Hi Erin, love watching your channel because I can relate to you, I love your personality, your style and simplicity. Your recommendations are right on the money for me. There are thousands upon thousands of these types of videos for younger women so I appreciate what you are doing in providing something amazing for our generation.
Yay!! That is my goal. We are largely ignored on UA-cam and that has to stop. I can't take fashion or style advice from a 20-something. I just can't. Thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts... Erin xo
I was able to wear a" modified mini skirt," until I was 55...( not really short ) but yes, somewhat above the knee... Which I was thankful for, from years of working out/ skating / dancing ... All that helped me stay in shape. I think it's as you stated, . .what one decides in terms of " what looks good ", and what is not quite working . Your hair looks fabulous here, and the lipstick is so glam, looks great on you !
Happy Friday Erin! Iam 54 love Fashion I try always looking classy but with a trend!! Love your tips since now days 50's is not old !!! Thank you for all your great advise!!!
I agree !!! I am 64 years young and I don't want to look " oh my gosh she's trying to be really young" lol. ... But I also don't want to look " older " . She really addresses a lot of the things that are questions that come up about what we are wearing. And she's correct about the size thing ..... I wear a four or a six, but it depends on the designer/ manufacturer. I wear a size 2 in a few things that I've purchased.
Your whole look in this video is stunning, hairy the red lip, and understated but classic makeup. Elegant and beautiful. That said this video was excellent advice for those who are in my age range! Gr at advice!
Hi I love your videos, thank you very much. I am a petite 50 year old, apple shape, only a bit yummy around the middle. I have had three months to really look at my wardrobe and go through it with my 30 year old daughter. This review has really helped me get a capsule wardrobe e together. I love dresses and tried wrap dresses for the first time. Some of them look wonderful, after years of A line and empire shapes. 3/4 length jackets look great too with a draw string to give me a waist. My advice is to check out new ways of wearing items, like a dress with white trainers. I buy the low fro t shape from Lacoste, for my small feet. I’ve bought nude shoes, pumps and flats, to elongate my legs. I’m loving the new adaptations. Finding your body shape is critical. Good luck ladies x
Thanks Erin!! So helpful...at 62 I wear message tees and lightly ripped jeans...was wondering if I was pushing the envelope! ha! LOVE your hair...maybe you could do a tutorial on how you styled it? xo
Thanks Erin! Im 63 and will always love being in style with a touch of my own taste. It is so much fun. You can always have fun with clothes just do it in sophisticated way. Keep the videos coming I love them. Thanks.
You look so pretty. Truly lovely. I love that lipstick with your hair. It's very Grace Kelly! If I'm going to wear a shorter skit, tights are for sure the way to go. And pretty opaque ones, too. It's so interesting because sometimes I will think I look ok, then I look in the big mirror and think, NO! lol. This was terrific and so helpful. Lots of love, Melissa
I love how delicately you guide people, and you are so right in all these tips. I hope you have a lot of success, you truly deserve it! You look wonderful!
I'm 56 and I love your tips, I think age is in the mind too. You can be a young 50 or an old 25. I say have fun you live once and make sure your bits and pieces are covered because class comes first. Thank you for your videos I love them!
.... I concur . Class comes first, that was a great way to express that . Being 64 years young, I have found that a few things I was " able to pull off " ( get away with wearing, lol,) in my 50's , are not going to be able to make the cut, lol. But we still need to have fun, be classy with what you choose to wear ( even jeans and a really nice white t- shirt can be classy !) ,and if you remain young in spirit, it will help you tremendously.
Great logical advise .... I used to work in the 90's at contempo casuals ( a store similar to limited) there used to a cute lady in her 70's and she loved the short vinyl mini skirts ... she was all about the club wear ... she would come in with her husband a few times a week and she totally rocked it
Thank you for mentioning shorts! I live in south Texas, and I am wearing shorts today, typing this next to my Christmas tree. It seems that most fashion people live in cold climates and talk a lot about layering but not at all about the heat. So, thanks!
Erin, thank you soooo much for all the style advice. I have learned so much and have applied tons of tips which have made a huge difference in how I look, but more importantly , it has changed how I feel abut myself when I walk outside.
Fun story about ripped jeans! I have a pair of medium to slight ripped jeans. I was at TJMAXX trying on shoes and the older gentleman next to me said, you need a new pair of pants. I can pay for them!! He was funny about it! ! I laughed because that is something my grandparents and even my father would say!!! LOL
@@sadiedesimone7460 - I so agree. I sort of grew up alone, we didn't have much, so when I see ripped jeans I just can't wrap my head around this trend; spending money on jeans that are torn up. But that's ok for me, and others can wear what they want.
I like the dog in the background and one of your children popping up in the corner for a moment; it's real, it's life, it's not perfect. I really like that!
Hi Erin! The three tips you mentioned really sums up everything I need to put together an outfit. I thought crop tops were out for me so thanks for suggesting the high waist alternatives. I just turned 31 and am figuring out how to dress a little more sophisticated. Love your videos, thank you!!
