Free FRAA free and easy. Thanks, it's be amazing that is a good song.I like it too.Dark spirit way you're talking dark spirit radar, when you're saying FRAA for you're amazing.Let's start expanding
This is why REAL, old country can't be beat; you can see and feel his angst, and pain( he was so good at it)🤠Mark Chestnut, Ricky Van Shelton( statue of a fool video)is also so dang good
Love Earl Thomas but along the same vein is Gene Watson; 'Love In A Hot Afternoon'(LIVE), 'Fourteen Carat Mind', 'Farewell Party' & "Nothing Sure Looked Good On You' :)
I love his voice!! He had so many hits!! I love Alabama too for harmonies I also LOVE Diamond Rio for their amazing harmonies!! Please react to them again soon!!❤❤❤
Love ETC!!! My fave is “What I’d Say”. He was the first white artist to appear on Soul Train, proving his soulful voice had cross cultural appeal. Would not be a big deal nowadays, but back then, it was groundbreaking.
He has SO many great songs. You might check out Nobody Falls Like a Fool, Love Don't Care Whose Heart it Breaks, Once in a Blue Moon, and Heavenly Bodies
That used to be "my" song for awhile back in the day. Mostly because it was the first song I ever danced with a certain person to. Unfortunately there were Rose Colored Glasses involved in that relationship for awhile.
While you are on a 80s and 90s country kick…look up Steve Wariner. Amazing list of hits. My personal favorite is Leave Her Out of This, but there are so many more. Some Fools Never Learn…Two Tear Drops…Holes in the Floor of Heaven, the list could go on and on.
The Weekend by Steve Wariner is Our Song- mine and my husband of 35 years - we started out only seeing each other on weekends- and it continued for two years before we got married. The first gift he gave me was a Steve Wariner cassette tape!
Y'all mentioned Alabama having great harmony, and that's true. But y'all have not yet listened to the Gatlin brothers. They also have great harmony, especially in the song "Broken Lady". I think y'all would really enjoy that. You also mentioned country mutic being able to make you cry. On that note, you should check out "Teddy Bear" by Red Sovine. He is my favorite country storytelling artist.
Check out his duet with Emmylou Harris, "We Believe in Happy Endings." He also sang duets with Keith Whitley, Gus Hardin, and Anita Pointer and wrote hits for Conway Twitty. You can't go wrong with any of his hits.
He’s one of my favorites. Try his song ‘What I’d Say’ next. Another one I’d like to see a reaction to is ‘All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight’ by Hank Williams Hr.
Y’all mentioned Alabama with the best Country harmonies; but you’re missing another great harmonizing groups; Three brothers from Texas; active since the early 1970s. Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers; eldest brother Larry as lead singer with Rudy and Steve as backing vocals. Check out “Broken Lady” from 1975.👍❤️👍❤️👍
ETC was a terrific country artist who sang with a soulful and wonderful voice. “That Was A Close One” and “I Can’t Win For Losing You” are two of his best songs.
Need to do Once in a Blue Moon. You also loved the Keith Whitley song need to check out the duet he did with Earl Thomas Conlee. .Their voices blend together so well they have the same tone . Brotherly Love.
Yall have to check out Vern Gosdin. Chisled In Stone or Is It Raining at Your House. Another great country singer was Doug Stone. One of his songs is I'd Be Better Off is a must listen
What I love about your video reactions is that you don't seem to judge the content. You accept if for what it is. I felt that your reaction to this particular song was so beautiful, accurate, and nonjudgmental. Thank you for appreciating the beauty and the talent.
Beautiful sad song, but it is still about cheating. That’s what makes it a country song.😊 For great harmonies, The Oak Rig Boys have incredible harmonies and tons of hit songs demonstrating that harmony.
Love the piano in the song this was my favorite album for years. Seeing the video brought a deeper love for the song as well, not as well known as some others but my favorite of his since 1984.
You’ve listened to Keith Whitley in the past. These two have a song they do together called Brotherly Love. Awesome story behind it with two of the most unique voices in country.
side note to this song!!! As a singer in a CW band in the 80's - whenever this song was song - there were far fewer folks on the dance floor that the song before or after!!! Guilty conscience on someone's part?? makes one wonder as this song IS about cheating on your spouse!! The couples ON the dance floor were all solid married folks or first-time dance partners!! This was a dance hall near an Army base in TX so we had a huge single male crowd every night - they were all dancing but the local population - not so much!!! wonder why this song triggered that??? Love this artist!!!!!
ETC is one of the greatest nobody of todays world knows about! Legendary Every song he did was great, but his best in my opinion both melodically and lyrically was “What I’d Say” As a songwriter, that one is So well written
I played a little in a country band back in the day. When we play the first few licks of this song, people headed to the dance floor in droves! ETC was awesome!
You all should check out Vern Gosdin as well. Earl Thomas Conley, Vern Gosdin, and John Conlee had distinctive voices and when they came on the radio you knew who it was and that it was a great song.
This theme spawned at least two #1 hits. This one was a #1 in '83. Mary MacGregor had a similarly themed #1 song, "Torn Between Two Lovers", in 1976. Equal time for the girls?
Such a beautiful sounding song, so much so that you forget it's about cheating and leaving your spouse, he sounds very much like my ex after 24 yrs, after he left and I found out he had a fiancée before the D was complete. It's a problem inside the person leaving, it's never really about the one left behind. One guess on who's the happiest now 🙂, while the other is still not complete after 15 yrs gone, but he's still M to the other person so all is good there and I wish no harm to him. ETC's best song is "Once in a Blue Moon"
“Once in a blue moon” by Earl Thomas Conley.. you need to do this one

