk around hotel, but no contact with people). Unfortunately no award for this exceptional devoting for my company
In the end of your long go-back home journey, you brought tears into my eyes 😭, you are very very very strong woman. I really appreciate you ❤❤❤ My story: During serious pandemic 😷 I couldn’t go back to my country so after my graduation I found a job in China and stayed in China afterwards and I really loved it that Chinese cared a lot to everyone during that worse condition. And I also thanked to God that it was my best decision that I didn’t leave China after my graduation and China 🇨🇳 is a great country ❤ that didn’t force us to leave country. Instead of leaving, ask us to find a job with a limited new visa duration. And finally I got a job in a very modern city of China “Shenzhen” and made many good memories 😊
Looming back, your home coming was so touching. The world has been through a tough 4 years, but now all seems to be returning to normal and we can share our space with others more freely now.
Oh boy, this is a very emotional video. All the tests and quarantine time you had to go through. End was the sweetest ! You are a very brave girl, may God bless you always ✨ - love from 🇮🇳

At 24:28 looked like you were almost going to cry to finally reach home, the chinese train station looked impressive, congrats on your amazing journey and videos
Congrats.. You are home. That was quite amazing journey. Welcome home. We have the same phrase in Thai. For me, I asked a Masadonian workers that share their coffee with me what they're thinking. Your journeys are much purer, to me, it give a sense to life on it own.
Hi Yan, I'm so happy for you and your parent that you are finally home. Guess with the huge China population, its way more efficient to look after its citizen using hi tech method. Good thing that China is financially and technologically able to do so. And 'bullet' trains are the norm in China. Anyway, was surprised that one has to go thru so many PCR tests. Meantime, do take your much needed rest at home and we looked forward to your next video...much admiration from K L, M'sia..🇲🇾
Hi Yan, really happy to see you made it home. I am a Kuchingite, started your first video at Ep.35 as a suggestion video by UA-cam, then watched 36, 37 & 38. The videos are very well done, very informative with good background music, so I decided to sub and start from Ep.01. Took me 2 weeks to come to this video. Along the journey, the most relax and enjoy video would be the Vardavar Festival in Armenia. Most beautiful building, I would say the mosque fills with mirrors. The most worrying part was the jungle tracking in Cameron Highland, where you were alone and it started to rain, luckily you found the way out before night fall. Will be waiting for your Season 2 videos. Btw did you make a saving or exceeded the initial 8,000 Euros ticket home?
Hello Yan! Very happy to see you back home. Glad that you have actually video recorded your return home event which I was looking forward to seeing. Thank you Yan. Do take good care of yourself and keep up your spirit. May you have many more good years with you as you are still young. Take care!

Welcome home, Yan! What an adventure it has been for you. I've been following your travels from Europe through the Middle East, Asia and now you're back home in China. Have a happy homecoming. You must have a lot of catching up with your parents and family. Looking forward to more of your videos from your homeland in the future. All the best and thank you. 👍😊
Home sweet home. The covid prevention protocol seems very convoluted but if the Chinese citizens can endure it, who are we to criticize it. Glad you arrived home safely and I'm sure you will enjoy and spend quality time with your family.

Wow, it was complicated! Happy for you that finally are at home with your family. Airport and train station was very modern and clean. Much better than what is available in the US in California

well the you getting home. what a time we`ve all been having. And well done the Hong Kong airport staff who had to do all that helping in 3 different languages!
Wow such a big contrast of a few months when you transfered in HK airport. For us it was basically go through transfer immigration and security and board (with facial recognition), which was a cool experience as well. No checks apart from the usual transfer checks.
The father's reaction, after not seeing his daughter, reminded me that this is something that has always surprised me in the way of being in China. I saw it many times. The son or daughter may have been there for 3 years, 10 years. etc away from home, and when they meet their parents again, they do not show more affection, surprise, etc. They greet as if the one who has returned was seen for the last time a couple of hours ago. Things of culture, behavior.
I don't think you are an introvert with all the adventures, meeting and socializing with a diverse kind of people, documenting those adventures in vlogs for the world to see, etc. Introverts will be fearful of those things. Maybe in the past you were one but you definitely is very outgoing and bold. Anyway hope you will have an enjoyable family reunion and time. 😂