I think that's about when I started shifting slightly... it's small changes. Good luck with your journey and don't stress... Happy Birthday, btw!! Erin xo
Great advice. I made peace with my size a few years ago. When I did I fell in love with fashion. Fit is everything! Love the red lip btw ❤. Hugs, Chrissy
Erin I only just found you by accident and I'm so thankful . I have been struggling to feel fashionable please could you do a clip on big busts and the best clothing to wear. I really struggle with this being 40 + . So glad I found your clips . Love your work ,Thanks again .
Erin would you please do video on small busted ladies. I'm 66 and still self conscious of my chest. You have given some amazing tips. Thank you!! A friend directed me to your video. It's so helpful!!
You are so beautiful .. and so positive ... I love your natural and sincere way that you present yourself ... we are not perfect .. none of us are.. I love the way you express your vulnerabilities ...
Love love love this series ! Can you do an accessory video addressing jewelry and handbag size/shape as to body type. When a statement piece of jewelry is appropriate. Loose rules maybe ? Looking gorgeous , as always !
Erin, as always great content-thank you!!! At 56 I have found my style in owning my age and recognizing covering up more clothing wise and wearing less makeup is younger and more stylish for my shape and overall confidence. I ask myself will I be comfortable and confident with this choice and that has really helped not bring home or order the wrong items. Accept who you are now and celebrate it-for me I don't do many prints but many women my age rock them and now I know not to get caught off guard in what others rock and stay to what I am comfortable and confident in. Your work ethic on your videos is so appreciated, keep it up and your channel will continue to grow. Great to see Traveler in the background-he is a big boy!!! OXO
Great video Erin! So glad you are doing this series! Awesome style tips that are well thought out and informative! Love that you aren't afraid to talk about your imperfections--and YES, you do always look like you've got it together, even if you don't! Keep inspiring us!! xoxo
Thanks, Stephanie... I'll be the first to point out all of my imperfections. There are many. Thank you so much for your sweet and supportive words... I am over the moon grateful! Erin xo
Love your hair here! ...and of course I Like all your videos. You get it!! Dressing your own style is a challenge and your videos help declutter my mind.

Me too! They could be quite mean, though. I'm trying to use a softer approach which I think is more productive. Remember that 360 degree mirror? YOUCH!
Loved your tips I always have problems with my giraffe legs and living in AZ with 110+ temps, I won't give up my shorts. I love how you showed ways to incorporate the trends but still being sophisticated. Thanks Erin. ♥ Elle
Thank you Erin. I like my mini skirts/shorts. I feel confident when dressed as such. I only put on long dresses to church and to my mum in law's house ( being African it is purely cultural).
Great series Erin! I am really enjoying it, I turned 50 last year and I am making a bigger effort to look my best for myself, if I look good I feel good, you look great with red lipstick.
Thanks Erin. Great video. I just turned 70 and still love fashion and like to dress current. I find myself questioning clothes when I buy something to make sure I do not try to dress younger than I should. For some reason this birthday bothered me. You looked lovely today.
Sharon M I turned 70 this year as well. I love fashion and continue to enjoy it. I consider my style casual classic and I do not plan on changing as far as dressing stylish. My granddaughter says I give her hope for the future so nuff said. :)) Fashion is fun and you are never too old to be in style.
Hi Erin!! I am hooked to your videos. Enjoying every bit of them. They are simply amazing. So very helpful. Could you please make some videos for ladies with varicose veins on legs and how could they cover them in summer with your styling tips and look chic. Thanks❤️
I love these tips and have been looking forward to them every week. I always question my style as I get older. Not sure if it is appropriate and I think harder about it since I turned 40. Love the red lipstick, it is so flattering on you!
Yup... wear those too in the summer months and LOTS of dresses. I wear shorts when it's windy and I worry about exposure ...or for kid's events where I may be up and down a lot.
Your hair looks awesome in this video! Thanks for all the tips. I'm about to go from 30's to 40's next month but I really don't feel like I need to change up what I wear. I base it off of how my body looks or feels.
You may as you progress in your 40's... or you may not. I think it's a VERY personal journey. I think it's only been in the last couple of years that I've really gotten rid of short dresses and skirts. I used to have a closet filled with them. BY THE WAY... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! This is a BIG one... What are your plans??
Great tips Erin, love your videos. Honestly you make my Wednesdays and Fridays bright! Keep up the good work! You are looking gorgeous in this video. Love your hair style and the red lips 👌
Erin you are just so awesome. I agree with every tip you have. Your voice is hypnotic and your photos incredible. Thank you so much for all your hard work! If you are headed to nyfw bring warm clothes and waterproof boots. It's nasty cold and slushy gross snow up here in NEw England.
