Erin, I LOVE how real, honest and accessible you are! Thanks for putting yourself out there and taking us with you. We (your viewers) are not only inspired by your style but by who you are as a person. XO
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this, Erin. You have always been beautiful and I think you have a gift for style because you have always been stylish. The longer I know you, the more precious you are. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself. Love to you, Melissa
You prolly dont care at all but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot the password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
@Leonidas Korbyn Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Sounds like many of your viewers, including myself, find it easy to watch you because you are so genuine. We all have our own journeys, but your authenticity resonates with us and leaves us excited about your next video in this series. Thank you!
You are so delicate, Erin ! I love the way you talk about your journey, not bragging, very low profile, you make me feel close to you as a woman, although our lives, age etc are so different ! Thank you so much !
You are amazing! Last week my 23 year old son and I were talking about who we wanted to be and how we would like to dress and aspire to be. I made him look at your video and was telling him how much I admire you and your style. I am 41 almost 42 and on a very low budget but love clothing and quality things. So does my 23 year old. I say all this to say from the bottom of my heart thank you for these videos and all your hard work. I love your channel and have learned so much. What a blessing to find you.
Oh my goodness! What a sweetie and charmer you are. I have liked your videos and watched many of them over the past couple of years. I am MUCH older (70) and have a daughter about your age, but after losing 40lbs needed to renew my clothing and style. You have helped me alot in that regard over the past couple of years. Many of the steps in your development are shared by SO many women. Weight gain with pregnancy, moves to other cities, career and motherhood combined, etc. Thank you for sharing YOUR personal journey because it makes YOU more real to your watchers. You are not just the lovely well dressed blogger because you shared your story, your challenges. It takes real maturity to open up this way and I commend you for it. I wish you a glorious FUTURE 40+ years enjoying your life and may it be as growth filled as your first 40.
This is a great series. Erin, you look like a queen but you're so down to earth! You are a thoughtful, intelligent woman! I would love to hear more about how you finally gained your confidence and how you met your husband.
Love your style. I am your Mother's age but I find your style timeless and love these videos. Haven't seen them all yet but I am looking forward to seeing them. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and your hip style.
Dear Erin, I loved hearing more about your background. I also came from a very modest childhood but now am able to have more. I hope you will have continued success with your channel because I believe in you.
Wow, it was amazing getting to know your background and seeing you in the news. Living in NY (and France and London ) really made me step up my game as well. Loved hearing about your journey. ♥ Elle
Thank you for sharing. My son died last year in March. To say the least my life has changed forever. I'm ready for a change, I need a change. I'm 60 and just want to feel good about myself as I navigate this new journey. Great series.
Wow Erin I love this new series you have created, also love learning more about you and how you became more knowledgeable about style and styling people. You are so young and classy, it seems when you speak your so much older, but look young, if you know what I mean ! lol.. Very interesting your past jobs, something to be so proud of, I can't believe you walked away from those kind of jobs some women would just die for ... Iam 63 but still learning some things from you, so keep up the great work, and looking forward to the next one ! Have a great Friday, ox Denise
Hi Denise... I have been so lucky in my career to get those jobs that a million women would want. I didn't talk much about it, but after Miss Universe, I went on to become the Entertainment Producer at WCBS. It's a position that no longer exists...a luxury in a newsroom for sure. I got to meet all kinds of people, attend very swanky events, parties, award shows, red carpets, etc. BUT...my favorite job and the one I am most passionate about...is the one I'm doing right now. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! Thank you for your sweet and thoughtful words. Erin xo
Wow Erin, very impressive ! You are sure a achiever ! Must be proud of yourself, and your mom must be too, I know I would be if my daughter did all that !
So well put together! Loved all the pics, so interesting to hear your story, sorry for all the troubles you faced but on the bright side that's what has made you so strong and awesome today! thanks for sharing your journey with us Erin!