His song Crowd "Around the Corner" is a song about days gone by and it brings a tear to your eyes @ the end or the video. RIP to another great voice.
I love earl Thomas Connelly. This is one of my favorite.
John Conley Rose Color Glasses is a good song.
John Conley had some great hits but often gets overlooked by reactors. An excellent suggestion.
That used to be "my" song for awhile back in the day. Mostly because it was the first song I ever danced with a certain person to. Unfortunately there were Rose Colored Glasses involved in that relationship for awhile.
Please give Vern Gosdin a listen! Please do Chiseled In Stone!!!!

"Angel In Disguise" by Earl Thomas Conley is a beautiful song. Some might argue it's his best song. I'd have to go with "What I'd Say" personally.
Another good band with amazing harmonies is Diamond Rio. Beautiful mess and one more day.
Great suggestion
Y'all mentioned Alabama having great harmony, and that's true. But y'all have not yet listened to the Gatlin brothers. They also have great harmony, especially in the song "Broken Lady". I think y'all would really enjoy that.

He’s one of my favorites. Try his song ‘What I’d Say’ next. Another one I’d like to see a reaction to is ‘All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight’ by Hank Williams Hr.
For some great harmony try The Gatlin Brothers- All the Gold in California.
They definately need some Gatlin Brothers!!! "I've done Enough Dying Today" will always be my favorite!
Y’all mentioned Alabama with the best Country harmonies; but you’re missing another great harmonizing groups; Three brothers from Texas; active since the early 1970s. One of my faves!
“You Still Move Me” by Dan Seals is similar to this one in subject matter. Great songs.
I Think you would really enjoy don Williams - Good ol’ boys like me“ similar styles, era and genre.
Oh my gosh yes!! They should go down the Don Williams rabbit hole. 😊
One of the greatest country singers of all time, right up there with Keith Whitley. Thanks for doing some more ETC!
One of all time favorite singers. Thats his brother singing background.
I adore ETC's song, "Once in a Blue Moon." I hope y'all will react to it sometime. 😊

Once in a blue moon is one of his best songs.
ETC is LEGEND. This is one of the "best" cheating songs in Country Music. Great reaction
The backing vocalist is Earl's brother.
This song was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1983.

Amber, you'll love his Brotherly Love with Keith Whitley- bet you'll recognize your brothers in the lyrics!✌️❤️
You should really go down the Earl Thomas Conley rabbit hole.
I can’t win for losing you. ETC was a great singer!
I’ve always heard this song was about losing a loved one and moving on in life with someone new. Puts a different perspective on it.
This man is a legend...please play more of him..

Earl Thomas Conley, Once in a Blue Moon
ETC was not only a great singer but an accomplished sculptor
Diamond Rio has the best harmonies.

ETC is one of the greatest nobody of todays world knows about!
Legendary
Every song he did was great, but his best in my opinion both melodically and lyrically was “What I’d Say”
As a songwriter, that one is So well written
It’s a totally true story and he did marry the love of his life and they were together until he died. She’s the sweetest woman on earth.
ETC is one of my favorite country singers. His voice is so unique and natural.
I played a little in a country band back in the day. When we play the first few licks of this song, people headed to the dance floor in droves! ETC was awesome!
Sometimes we think we are with the "right one", until the "right one" comes along. Then choices have to be made and they are never easy.
He is Blake Sheltons influence and his hero😉🤠❤
But unfortunately Blake Shelton couldn't carry his lunch pail!
Great reaction I love that song I’d really love for you to react to Vince Gill’s pocket full of Gold another great song
Earl Thomas Conley was the only country artist to appear on Soul Train.
It was a duet with Anita Pointer.
amber you need to do earl Thomas Conley and Keith Whitley. brotherly love you have to do the official video
Rock and a hard place indeed. I suggest Martha Davis--Don't Tell Me The Time (1987).
"What I'd say" is probably my next fav after this one. Worth the listen!