I am so happy I just found your channel. I've been watching a bunch while on treadmill. That red lipstick is GORGEOUS! Love everything about your hair and makeup! ❤
Great tips Erin love your videos. I try and dress modern without being too trendy, but I still find myself looking at the type of clothes my granddaughters wear as they are so pretty, but as I am 64 I have to reign it in. I will always love fashion though, just can't imagine not bothering.
love these videos and watching you as I think you have great style and I am also 42. my nana, who is 84 saw me in ripped jeans and said I wear them to look youger, but I love them and feel like me in them so I will keep on wearing my ripped jeans!...if you feel good in what your wearing it definitely shines through
You look lovely Erin!! I like the layering piece u added with that crop top. Good idea!! Now i need to find one like that and loved that white shorts with denim. Wish I could visit US every month for shopping, came back few days ago and just cant get enough. The casual wear options are amazing there. :D
Could you please give some tips on biker leather jacket and denim jacket. How snug it should be? I have seen people wearing a small size and they rock it. But I am kind of uncertain, if it should be smaller or just fitted? If I take it fitted and keep it open, it almost hides the shirt under it. Whats should be correct fit?
If you do have imperfections, Erin, they are perfectly imperfect! Thank you for this series, I am enjoying it very much being 50 years old but enjoying looking modern without implementing every little trend. I love reading the comments from other subscribers as well. Have a happy weekend!
I turned 40 this year, and saw your video where you turned 40. I couldn't believe it! You look amazing. I'd like to see vids of your skin routine because you are doing something right!
Great video! I loved the point about wearing something under a crop top. I'm very uncomfortable about how my stomach looks, but I think I could pull that look off (your outfit in that picture was so cute).
Great video! I'm 57 and feel young and like to dress youthful so these tips really helped and I will keep them in mind. I do wear shorts when its hot and I'm not working and think they can be worn at any age if done appropriately. I met an on trend 90 year old beautiful woman the other day. Wish I had taken a picture. Wedge animal print heels, monochromatic outfit with simple jewelry. She looked amazing and much younger than her age!
I love my lightly distress jeans and I'm 51. I love shopping with my two sisters, we are in our fifthies and we help each other out, well be honest about fashion and how the clothes fit.
I chop kids tee shirts in half or skinny girl tee shirts and wear the result around my middle so nothing hangs out or over whatever trousers I have in the bottom. It takes the self consciousness away and generally smooths things over! I used to get hung up on sizing too. As long as I’m a 10!

Erin, you always look great, but you look amazing in this video. The red lipstick and hair is incredible. :) Love the video.

Great Video! Great advice! It was cute seeing Travey walk through!
Great video Erin. Felt like a pep talk! Loved it! Thanks :)
AWESOME!!!! That is my JAM. And, I never use that word... ;) Erin xo
Love your hair in this video !!!! Also love you having your act together!!! 😘😘
I love this so much! Thanks for your honesty and realness. :)
Thank you soooo much for this video Erin!!! I've been fighting preconceived ideas of what age appropriate is and this just really helped me! ❤
That is GREAT to hear!! If it's helpful...I'm happy!! Thanks, Jamie! Erin xo
Great video! It answered sooo many of my questions. You looked beautiful!
Thanks so much!!! Enjoy your weekend! Erin xo
Great video! I loved the point about wearing something under a crop top. I'm very uncomfortable about how my stomach looks, but I think I could pull that look off (your outfit in that picture was so cute).
I am really enjoying this series! Thank you for all the great tips and guidance!
Just finding your channel!! THANK YOU! This is amazing! Can’t wait to watch from the beginning!!😘🧡🧡
Thanks SO much for your comments! I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos! xo
do a video on the role of hair in fashion.. like ponytail with collared tops, etc.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSs
That lip color though 💄 😍 love these videos Erin!
New subscriber here! You have inspired me to try red lips. As a pale blonde it's always scared me! I'm 48 and appreciated this video very much!
Thank you for subscribing pretty, Nicki! Try the red lips! Erin xo
I like the layer under the crop top advice. Not my thing, but I love how it looks on you.
Oh boy...take a picture next time. We ALL need to see amazing women like her for inspiration. Thank you for sharing, Kitty!!
I’m for sure stuck in rot. I don’t know what to wear Auh. Love ur lipstick
I love my lightly distress jeans and I'm 51. I love shopping with my two sisters, we are in our fifthies and we help each other out, well be honest about fashion and how the clothes fit.
That is a GREAT point and I should have mentioned it... checks and balances! With a friend or family member who isn't afraid to be honest. Erin xo
Thank you for great advise. Your eyeshadow palette is lovely! What colours are they?
Loving this series👍🏼 You look ahmazing with your red lips💋 and gorg hair!
I chop kids tee shirts in half or skinny girl tee shirts and wear the result around my middle so nothing hangs out or over whatever trousers I have in the bottom. It takes the self consciousness away and generally smooths things over! I used to get hung up on sizing too. As long as I’m a 10!
I love your advice. You have been so helpful! Have fun in NY☺
Love love love this series!