I do not feel sad about it anymore because all of my past hardships have played a really important role in the mother, wife and businesswoman I am today. A blessing in disguise...Thanks, Ayesha! Erin xo
I am very excited about the new series, Erin! It's also very interesting to hear your story and to get to know you better, even though I have been watching you for the last couple of years! Love your videos !
Thank you for sharing, I used to live in NY. Now I live in Florida, it's so true about life changes. Looking forward to watching all your other videos.
I appreciate so much that you are real and talking about your challenges and how you have worked through them. Your videos are great! Learning a lot even I am a few years older than you.
Great series Erin! Love seeing the old pics - you really haven't changed a bit - still beautiful, friendly and approachable. The prom dress was my favorite for bringing back memories of old styles that now look funny - lol. And I try to appear confident in upscale stores even though some of the snobby sales people try to make you feel inferior. Like you said we have right to be there. TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack are more my style though...haha.Thanks for keeping all of your fans up to date on how we can be our most confident and beautiful!
Thank you for sharing your family photos and the footage from when you were a reporter, that is such a lovely thing to do. As an Australian I am probably not as familiar with your "history" as some of your other subscribers and it was really interesting to see and learn about your life story, and how your career has progressed. I really love the idea behind this series and I am really looking forward to your next video.
Thanks for sharing your style journey! It's always inspiring to hear how other women got their start and how their identity and self expression evolved over time.
Hi Erin thanks for sharing your personal story! It is very fitting that you were an news reporter you have a wonderful speaking voice and your video production is so professional! I really enjoy your channel!
GREAT video!! You are so inspiring to me because I would never have guessed that you were once intimidated to walk into a high-end store. I used to say "I have just as much right as anyone to be here" as well! Thank you for sharing. I'm sure you touched a lot of women with this particular video.
Erin, I have to say that you are a sweetheart. OmG. I cried a little bit listening to you because all you said in this video is true. We are all human beings with our fears and challenges to face. Thank you for having the courage to tell us this! thank you for helping us women to feel confident and beautiful, it is so important!. I discovered you 3 days ago and I cannot stop watching your videos, hahahahahahah!
My three teenage daughters and I loved this video. You are killing it! I've made three videos here last fall and then stopped because just talking about makeup didn't resonate with me. Maybe someday I'll do one where I speak from the heart to encourage women in some way, like you are doing. You have hit upon a topic here that's so important to women. You're genuine openness and kindness is just lovely. 😍👍🏻👏🏻💗
It was so special for you to share this, it was very personal and I really enjoyed the photos and video clips that you included...I hope you will take this as the compliment it is meant to be, you look younger now than you did in the news room!
Erin I can relate to everything you shared but in a different setting. Thank you for doing this series. I have yet to discover a style, and to bei comfortable at my age of 61 years old today. 🌸
Thanks so much for sharing! I'm 47 and it's only been in the last few years that I've figured out my style and not gotten sucked into buying things just because it's cute or on sale or in style ...or even if it looks good on me it still needs to "belong" with my wardrobe and fit my lifestyle! Loving this series idea and all your videos 😉
This is so how I've felt! I was an 'east-ender' and we were 'backward' as my mother actually used to say. I didn't get over my fear of "Richmond Row' (where the fancy shops are in my city), until I hired a stylist after a break up at 50 years old to help me figure it all out. I shopped those stores and I learned about quality and styling. It was one of the best few thousand dollars I've spent. I wore those quality clothes , accessories, and shoes for years! (Also, I gained 55 pounds with my baby - lost it all by 6 months but am now struggling with menopause weight + lockdown, + a cold , icy winter....and beach season coming soon!!!!) Looking forward to the rest of this series!
Erin, I LOVE this series! I LOVE hearing your stories. I'm from (grew up in, lived in Westchester County for a couple years then came back here where my roots were) Central NY too (Watkins Glen/southern Seneca Lake) and I am JUST at 35 getting a clue about what to wear that I feel good and authentically myself in. My own mom was and still IS pretty clueless so she couldn't teach me or my sisters. I'm thankful for ANY older woman who I can glean from and who take the time to share their experiences, struggles and evolutions. Please keep sharing!
Erin... one of the best / most informative and interesting videos I've watched lately! Your eyes and face just glow when you talk about what you love! Thanks ! Luv all your style tips too!!!❤❤
Loved your story, I can absolutely relate to many of your challenges at certain times of your life. I feel I too have always had an eye for fashion or a love for fashion early on but I feel it really has blossomed and really shined in my mid 30s to current day. I guess as you get older you become wiser and your fashion just keeps getting better lol
Wow, you look much younger now! Watching you old photos reminds me of the 1940's hair stylist. Like leave it to Beaver. Nothing wrong with that. So reserved. Now, you look so relaxed and carefree. What a wonderful journey. Nice job!!
I hear you about bargain shopping! When I was a teen I was lucky enough to live near San Francisco where there were a lot of actual outlets like Esprit, Gunnie Sax, CP Shades, etc. I was trained very young to budget my money and wait for sales without going into debt.
I absolutely loved this video! I'm a new viewer/follower and to be honest, I always assumed that you grew up privileged and then married well. Thank you for your authenticity and thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge! Love you!
Loved hearing about your journey and seeing the pictures!! IMO your classic style was always there, now just so much more refined. Really looking forward to more videos.
I've been on a Busbee marathon for the past several days, lol.... i really enjoy watching your tutorials but I must say, this one really affected me, I admire you so tremendously more!!!
This is my favorite series ever! I loved hearing a little bit about you, Erin, about your life. I'm sorry about your dad. My dad died at 52, so I can relate a little bit. Looking forward to the next one, love you bunches!
I loved hearing about your style journey. Currently, I am in the post baby style journey. It is crazy! I am just starting to feel like I have a handle on things and my son is 2! what has helped me is taking pictures of my outfits. Looking at the pictures helps me see what works and what doesn't. Also, I l have learned that sometimes there is a difference between how I feel in a certain outfits vs how it looks. There was an outfit I just was not feeling, but my husband said it looked great and it looked great in the picture. Also, I really agree with something you said in you last video. Style is not just about vanity looking and feeling good boost self-esteem and that can make a person not only feel better but be more confident and excel in other areas of their life. Thanks so much for this series. Will you be taking requests on some of the topic covered in the series?
Busbee Style how about tips and tricks for looking polished; how to pick special occasion outfits; how to create a wardrobe for a transitional phase; when to follow trends and when to stick to classic pieces; how to select the most flattering colours and patterns; how to incorporate bold accessories into your style ...
I love this series, Erin. I struggle with what is age-appropriate, and I appreciate your guidance. I really enjoyed learning more about you and your journey. Thank you.
Dear Erin, I've always loved you. The way you motivate women like us, the way you choose the words sounds so perfect to me. I felt so sorry for all the challenges you went through but again they contributed to who you are today, a strong woman who's been guiding other women to feel confident in every possible ways. I've personally learned soo many things from you and learning on. No thanks can suffice really! Great going Erin...I pray so that you can achieve even more, after all you deserve so much. Love you --Aditi 😊
Watching this in 2021, after gaining quite a bit of weight during the pandemic. Love your warm, genuine, kind style and your tips are brilliant. Just discovered you and am loving you!
Aww, my grandson is named Gage. :) Love that! I loved this video! I hate looking back at old pictures for the hair and clothes I chose in the past. LOL Good to know I'm not the only one who had to learn.
I enjoyed this so much Erin and just getting to know you more! I also grew up with a single mom and we didn't have a lot of money but I loved clothes and always wanted new clothes (typical teenager)--So I learned to sew by hand and would go to the thrift store and get oversized items with pretty fabrics and prints and create something new out of them. 😊 I still love bargain shopping and altering things to make them my own. 💗
Thank you for sharing your stories. I need all the help I can get. I used to live in NYC and was pretty current with my wardrobe. It's now 20 years later with a 10 year old in a small New England town with a totally different body. I actually have the money now but am lost style wise.
Wow, great video, Erin! It's encouraging to hear about your journey and your challenges and know that you can relate to many of the struggles women have. Thanks for doing this series!
I'm a new sub! Your 2019 finding your style sent me here I just love hearing about your experiences. We're about the same age, and you are completely helping me find my style self. I think of you now when I'm shopping. Just want to say thanks so much!!!!
I found this channel because i am subscribed to Melissa55. I really love her. I am now 36 and with the birth of my son (6 years ago) I gained a little weight (just 3-4 kg), but with this and beeing a mum, a housewife and a working woman EVERYTHING about Dressing changed. I feel unsure about my legs, my butt. I am not sure how to Dress sexy enough, but not too sexy for a mum living in a Little town. I don't have much time to shop or to Dress up in the morning. I can't spend 300 Euros a month for clothes like I used to do in older days... So i totally think this is the Series for me.... I really love to look your 'Style Reboot Series'. Thank you so much Erin! Greetings from Germany.
LOVE the video, Erin! Greatly appreciate your transparency and encouragement. So proud of you! Odd to say perhaps to someone you don't know personally but no other way to describe how you feel when another woman shares her journey into confidence and wants to bring others along. Shine!!!
Hi Erin, looking forward to this series as I feel in a serious rut, and not only style wise. I loved this video in which you share a part of your life and work journey...kudos to you! :-)
This was one of my favorite videos. Loved all your sharing and life experiences, along with the darling photographs. Love this series already, but you are truly special. Loved hearing that you worked for the president (so cute). This is inspirational. Hugs!
Hi Erin, I'm a UK subscriber and really enjoy your channel, even though most of the clothes you feature aren't available over here. Great ideas though. So interesting to hear more about you in this video - looking forward to the rest of the series.
Thank you for sharing! The post pregnancy body is a big one for me, I'm a former athlete, dancer and I've had 3 kids in 4 years! Still trying to get back my figure, it's been hard!
Aw, thanks so much, Melissa! You are such a treasure. I'm so happy we get to be virtual friends. Maybe some day we will actually meet!! Erin xo

Your mother is a hero - single mom with 4 kids, amazing woman! I loved this video!

Hi Denise... I have been so lucky in my career to get those jobs that a million women would want. I didn't talk much about it, but after Miss Universe, I went on to become the Entertainment Producer at WCBS. It's a position that no longer exists...a luxury in a newsroom for sure. Busbee Style how about tips and tricks for looking polished; how to pick special occasion outfits; how to create a wardrobe for a transitional phase; when to follow trends and when to stick to classic pieces; how to select the most flattering colours and patterns; how to incorporate bold accessories into your style ...
Liked the video very much. We also learned more about your journey. I just turned 70 and feel I learn things from you.
Looking forward to this series! Thank you so much!
Thanks for sharing Erin. I am really enjoying this series.
You are SO sweet! Glad you are finding this helpful. I have a ton of recent videos that may help as well! So glad you found me, Silvana! xo
Aww, my grandson is named Gage. :) Love that! I loved this video! I hate looking back at old pictures for the hair and clothes I chose in the past. LOL Good to know I'm not the only one who had to learn.
Thank you so much, Kim! I love that your grandson's name is also Gage! xo
So looking forward to the additional videos in this series 😊 xo Love you Erin!
Thank you for sharing your stories. I need all the help I can get. I used to live in NYC and was pretty current with my wardrobe. It's now 20 years later with a 10 year old in a small New England town with a totally different body. I actually have the money now but am lost style wise.
I love this new series too and am looking forward to more. Thanks for sharing parts of your challenges with us!
Hi Erin! This was so great getting to hear your style challenges and know a little bit more about you. Great stuff- can't wait for more! 😘
Shine!!!
Gosh, thank you for sharing your story - so sweet of you!💕
You are so welcome, Ann! xo
